Hey @David Correiam thanks for the follow-up! I’ve merged your two posts together so we can keep everything in one place.

I took a look on my end and can see that you moved the file to trash on Feb 26, 2026, and it was located in the team “FA Group 7.”

I know it can feel really confusing when a file seems to “disappear,” especially if you can still see the name in the top bar. There are a couple reasons why you might not see it in your Trash:

  • If you’re part of multiple teams or organizations, each team has its own separate Trash.

  • If the file was in a different team than the one you’re currently viewing, it won’t appear in the Trash for your other teams.

Could you double-check the Trash section under the FA Group 7 team specifically? That’s where it should be located.

Thank you,

Gayani

Hi! My project has disappeared and shows as deleted, but I didn’t delete it. It’s not in the trash or in drafts — it’s just gone. However, in the small preview window on the top bar, the project still appears as if it’s there, but it won’t load. I also have the link because I shared it with someone, but it doesn’t work either.

Hey @David Correia, thanks for sharing the file link!

It looks like this file was deleted, but not permanently. The good news is that we don't permanently delete files from Figma unless you manually click "delete forever" or if you delete the team or project that the file was in.

You will be able to restore the file by clicking on Trash and locating the file you want to restore. Right-click on the file and select Restore

To see all available files that can be restored, please make sure that you also set the "Created by" filter to "anyone" rather than "you." You, and anyone else who had access to edit that file should be able to find it and restore it this way.

Here's a guide from our Help Center with more information on this: Delete and restore files.

Let me know if you’re able to find the file and restore it!

Hi, thank you for the fast response! I did another ticket, cause in this one I didn’t explain very well. In the other I attached a image and the link to the project itself, not the prototype.

Can you check that ticket please?
(It isn’t in the trash or in the draft… It simple disappeared from everywhere, but it's right there on top bar...)

Hey @David Correia, sorry for the delayed reply. I’m doing well, hope you are too!

So glad you were able to find it and sorry I should’ve mentioned that earlier.

I’m really happy it all worked out and that you didn’t have to redo any work.

Wishing you a wonderful week, too!
