Guys, I recently connected an Library to my working file in Figma Make, but it didn't work out as I'd hoped. Now, I want to completely unlink/disconnect that library so its components, styles, and variables don't affect my future prompts and results. Please help how can I do this ? I cannot see the option to do so

Hi! Please tell me how to fix this? Everything is fine in the browser version, but on the desktop it displays like this.

I’ve created components for an image, badge, and icon. I want to the image size to be adjustable, without it affecting the size or position of the badge/icon. Right now, if I change the image size, the badge/icon get bigger and their positioning is adjusted (eg. 16px away from corner becomes 20px). How could I stop this from happening?

Today I realized a strange problem … wonder, if it is a general Figma issue?! I created a Button and for the hover state with two fills:a dark “main” color on top white, 90% transparentBut the dark color shines trough at the edges.Very strange, because it’s only appear in the present mode, not in the design mode. The scale is always 100% and the objects are snap to pixel grid. Anyone else face the issue?

Hey I noticed few of my friends in my uni got the Figma make access while I did not. Is Figma make and site now available for edu pro accounts for students?

Ich bin mit meinem Google Account angemeldet. Dort habe ich die email Adresse bin***@***bis.de für meinen Google Account. Jedoch habe ich vor kurzem Gmail eingerichtet für meinen Google Account. Deshalb lautet die neue Email Adresse bin.fl****gmail.com. Ich melde mich in Figma mit meinem selben Google Account an der dann jedoch eine andere Email Adresse hat. Meine Design Files sind alle noch da, vermutlich weil sie lokal auf meinem Computer hinterlegt sind. Allerdings habe ich keine Berechtigung mehr diese zu bearbeiten (nur lesen). Also gehe ich auf Berechtigungsanforderung. Dort wird mir eine Mail auf bin***@***bis.de geschickt. Ich klicke dort drauf und werde automatisch in Figma mit bin.fl****gmail.com angemeldet, weil es keinen Account mehr mit bin***@***bis.de mehr gibt. Dann kommt der Fehler dass der User keine Berechtigung für Berechtigungsverwaltung hat. Jetzt weiß ich nicht weiter. Viele Grüße (für email support ist mein Account leider zu arm)

I have worked with figma make and honestly its the best application i have ever used. What its helped me develop is game changing for me as I have dyslexia coding and copy has never been my thing.  Im unsure is the web app i have developed on figma real can the public use it? Security does it have any ? how can i manage users ? How can i see whos using it ? How bigger app can i make ? Is there anyone who can help me it would be super helpful

In my Figma project, I’m using components and color variables. When I clone this project and map it to different colors, everything works fine at first. But when I go back to the main project and add new colors or make adjustments, some of the colors in the cloned project get messed up. How can I fix this issue?

Hello everyone,when changing the state of an instance of a button component with icons, the icons’ color does not change. Also, when switching the icon component within the button with another icon component it does not maintain the button component state’s color, but instead shows the icon components color.I do want the icons to keep the color of the button’s state though. I tried many of the forum’s hints, but none worked out for me. Here is what I did:I used the Material Symbol plugin to pick icons. Then, I created individual components of each icon. Next, I used the Icon Resizer plugin to resize them as variants. Then, I created a buttoncomponent with icons and text with variants of different sizes, states (default, hover, selected) and hierarchies (primary, secondary, ...) as the button component’s properties. I nested the icons to the left and right of the text in the button. When using the Icon Resizer plugin a double instance is created and the original icon renamed as .root-ic

My email account to which I use to get access to Figma has been disabled. The email got disabled and I could not access to Figma as well. Is there a way to regain access to that account? I wanted to post this question here to see if anyone had experienced the same thing. Thank you.

Hi, could you please help me with this?I’d like to switch my billing from monthly to annually. In my settings, I only see the option to upgrade to the Organization plan, but I don’t need that at the moment.Would it be possible to issue me a new invoice with the annual charge instead?

I commute by train and worth in the Figma app en route. The wifi is slow and patchy, so I make sure I open the file I want to work on beforehand while I have a good connection. My issue is that while on the train, Figma sometimes enters a loading state - presumably to autosave - but then hangs in that state indefinitely, even if the wifi is working. So I'm then unable to work until I get off the train.I'm guessing this is because the internet connection is slow, but if so shouldn't it time out and let me carry on editing the file offline?If I close and try to reopen the file, it just hangs again. Any advice on how to avoid this scenario is much appreciated - it's causing me a lot of lost time!

Hi Figma Community,I’m working on my first plugin as an indie designer-developer, and I’ve run into a roadblock with adding media to the plugin UI (ui.html).Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Placing image and video files in my local plugin folder and referencing them with <img> / <video> tags in ui.html. Converting both images and videos into Base64 Data URIs (but this quickly became too large and even crashed my code). I also read about Figma’s CSP and CORS restrictions, which explains why external URLs are tricky. But I’ve seen other plugins that do show images or even video in their UI, so I’m wondering:👉 What’s the recommended way to safely include images or short videos in a plugin’s ui.html while staying within Figma’s sandbox rules?For context, my current files are: Video: 867 KB (MP4/WebM) Image: 19 KB (PNG) Is an 867 KB video considered too large for a plugin UI? Hey everyone! I have just recently got into some more challenging stuff in Figma, and the moving obejst as part of the animation when you click on the some button is what is puzzling me quite a bit.What I am trying to do is move around the objects in the next scenario: I would like, when a user clicks on “OPTION 1”, for infographics object to slide, or roll to the left, while the rest of the options move down or disappear, and then the whole space is filled with text from Option 1 with the button to go back: And ofc, once user clicks on GO BACK button, everything go back to the original position. I tried playing around with Prototype, but so far, it’s only giving me options to create something like this if I click on the object itself, not on a different button or object. Could someone help me with this one, please?

Can you please help me understand why “fill container” is not an option for the selected layer? I’ve looked through all similar topics and they don’t seem applicable. Attached SS of parent and child layers…

I'm unable to type anything when after creating the "area" for the text. Even, I'm unable to edit the previously written texts. I tried using different browsers, but it doesn't work. Finally, I'm not able to use Desktop version, the design doesn't load (same for Firefox).When I try to type something, the F and A selects Frame, T selects the text, in other words, I'm unable to type in the canvas, rather the shortcut keys are working.I used Figma long ago. So, I don't remember anything, and I was able to write only one text; again, I tried to create a new design and tested, but it didn't work. Is there a way to set design mode to be my default? I have a dev seat and am classified in a software engineering role, but for the work I do in Figma, I strongly prefer the design mode navigation. I am needing to manually toggle to design mode every time I bring up Figma.
