Hi everyone,I’m creating my typography system in Figma and have run into a problem.Setup I created three primitive Font family variables: Family/Title Family/Heading Family/Body Every text style is linked to that alias so we can swap fonts easily later. Problem All Title styles and Body styles work perfectly. For the Heading styles it only works in the first text-style set. In the other three variants: the variable chip is struck through; after Detach variable the font family immediately falls back to the first variant’s font. What I’ve tried Deleted and recreated the primitive variables. Deleted and recreated the alias variable “Font family (Title/Heading/Body)”. Restarted the document and Figma completely. Checked for style conflicts or overrides inside components (found none). The issue remains: only Heading set 1 works, the other three don’t.QuestionHas anyone run into this before or am I missing a step? Any advice is greatly appreciated!Thanks in a

Hi, I’m pretty newbie at Figma and image processing in general. I’m wondering is it possible to make effect of waves propagation on the image? Something like small earthquake on the image. For example we have image of the beach and waves in 2D space. How can we try to create such effect?

Hi everyone,I’ve been testing the new Figma Website feature and I’m running into a problem: horizontal scrolling doesn’t seem to work.Details: Scrolling only works with the mouse wheel — I can’t click and drag to scroll like I can in classic prototypes. I’m trying to create horizontally scrollable elements (like filter chips or even a full webiste with horizontal scroll), but it’s not usable in this case. Everything works fine in regular prototypes. Is this a bug, a current limitation of Figma Website, or maybe something wrong on my side (outdated version)?Thanks in advance for any help or insight!

Hi everyone,I noticed that when trying to publish a file, the checkbox to mark it as a paid file is currently grayed out. I also saw the note saying “We’re not accepting new paid files at this time.” Is this a temporary limitation?Any idea if or when submissions for paid files will reopen?And are there any recommended alternatives to monetize Figma content in the meantime? Thanks a lot!

Is there anyway to add a library to a team or project so that it automatically shows up in every design file in that team or project?

Hi, I'm experiencing severe lags when selecting objects and moving them. And light lags in the layers panel. Is it true that after moving a file to another team and project the libraries are no longer linked? Or is this a bug. We have the idea that this did not happen before.

As you can see I’ve pasted an absolute frame with fill color a gradient, in order to create a faded effect for a marquee. Although this renders well on the canvas and preview, once published this is what it shows:   This automatically resets to the correct position if I resize my browser window.Thanks for your help!

When holding the “Z” key down on the Mac app and dragging to select my zoom window, the Zoom tool intermittently drags the layer(s underneath. It does not Zoom into it.

Hi, I wonder if Figma Sites includes a cookie banner component that can be enabled? There are some ad cookies included in the code of the published site on the figma.site subdomain.

Is there a way to get hold of earlier version of Figma app for iPhone X. AppStore only offers latest version that requires iOS 17. The highest for iPhone X is 16.7.11. Showing prototype in web-browser on mobile is not an option.Tnx in advance for answers!Best regards, Darko

Hello everyone,  I’m trying the hide  the content on the bottom (underneath the arrows) so it will be visible only when scrolling in prototype mode. I cannot seem to hide it, ‘since move to back’ doesn’t work in this case. Any tips? Also I’m not sure this is the right way to do it, but maybe after I will be able to hide it, I could figure it out. Thank you!   

Hi all, I am a newbie to Figma and I would like to get help in using columns/grids. I have created a grid in my frame. However, now, when I want to create new rectangle, lets say in the center of the frame (horizontal and vertical), it snaps to some strange position:  Can somebody help me and advise how to make it not snap to this position? I just want to place it anywhere I want, maybe snap to the nearest “guide”. But not to move the whole rectanble to the top.  I have all snapping disabled in Preferences. I suppose it is because I use Auto Layout instead of Column/Grid, but I cannot find any option how to NOT use Auto Layout in the right side panel.Thank you.
