Recently, it seems that now interacting with prototypes in the Notes view of presentation mode in Figma Slides does not reflect what the audience is seeing in their view of the presentation. I have to move my cursor away from my notes to the audiences view of the slides and interact with the prototype there. This seems like a bug to me. It was not performing this way last week. Additionally, another update that seems to have happened at the same time is that prototypes in Slides load automatically and do not need to be clicked on to load, this is OK, but in my use case, i wanted 2 prototypes on the screen at once (Before & After versions), and having them load at the same time causes confusion. Having an option to load immediately or start on click would be helpful. 

It’s is showing black screen without any error message. I tried to uninstall and clear all the files in file manager and reinstalled it again but still it's not opening I tried All the method listed below : 1. Clear Figma cache2. Run Figma with disabled GPU acceleration3. Update your graphics drivers4. Reset/Reinstall with full cleanup Please Help me in this !!! 

I canceled my Figma subscription a week ago, and my account is currently showing as on the free Starter plan. Despite this, I was charged for the Professional team subscription for the period from September 3 to October 3, 2025.This situation raises serious concerns about potential system failures or even misleading practices. I expected my cancellation to be processed correctly, yet I find myself facing an unexpected charge. Has anyone else encountered this issue? It's crucial to resolve this matter quickly, as it feels like a breach of trust. Any advice on how to escalate this situation would be greatly appreciated!

Whenever I set a frame either min or max width, ‘left and right’ constraint is disabled. Is this a bug? Or is there’s any reason?

With the official roll out and credit limits, is the limit per seat or total for the plan? 

Why after delay animations like, slide in, slide out, move in, move out & push are not working inside the components?? 

 I’m trying to roll back a Figma Make file to a previous version, but it’s not allowing me to. I just get this message without any further context or explanation. No matter how far I rollback, same message. Has anyone else encountered this? Any idea how to resolve it?

Hey, I’ve ran into a weird problem and want to see if anyone else has this problem or a solution.Right now my team is working on updating our UI library and organizing our main components into frames to display them clearly (similar to how Material Design type kits lay them out). The way we have our components set up is we apply an auto layout to the frame that’s created once you add a variant to a component.Since we’re wanting to clean up the display of the components, we’re trying to get the variables a neater layout and have tried using the grid layout as they allow you to place the variables next to one another & give you blank spaces that you cant get with an auto layout that just has a wrap.As I’ve been moving things into grids, I noticed that all of the interactions applied to the variants have been completely deleted and I’m not sure why. I know grids are still in beta so it could be a bug, but I want to double check just to make sure it’s not me doing something wrong so I

After the recovery, one of my admins [redacted] reported that some of their draft files are missing. These files are not visible in their Drafts or in the Trash.Details: I am the team owner. Admin account: [redacted] The team was deleted and then restored. After recovery, several important draft files belonging to this admin are missing.  I’m trying to create an absolutely placed footer that contains a form.  It can expand to 1000 and then should be centered if the screen size is greater than that.  If the screen is less than 1000 then it should shrink to a minimum of 300.  The container seen in white has auto layout applied.How do I prevent the blue box from breaking out of the layout?  

I’m working on a presentation that contains several prototypes. I’ve set specific widths and heights for the prototypes so that I can scroll inside them.However, when I click on a prototype in the editor, the specified height is randomly removed, and the prototype expands to its full height. This happens even if the aspect ratio is locked.I’ve tried closing and reopening the files, but the bug persists

I have some buttons that have a hover effect and in the prototype there is slight movement of the content. I checked the position of the content to be the same in both instances (default and hovered) in regards to the margins and in between items I applied a “while hovering” interaction with instant animation This also seems to happen in between separate screens of a prototype for text in a header component that doesn’t have animation applied or any other interaction. Anyone has any idea?

I have a product with core components that are used across multiple clients. In each client, the component is "dressed" with the client's colors and fonts. I'd like to keep the core component connected to the library, but when used in the client file, the client's colors and fonts are applied.I tried to do this using variable modes. I created a library for the client with the color and font variables, but I can't get it to work in the client's Figma component.Is there a way to make this work? Or another way to apply the client's colors and fonts to the component?

I keep on getting a reminder to head into dev mode to remind admins about an upgrade request. Like all the time. Every 10 or 20 minutes maybe. I don't think I ever made an upgrade request and I'm not part of any group that has admins. I signed up with my work email but I'm the only person at the company who uses Figma. It never happens on my personal account.Are other people receiving this as well? It's very annoying.  

This didn't happen before. But, as if due to recent updates, the temperature is now constantly at 70 degrees Celsius, and the computer is extremely noisy due to the fan. The processor is at 11% load. In the browser version, the temperature is 60 degrees Celsius, but the processor is at 5%. Therefore, there's no noise.It's uncomfortable to work in the browser version, but it's even more uncomfortable when the fan is incredibly noisy. What could be the problem?

I am experiencing an issue with verifying my student account on Figma. Unfortunately, I have reached the verification attempt limit, and I am unable to proceed further.I contacted education@figma.com regarding this matter 7 days ago, but I have not received any response. I have also mailed sheer ID support but no response from their side either.Could someone from the Figma team please assist me in resolving this issue or advise on the next steps?

 I’m hoping someone can clarify this for me. I used to copy objects from Adobe Illustrator with Cmd +C and paste them into Figma with Cmd +V, and they would arrive as editable vectors. I’m absolutely certain this worked before. Lately, though, every paste comes in as a flattened image instead of vectors. Nothing in my workflow has changed, so I’m starting to wonder if I’m losing my mind! Has Figma (or Illustrator) changed something recently? Is there a setting or workaround I’m missing? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Problem description:Hi Figma team,Since the last update, I can no longer see the distance between elements when I select one and hold down the Option key (on Mac) while hovering over another. I’ve tried everything suggested:Using Option or Alt + hover over another element. Switching from Draw to Design mode in the bottom right of the interface. Restarting Figma, opening new files, updating the app, clearing the cache, trying the web version, and even disabling plugins.Nothing has worked and the problem persists, even though I used to see the measurements with no problem before.I would really appreciate some help, since this tool is essential in my workflow and it’s causing me a lot of issues.Thank you!

When using annotations, there’s a recurring bug where some annotations are visible while others are not.The issue occurs when annotations are inside a Section. If I remove the Section, the annotations immediately appear.

PLEASE HELP! ;(This is what I have been looking at, I tired everything, I cleared the cache, changed browsers, tried a vpn, reinstalled my browser xD, nothing works. Please any clue how to fix this or is this from figma side ?  

Hi! A previous team member was the owner of the Figma file and was receiving email notifications from Figma normally (view request from external people). Before he left the company, I assigned myself the owner of the file.I was expecting to receive the notification emails of view requests since I got the ownership of the file. But nothing happened.My problem is: with the recent Figma upgrade, the view request panel in Figma doesn’t show the emails of the people who want to view the file (before the upgrade it did). I need that information for security reasons (that could be solved with the email notification).I already tried to adjust Figma preferences in order to receive the email notifications, but it didn’t help.Any clues?Thanks!
