Hi all,I have a quite serious topic. In my designs somebody changed an email address to a different one, but it was not my team or somebody who has write access to it, our it was not intentionally, or forgot about it. The problem is that we were not able to detect from the history who did it, this change is displayed every version from the history, but it cannot be true, because we checked maximum circa a one and a half week ago, and then the email address was the original one. and now its changed in every version. What can be the problem? Thanks! 

I got the ai in Figma to help me create a document and it’s 11 pages long. It’s got great artwork, design and of course my verbiage. I have no idea how to export this to PDF as a fully illustrated document and it’s driving me crazy. I tried to contact Figma but they told me to come here. Can anyone help if I share the link?

I simply drag and drop a component to inside of another component but didn’t work. I can’t add component as a child element to another component.

Hi! I am looking to verify what file(s) the MCP has access to (i.e. can it see a list of all files on my account / in my org, or can it only access the file that is currently open in Figma Desktop?), and whether the MCP can ever make changes to said files, or does it have read-only access?Thanks!

Hi,I have created a dropdown component with variables where i select option and it update the text in field.But the problem is that when i am using this component in other file and the option text changed then it is not changing the option text when i am opening the dropdown it is showing the basic value that was set in base component open state.In component i set local variable for label (Variable: SelectOption)For each option in dropdown options i set variable option1, option2 and so on Now in other file i am using that component and create some local variables for select option  and options in list. I detach the variable and assign new local variables. But when i am checking it in “Present” mode it is still showing me Option 1 and Option 2 in list

Hello community, I am looking for any information on how working with branches and merging branches has been for you guys. I am currently working with a file that should serve as a single source of truth for other files. It is a design system file with variables and a hierarchy of namings for the variables. We are considering restructuring some of the variable groups and how the group namings are set up. We might group variables into a functionality structure where components that are usually used for input & controls are grouped together, then components that are for content & display are in another group, then components that are usually for navigation are in another group, feedback & status group, layout & structure group, and then maybe an overlays group. We might also regroup typography variables like fontsize, weight, and family into a nested group structure. Some time before in Figma when I did a query on an endpoint:GET curl -H 'X-FIGMA-TOKEN: {token}'  'https://api.figma.com/v1/files/{file_key}' With many others fields the collaborators field was returned in the response where I could get information about the person's email, role and IDBut now I don't see such a field in the responseHas the response body changed over time?And is there an alternative that could be used to get collaborators?

Hello everyone I use the Figma Makes project, it's a very cool thing, thanks to the developers, of course, but it put me in a super awkward position, the layout works, that is, in the preview and where everything is ok to code, but when I publish the site, it's just gray....

Hi Everyone  I have recently paid for a Figma pro plan annual. I was able upload videos on the Figma file no problem, but now I suddenly can no longer upload any videos. It says I need to upgrade to a pro plan. But I am already on that plan. Has anyone experienced this? Anyone in Figma can help with this issue?

Hello community, I ran into a little problem and have a quick question. At first I made this simple text button with variables I configured every parameter on the button with variables and now I can switch button size (with icons, text size, etc.) to S, M, L, XL sizes easily.However if I make split button like this with text button + icon button grouped together, my sizes of S,M,L, XL doesnt work anymore, I have to click every button inside nest and change appearance via variables individually, is it possible to change all grouped elements via variables at once?   

Hi everyone,Just purchased a file, the purchase went through and…. Nothing. The file didn’t open and I can’t find it anywhere. Is there a place in Figma where all the purchases files are listed?  I found the file I ‘bought’ through the Community browser and it still says “Buy for ...”, I can’t download it. I have a receipt.

I just created a new Figma account, but I’ve actually been using Figma for quite a while and am pretty familiar with it. I was hoping to start selling design files through the Community using this new account.But I noticed that the option to sell files isn’t showing up yet. Does anyone know if there are certain requirements before this feature becomes available? Like, do I need to upload some free files first, have a certain number of followers, or let the account be active for a while?

Hello, i have problem, i would to like make a menu for dashboard and prototype it. I would to prototype it like in real menu in programmed live version. So when i select one part in menu then rest part of menu should be deselected, the links of menu should also go to seperate views of application.  I have two buttons and they have same animations. I want to first one has same transition like the second one. The first one has hard transition on corner. I'm confused. You can check from here

I’ve created a prototype which has a few flow starting points for different user testing task scenarios. I typically ask the user to click on the sidebar in prototype mode to jump to the different starting points.I have buttons in my prototype which are positioned center-bottom on the page. When users try to click on them, the “previous frame” and “next frame” buttons from the Figma UI appear and get in the way.If I hide the Figma UI, it gets those buttons out of the way, but also hides the sidebar.Is there a way to hide the “previous frame” and “next frame” buttons but keep the sidebar visible?

I have an instance of a button. The button instance is smaller than the original component for padding and height. (manually adjusted to make the button tighter than in other use cases) I have a smart animate interaction between a default and pressed state on the component-level.On the instance, when I press, the instance animates larger (matching the component-level size) and then back to the size it is supposed to be when the Press finishes (on tap event). I know I can fix this by just removing the “while pressing” event from the instance, but I have the same problem with a button beside it that would take you to another page after tapping, that one stills needs the “while pressing” event. How do I fix this?

I know how to make rollovers and the first (original) rollover card I make works perfectly. When I drag out a new instance of the original and change the image, On rollover I do not get the new image I get the original.The only workaround I know is to make a new components every time I need a new card. Can anyone please help me be suggesting a better/faster way 

Hi community!I create a product card component with 2 variants. And when you hover over it, it will switch to the variant below. Both variants have an arrow, and the arrows have the same name as well as the same place in the hierarchy. They are connected with smart animate. I assume that when you hover over it, the arrow will not have any animation. However, when hovered over, the arrow will disappear and reappear.
