Hi Figma Team,I encountered an issue where the Export button on the right corner is not functioning. When I hover over it, the cursor changes into a text cursor (I-beam) instead of the usual pointer, and clicking the button doesn't trigger any export action.This behavior is unexpected and is affecting my workflow. Please let me know if there's a workaround or when a fix might be expected.Thanks for your support!

Hi! In design mode, when I select an object with a Move tool (V) and then click K to select a scale tool, scale factor input field is already in focus and I can quickly scale whatever, for example, by pressing K + ½ + Enter.How it works in Design mode after I selected with Move tool and clicked K onceHowever, when I tried the same in Draw mode, it didn’t work as a scale factor input field is not put in focus right after I click K button and thus I need to click K again to get this field focused.How it looks in Draw mode after I selected with Move tool and clicked K onceIs it supposed to work this way or is it a bug? Thank you in advance!Best regards,Kadir

When typing in Japanese and trying to go back to edit in the middle of a sentence, the cursor jumps to the end of the line. It’s frustrating because you have to delete the misplaced text and then manually return to where you were. The only workaround is typing the correction at the end, and then copy-pasting it back into place — which is a huge waste of time, especially when writing multiple comments.Ref: https://x.com/ken_tbdz/status/1790201098558407013Also, although I couldn't record it, there’s another bug where the whole text gets duplicated without line breaks. Again, this messes up formatting and forces you to spend extra time cleaning things up.I understand Japanese input might not be a priority, and maybe this only affects Japanese users — but please please please fix this. It’s seriously impacting usability. Thank you!

Hi everyone,I’ve been facing an issue with exporting images from Figma. When I export them, they appear in high resolution, but after downloading, the JPG or PNG file becomes long and stretched. The image also appears blurry when zoomed in. Even after uploading it to Behance, the issue persists with the image appearing stretched and blurry.However, when I open the same image in Photoshop, it appears clear. But when I export it again from Photoshop, the image reverts to being stretched and blurry.Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

I’m teaching one of my UX classes online this summer, and since the class is asynchronous I made a Figjam board with some icebreaker exercises on it.I want to leave it open for a week, not 24 hours- and I definitely won’t remember to start an open session every 24 hours for a week.I don’t really want to invite students to join any of my projects, because I have between 30-200 students per semester and things get crazy quickly. Is there a way to give them edit access to a single Figjam file for a week? (I’m on an educational license. Most of the students will have created an educational account, but some folks always lag behind and haven’t done it by the first week of class.) 

Hello everyone, I’m having some issues with Figma Slides when trying to present both in presenter and audience view. In particular, the “smart animate” slides transition doesn’t work in the audience view but seems to work fine in the presenter view. I already tried to restart the presentation, open it in the app and on different browsers, I just can’t find a way to make it work. It’s driving me crazy, I’d 100% prefer to not view the smart animations in the presenter view rather than in the audience view.Do you have suggestions for solving this? It’s for my graduation presentation, I need to use 2 screens, one external for the audience view and my macbook screen for reading the notes in the presenter view:(

If you see the attachment, the annotations show up despte I am on Design mode. How can I turn them off? I clicked View menu and turned Annotations off, but they appear again when I logged again.

After the most recent Figma update, none of my plugins are working.They either won’t open at all or just freeze when I try to use them.I’ve restarted, reinstalled, and tried both the desktop app and browser – same issue.Is anyone else running into this? Or am I just the lucky one?Would love to know if there's a fix?😭 

I have tried to do this with booleans and appearance but I can’t seem to get it working. Basically if the user clicks item 1 I want the item 1 to be marked as per the right image and swap the header to show the score increase of 757. Thanks

I've created a simple interactive component. A dropdown that's closed by default, opens on click, and should close again when clicked a second time. It works as expected within the same Figma file where I built it, but when I copy it into another Figma file, in to a frame, only part of the interaction works: the dropdown opens on click, but it doesn’t close on the second click.If anyone has any insight or suggestions, I'd really appreciate the help!

I’ve read that Make began rolling out on 7 May 2025 and is included on all paid Full seats, provided AI features are turned on for the team.Could you please let me know: The intro page notes that Make is rolling out to paid Full seats “over the coming weeks.” Is there a more specific timeframe (e.g., number of weeks or a target month) for Professional-plan customers like me? Is there a way to gain early access—such as joining a beta program or another method—before it reaches my account automatically? Today when I opened my Figma the top-bar colour changed on its own. 😡I’m using a light-mode theme, and I was happy with the black top bar.The top bar is not supposed to be grey, even in light mode, the contrast is terrible, and it looks like a UI from 90’s. Please fix this bug as soon as possible, this is unacceptable!

Design Files and Presentations stopped opening on Desktop App for Windows. Reload didn’t help. Status - All Systems Operational 

Paste to Replace is no longer working properly as of a few days ago. It seems to be using Paste as Text despite using the shortcut and context menu options for Paste to Replace. Desktop app seems to be working as intended but I prefer the browser version if that’s still a viable option. In browser I have tried:Logging out/in Signing out of other devices Clearing browser cache, history, etc.Worst case I can switch to desktop app, just curious if I’m doing something wrong here.Thank you!
