hey, after the latest update of the right menu, where it used to be device selecting to present prototype, I can't change the peresenting device to desktop, even if I'm trying to present 1920*1080 frame.
I’m using Figjam’s Website Flow Chart template and want to place different icons/shapes into the element/content boxes. I can’t easily find a way to do that, and don’t see any details in the instructions. How are these built? Can I make my own?I know how I can manually build my own, and just use grouping, but these elements are a bit more sophisticated than that. The icon seems to be an integral part of the shape, which makes them easier to work with. I just want to put in different icons as needed.
I am trying to purchase three annual professional full licenses and need to submit our Tax Exempt certificate, where do I do that?
Hello, I am a K-12 Physical Education teacher in Ukraine.I submitted the High School domain request for the Figma Education Plan more than a week ago, but I haven’t received any updates yet. I understand that the verification process can take time, and that documents are usually requested directly by the Figma team.I just want to confirm that my application was received successfully and is still under review. Thank you for your time andsupport.
Hello,I am using the figma make to design the project with the help of AI.figma make has ability to link the git-hub to export the project to git-hub repository.also figma make has the console & code files acess.it is good that i can view and edit he files.but i am not able to restructre the directroies inside the code or using the console.if figma can offer the users to get either terminal on figma make appor able to move/delete files in code section will be improve the project development speed alternatively if the figma make extention for the vs code will be the best for users to develop AI based template/project geneartion soltuion.can you help me to know, is that possible?
Hi all,I’m trying out a multi-tenants’ Design System, where I have my Foundations file, Components file and then my final product/prototype file.Every time a new client comes, I duplicate the Foundations and product file, update the Variables (inside Foundations) with my client’s color and typography, publish the library and then swap it in the product file.I only keep 1 Components file as my source of truth.Everything was swapping nicely until I got to the Prototype, and all my buttons look great on a default state, but are still referencing the old library when hovered or triggered.I understand there’s no way to override local variables, and the issue here is that these instances are “phoning home” every time they are triggered.I’ve hit a wall and I’m looking for ideas or ways to solve this, to make this multi-tenant DS be feasible and scalable.Thank you!
My Figma Education Plan was renewed in September , and everything was working normally. However, today my plan suddenly changed to the Free plan even though the renewal date has not ended yet.i have contacted sheer id they said contact Figma so here I am.What do I do ?
Hi, My lecturer has tried and contacted Figma about this problem a few times now, but nothing has helped.I needed to re-verify my student account for my education plan, but no matter what kind of proof I supplied it kept getting denied. Can someone from Figma support contact me about this and help me out? Thanks
Hi everyone,I’m looking for advice on the best way to slim down a large Figma project and create a smaller, more focused design system.I have a Figma file that’s grown quite bloated over time. Ideally, I’d like to: Strip out a subset of master components Keep only the relevant text variables and styles Create a “mini” design system library containing just those components and variables/styles Publish that library Then copy/paste the layouts for the latest build into a fresh Figma file and relink them to this new, lighter library My main questions: Is this actually possible to do cleanly in Figma? What’s the best or least painful workflow to achieve this without breaking too many links? Are there any gotchas with variables, styles, or component references when doing this? My current thinking is: Duplicate the existing Figma file Save one version as an archive In the duplicate, aggressively delete everything except the components, variables, and styles needed for the curr
I want to downgrade from education to starter plan. I don’t see any options.
I work at NSFW Coders, and currently, I’m developing a Candy AI Clone API that focuses on enhancing image generation features through adaptive AI models. The main objective is to combine conversational understanding with text-to-image generation to create a more natural and personalized experience.During the process, I’ve been experimenting with different diffusion models and prompt optimization techniques to improve image accuracy and reduce response time. We’re also exploring how contextual dialogue history can influence image outputs for more human-like consistency.I’d like to hear from other developers working on similar AI systems — which frameworks or optimization tricks have helped you improve efficiency and realism in image generation?
Where is absolute position option is there in Figma in latest version? is the name changed as “ignore auto layout”?
Hi, my invoice is too much 2C71081F-0051
I want to prototype interactive chart components (hover states, filters, time ranges) for a statistics site. What are good practices in Figma for simulating interactivity like this without code?
I’m unable to publish changes to my library. I keep getting a message to reload the page to publish. After reloading, there’s a record that a component was indeed published; but there’s no updates available or any changes on the Figma files where I’m using this library. Any idea what I’m missing or is there an issue?
