Figma with supreme slowness for any file I open

Just today, after learning about the changes to Figma's education plan, I was getting ready to migrate to the professional plan. Before that, I needed to access a file from my personal account, and I'm experiencing excruciating slowness, not just with this file but with all my personal files. Whether accessing it through the browser or the desktop app, they simply lag. I've tried everything, but nothing has worked.

The strangest thing of all is that this is only happening in my personal account. In the company account where I work, the files open normally.

I've already migrated my personal account to the professional plan, and the problem still persists. I really don't know what to do :(

Hi @Tiago Antonio,

I understand you're experiencing slowness in Figma. Thanks for flagging this!

Given the timing of your report and the symptoms you described, it’s possible that this was related to a issue we previously identified.
Our team has since released a fix, and we’d appreciate it if you could try the following:

  • Please fully reload Figma (both browser and desktop app, if applicable), and let us know if the slowness still persists.

Thanks,

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure how I fixed it, as I tried several things, including restarting Figma, reinstalling it, installing the Beta version as a backup, clearing the cache, and using GPU acceleration. However, after the last restart, the problem was resolved.
