Hello, I am trying to create a map of all our paintStyleIds that we have stored in a Figma file. Purpose of doing that is to use semantic names of these paintStyles rather than their hex values. I have a plugin which gets the values of all the current paint styles in a file (using figma.getLocalPaintStyles() ). When I look through the data that I get back from Figma, I see that paintStyleId comes back truncated, something like this- id: “S:407eaa3991e05cb0597e4da3fr728014dc7f0f3b56,” The actual iid that works looks something like this- id: “S:407eaa3991e05cb0597e4da3fr728014dc7f0f3b56, 3:78” I am trying to. understand where does this colon separated value after the comma comes from? I don’t see this data anywhere in the data I get back from Figma. Any help is much appreciated.

Hi guys! I made a very simple example, but in the original dropdown I have 10 variants. The problem is that I can’t link from the dropdown variant to another frame. Yes, I can do it from the component, but this doesn’t work for me since the link will not be the same in the prototype. I am doing something wrong? or can not be? Thanks.

What is fixed and scrolls in figma right side mention? What do they do?

Good afternoon. I want to create in my prototype a field for entering numerical values and text ( for example passwords or a small comment). Is there any way to animate it without creating additional frames? Do you happen to know a good tutorial on this topic? So far I have created input fields and a popup keyboard, I would also like to do numeric input into the input fields when I click on the keyboard. 😀

Hi ! I’m starting to use Figma more professionally (used it in a personal way before), and just learned about prototype, scrolling and so on I’m trying to create a scrollable list of tickets. If the user does not find the ticket she wants in the list, she can click a text at the end that says “Load more tickets” (see image below, I can only embed one). Unfortunately, I’m unable to put this bottom padding you see above when I enable the scrolling on the list container (an auto-layout element, no component involved). It appears like this : How do I add this bottom layout? I’ve been searching for what feels like hours without finding what I need. Thanks in advance for any help ! Have a nice day ☀️

I’m having trouble properly sizing shapes because they end up with a lot of whitespace around them. I create a shape (StarNode, PolygonNode, or EllipseNode, then a TextNode. I resize both to the same dimensions. Then I put them into a GroupNode and finally resize the GroupNode the same. The ellipse works perfectly, but star and polygon have significant whitespace. While it looks alright, it makes proper sizing difficult. Any thoughts on how I can make the size fit snugly around the shape? This is my first Figma plugin project and I’m likely missing something obvious. I can provide the code if it will help.

hi there ! An error message pop up when i try to use Adobe Fonts … when they are well installed on Adobe Font and worked perfectly fine a few days ago … any clue what can i do ? It seems its nos syncronised anymore … please help
