We are currently on the Professional plan, but it seems that only five full seats are available.

Since I’m translating from Korean, some parts may sound a bit awkward. Thank you for your understanding.

Our company has five users on the Professional plan, but we were informed that only five full seats are included.

We need three additional full-seat users. I’d like to know how we can increase the number of available full seats or how to assign additional full-seat users.

We’re still a small company, but we expect to add at least 5–7 more users. Could you advise us on how to resolve this situation or suggest the best way forward?

I understand that you’re looking for a way to add additional paid full seats to your Professional team.


Would you like to adjust the number of seats at renewal, or add new seats during your current billing term?

If you’d like to adjust the seat count at renewal, please refer to the “Adjust number of seats at renewal” section of this article:  Manage billing on the Professional plan

If you’d like to add new seats during your current billing term, there are a few options available depending on your situation:

  • If the users are already invited to the team:
    You can change their seat type from the file browser → Admin → People. See: Add new seats during billing term

  • If the users have not been invited yet:
    You can invite them to your team and select the permission when adding them. See: Invite team members

You can also find an overview of all possible seat management options in this guide: Manage seats in Figma
 

Lastly, and most importantly, to help prevent unexpected charges, please make sure that your team’s seat approval settings are set to either “Auto-approve if available” or “Manually approve”, and avoid approving incoming seat requests unless you intend to add new seats to your plan.