Hello Figma Team,I am trying to embed a Figma Make design into an external website using an iframe, with a URL like:https://www.figma.com/make/xxx/yyy?node-id=0-1&t=zzz-1. However, the iframe does not seem to load, likely due to Content Security Policy (CSP) restrictions.I have confirmed that Figma Photo (Prototype) can be embedded using the same method without any issues, for example:https://www.figma.com/proto/xxx/yyy?node-id=2-1&starting-point-node-id=2%3B1I have been using the following embed format:https://www.figma.com/embed?embed_host=share&url=${encodeURIComponent(originalUrl)}Could you please let me know if there is any way to embed Figma Make designs via iframe, or if there is an official workaround or recommended approach for displaying Make designs externally?Thank you very much for your support.
Hi Figma Community! 👋I'm a graphic designer learning UX/UI design. I posted here before about responsiveness, and I've been studying and practicing. Now I created a new desktop wireframe and I'd like to know if I'm doing it right before I continue with the full design.I want to check three things: Is my wireframe responsive and will it work on desktop, tablet, and mobile? Am I following Figma 2025 best practices? Will it translate well when I build it in WordPress with Elementor? Can you give me feedback on these specific things? Does my wireframe follow Figma 2025 standards?I want to make sure my foundation is solid so my work translates well when I build it. Any feedback would help me improve. I'm ready to apply what you suggest.I've linked my Figma file below.Figma DesktopThank you for your help! 🙏
Just created a pitch deck using the AI feature and trying to export but it only lets me do File>Local Copy to a .make file. I don’t see any Menu Bar either for the Export function.
I’m having an issue in Figma Sites where I’ve made a custom nav bar with figma make and it works as I intended except for the fact that I can’t actually link to the pages on my site. I only have three buttons “Work”, “About”, & “Contact” and I’d like to functionality to work like so.When the "Work" button is pressed it automatically goes to the page titled "Home". When the "About" button is clicked it automatically goes to the page titled "/about" When the "Contact" button is clicked it automatically scrolls to the component labeled "Footer 1"I’ve had mixed success with the first and last item. Essentially it defaults to the “scroll-to” interaction but only works on the desktop portion of my Home page. When the About button is clicked I either get a black screen or a “Not Found Error Page”. If anyone has insights on how I might achieve what I’m looking for I’d really appreciate it! The base code for the nav bar without the above linking interactions is attached.
I have a component named "Popover Item". On that component I applied a hovered interaction. The layer structures in the component variants are already the same. After that, I inserted the instance of that component into another component named "Popover". Then, I inserted the instance of the Popover component into a "Navigation" component. The prototype runs normally and as expected when I use the instance of the Navigation component on the "Homepage" page. The hovered interaction also works as I imagined. Even when I convert the Homepage page into a component, the interaction from Navigation still runs normally. The problem arises when I create a prototype from the instance of that Homepage component. What's strange is that the icon on the Popover Item instance that I had already overridden to be hidden in the Navigation component, suddenly appears after being hovered. I have checked and I think this is not a layer structure problem. However, of course I can be wrong and miss something.I
Do I have access to Figma sites through my Figma student/education account? Thanks
In Figma Make, is it possible to show a dropdown or display a button when hovering with the mouse?I can see hover interactions working when the button color changes or the design updates, but I don’t see cases where another button appears by overlapping layers on hover. Is this something that can only be seen after publishing?
HelloI’m working on a carousel animation with a smooth transition. I’m having trouble getting it to work quite right — I can make it move from one image to another in one direction of the carousel, but not the other. I want a sliding, drag-style transition between the images. It is supposed to have a round curve on the animation.Thank you in advance for taking the time to read the above. I hope someone can help me.Project link:
I am reading through OAuth support for Figma Plugins: https://developers.figma.com/docs/plugins/oauth-with-plugins/#saving-the-access-token-locally One thing I am confused about is how to handle refresh tokens? Should the Figma Plugin frontend store the refresh token along with the access token and handle refreshing at the proper time, or should the plugin backend store them and handle it? I feel like storing the refresh token in the Figma Plugin frontend is not great for security, since some OAuth providers might require the client secret to be sent along with a refresh request. If the backend handles refreshing tokens, I see a couple of hurdles:do we need to generate a new read key for the plugin to poll? how does the backend know what access token it is refreshing? Do we send in the current user ID or the access token we want refreshed? It also seems to go against what the documentation says, since it states that the server should delete the access token from the server after it has
Could you please let me know if there are plans to make a Figma app for iPads? And if so, when is it expected to be released?I’d really love to be able to work in Figma on an iPad the same way you can on a computer!!!!!
