I’ve just upgraded my plan to professional, and while I’m trying to share a design with an external designer, I keep getting an error message saying: “Editors cannot be invited to starter team draft files”. What am I missing? Why can’t I provide an editing permission to a designer, as I’m the file owner?

@ksn Hello, I have using Figma Student for several months, or maybe a year, but currently it is gone, and my account is back to free plan. I didn’t get any email regarding this. So, I went to Figma Educational Plan webpage and I have got verified, it even says “You’re in”. But when I go back to Figma, my account is still on free plan. What should I do?

Hello! Had my 2FA setup in Authy but when I changed my phone lost that Authy settings. I need to reset the 2FA Figma and cannot see from where. Any ideas?

Hello! Thank you for your awesome product! I filled out a verification form for a free license for students (as I am taking a few online courses in GeekBrains school) and it was more then two weeks ago. And since then I had no feedback on my application (I logged on with my google account [REDACTED] as it didn’t let me to use a different one and I out in my Figma email [REDACTED]. I’m worried that maybe I filled out something in a wrong way? Or maybe my application hasn’t reached you? I have just filled out one more form on your website, but now I’m truly worried if it comes through. Could you, please, assist me with that? Thanks a lot!

I am unable to use Figma Pen Tool as it is not working properly. The few times, it draws line when dragged and single clicked, but most of the times it does not. The dragged end must appear round when dragged, however, it turns out to be flat (square shaped) and when I single click, the line disappears. I have tried to use this pen tool on both Browser (Chrome) and Figma desktop Application, but got same issue both the times. I have never used any Design Tool and I am totally new to this field, hence totally frustrated. Please suggest.

Thought I’d find this searching, but nothing’s coming up. I work on a MacBook and want Figma to not open the installed app version, but to open in a chrome browser window. I presume that’s a setting somewhere, but can’t find it. thanks for any help.

I wanted to check if it’s possible to publish plugins and widgets to Figma community if I am a developer from India? I saw on the “FAQs for selling on Community” that India was not a part of the eligible countries for selling resources. Wasn’t sure if this referred to only templates or also to plugins and widgets. Another confusion was if I can’t create plugins that use Payments API, can I still publish plugins that monetize using external payment methods? Please help!

Hey all, I copied an entire component from a file - and I didn’t saw the variables that included in this component - the problem is, now in all my files, I have variables that mean nothing, and I don’t know how to manage my variables library in the image attached, you can see this library that not have any sense

So I have an overlay (Overlay A). I have a dropdown overlay that comes up within that overlay (Overlay B). I want to have a selectable item within that menu that replaces the whole Overlay A. How do I do this? I can only get it to replace overlay B, resulting in two overlays.

I’m terrible at knowing how long I’ve worked on something, as I get lost in designing. It can be difficult to justify time spent if you’re as bad at this as I am. 😦 Many of my documents are weeks and months old. Is there a plug-in or some kind of history tracker I can use to retroactively quantify time moving pixels around, or is this a science fiction question? Tell me I need an hours tracker program and keep records as I work. I’ll brace myself 🥶

Hey guys I have a project I’m trying to get done and the image carousel animation loop I have is stopping for a second before starting again once it loops. I followed this video and have used this technique before and it has been seamless. All of my prototypes are set to after delay 1ms, and I have made sure the images are in the exact same spot when it loops, so I really am lost as to what is causing the issue. Here is a video showcasing my problem. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Hi, i have a few problems with scrolling and zooming in Figma. Zoom and scroll animation is so clanky and feels like i have 30 or 60 hz monitor. My monitor supports 165hz. Other tools like pen and hand tool dont have that problem and work with them feels amazing. Scroll work strange. It scroll with dashes and when i scroll normally it scrolls very slow, but if i scroll a bit faster it starts scroll too fast.

Hello Figma and everyone, I have been using Figma Slides to prepare for a presentation. Couple days ago, when I tried full screen, it wouldn’t actually go full screen but leave some black padding around, but I noticed that when I tried to full screen today, it did go full screen. Looks like Figma is continuously making updates to the software. However, I noticed that when I try full screen, all the vectors appear pixelated and this issue is only when I full screen. I am using an Apple Display Pro. I wonder if this is a known issue? Something about rendering vectors is not perfect. Has anyone dealt with the same issue? I am not sure if this is specific to Apple displays, or all other external monitors. The file itself has no issue, I viewed in on 2 different laptops (Mac) in full screen and everything was good. So it was only observed when I tried to full screen on my Apple display which was not an issue couple of days ago. Please fix this issue as soon as possible! Thank you.

I remember there used to be image tracing option within Figma. Did they remove the option or what happened to it?

Hi All! I’m fairly new to Figma and design, couldn’t find any previous questions on this. Is there a way to work with multiple map layers (in .shp format) within Figma? I am currently trying to recreate a few map layers as part of a social media ad e.g. Satellite map layer, terrain layer on top and place names above that. The aim is to skew a few layers and create a nice 3d effect? Can anyone recommend any platform I can use if Figma isn’t suitable? Thanks!
