Self explanatory title. I am currently working on a spec-sheet (non-figma based) and need to share the anatomy of the design library component. when showcasing color styles it often showcase the entire pagination, without explicitly showing the last item in the pagination, which to be honest is the most important one??. Is there a way to remove/tweak this?

I’m sending you this ticket because since the last update of Figma, I can’t use the desktop application on my macOS with Mojave operating system, and I don’t want to update it to the next version. Since I’ve been paying my subscription for years, I believe I have the right to have a desktop version of Figma that I can use from my work computer. Please, I’m looking forward to your response to provide me with a solution. Thanks a lot

I’m not sure what the feature is but i’ve attached an image. Our developer said they enabled it in Dev Mode (not as a plugin) and now the lines show both in and out of dev mode all over the designed screen. It does not let me select and delete them, only drag them around. Please helpEdit: - Deleting the Frame gets rid of them- Copy / Pasting the frame brings them back trying to avoid having to recreate all the frames it sits on top of. They don’t show up in the layers of the frame.

Hi all, I am building a plugin and having trouble rendering an HTML.Currently, I am trying to take a string html, render it to an image and take a screenshot of that image to display on Figma. I’ve tried it with a screenshot, base64, uint8array, but have found no success so far.My current process looks like this:Input: HTML string Server-side Processing: The HTML string is sent to server endpoint The HTML is rendered using puppeteer The screenshot is converted to either base64 string, png, or uint8array (Tried all three) The the image data is received in Figma A new image is created in Figma using figma.createImageAsync()  I am getting errors on step 2, and the error seems to be that puppeteer is not working properly in Figma plugin’s sandboxed environment. Has anyone had any luck generating screenshots from raw HTML string?

Hey folks, I need a little help. I’ve been working in Figma for two years and have never once gotten Smart Animate to. Y’know.Work.At all.So I need a little help. I’ve got all my layers named the same, in the same order. Is there something else I should be looking for?Each instance has its own name because, well, it has to. Looks like in UI3 Figma skipped the ability to save plugins to a separate “folder” in a menu. So I can’t use the keyboard shortcut to launch the plugin when it disappears from the “recently used” list. There used to be an option to save the plugin, but now there isn’t. Do I miss something?

In my app prototype, I’m trying to create a multi-step-flow form which consists of, say, 12 steps - from 1 to 12. I create each step on individual rectangles (grouped all the contents in each rectangle or step) and placed them on the main frame. I then hid all the steps (rectangles) except the 1st step (rectangle). I tried applying the interaction on the next and previous buttons to flow the steps from first to second and on so, and again to work out the previous button. Let me also mention you how did try to apply the interaction; I first selected the next button in the step one and then went to prototype, and clicked on the interactions. Within that I selected the Trigger to be “on tap”, action to be “navigate to”, but when I need to select the destination, it doesn’t show the rectangle related to the step 2. Therefore, I have not been able to create the interaction needed.I’m currently having the free version of figma, and I hope this is not the reason as to

Video can only be added to files in a paid Education, Professional, and Organization team. Plugins running on files in free Starter teams can edit existing video in a file but not upload video to it. I am trying to import videos to users’ file from PluginAPI. Since it can only be done to paid teams, is there a way to check this gracefully? Or is the only way to check is expecting an error from `createVideoAsync`?

Hi All, In the Figjam UI, if you double click on an arrow, you have the ability to add text to the Connector that stays attached to the Connector. Like this below.  There HAS to be a way to do this via API; we could not find any properties that sounded like it would create the arrow-embedded-text like the screenshot above. Does this feature exist?  Thank you!

I use figma to make an isometric map and I have to duplicate several images to make a background but when I see it in prototype, these black line appear bettween the images’ edges and I don’t know why. How can I fix this? Please help me, thank you all so much.The originalWhen I see it in prototype 

Hello! New to Figma.I’m working on a schedule prototype. I’d want to make it so when the user presses the + , the square will scale vertically with set incerments.So each press would make it larger with let say, 25 pixels.And of course, when pressing - the square will decrease with 25 pixels. 

How to go back to the old version of figma if there was a button "Go back to previous UI" before, but now this button is gone

I made a component in a file (let’s call it “File A”), and then at some point I think I moved the component (with cut + paste) to my component library file (“File B”). I have since deleted File A (permanently deleted in trash too), as I was only using it as a working file. Now, when I’m wanting to publish the master component from File B, I always see “Publish as copy” next to the component, along with a greyed out “Move to this file” option. The problem: File A no longer exists and this component is not a “copy” of any component. How can I get rid of this prompt? It makes me nervous, as if there’s some ghost component somewhere that I have no control over, and the “Publish as copy” language is confusing. Looking for any help. This feels like a bug - is there any fix?

I recently started my Figma journey and learnt about vertical scrolling. I managed to get it to work to scroll down, as in swiping upwards, there will be more information below replacing the information at the top. However, I had an idea that needed the user to be able to scroll up, as in there’s more information above, and said information will replace the information that will be pushed down and out of the screen.  I tried to do it, but the frame didn’t cover the top section of my information, and merely pushed it out of the main frame, so I was wondering if it’s possible or I’m just wasting my time trying. Thanks for the help in advance.

Hi, i just wondering. How it is Possible to use Click to Navigate to other frame and wrap it all to just One Frame that showing on Prototype and then When you click it will change the content only. Maybe this Wireframe Flow can help my question. Please kindly check the Picture. Frame “PROTOTYPE” = is the Final the Design that i wanted, the other Frame “FRAME 1, FRAME 2, FRAME 3” that is the Frame that i want to wrap into 1 Frame. I am making a dropdown in a website. In my imagination, if user are not sign in, if any action related to account, it will triggering a login notification from within an overlay.but if i apply this interaction, after i click “View Profile”, the notification pop-up and close both overlay (shopping bag overlay and notification overlay). Is there any better ways to perform this effect?  

Before the new UI (which I hate by the way), you could simply click into the width or height boxes and type in the width you wanted it to be. Now it seems the only way is to manually resize each box and then keep it at fixed width? When I click into the box, it just opens the options again. Am I going crazy? How do you manually change this sizing? I just want to be able to type in 176 or whatever!  

One of the most frequent things I do is select multiple layers, and create a component set. It used to be easy as there was an easily accessible menu in the toolbar at the top.But now in the new UI, I can’t find it. I’d expect it to be in that floating toolbar at the bottom (which I don’t like there btw, but that’s a separate issue) but it’s not there. I right-clicked hoping to see it as a context menu but it’s not there. It’s not even in the main menu on top left.Anyone know? 

Hi, I believe I’ve exhausted all the existing help articles on this. I’m having a hard time with something that should be very basic. I have 25 or so screens, the ONLY interaction between them is that the user should be able to click and/or press the arrow key to navigate LINEARLY between them. Sometimes it works (especially if I go slowly, it works every time). But sometimes it doesn’t, sometimes it inexplicably jumps through sections (pretty much only happens if I press the arrow keys quickly). It appears that if I click through it goes linearly every time without skipping screens. So the problem is only with the arrow keys (which I can’t disable so I need to understand the behavior before handing off to my client). I’ve adjusted all the artboards. The desired order is Row 1 Left to Right, Row 2 Left to Right (as described in the documentation). All rows have the exact same Y coordinate. All columns have the exact same X coordinate. I made a variant where you can toggle on and off a checkmark. The component has auto alignment so that the text and the checkmark are spaced apart, but when I hide the checkmark, the text centers. Is there any way to keep my text right aligned when I toggle off the checkmark?  Thanks for the help! My components:
