Center a triangle in its frame

I must be missing something obvious.
I have created a triangle (using polygon tool) and it’s not centered in its frame. I cannot find which setting to use to center it and it’s messing up my auto-layouts…

In the image above I would like it to be vertically centered instead of laying on the bottom border of the frame.

Flatten it

I tried that but the fact that I’m using the shape as a mask makes it annoying - I would have to recreate each parallelogram…

never mind it was not that painful ! 🙂
Still weird that the shape is not centered in its frame but for my specific use case it was a good enough solution to flatten it.

This is absolutely mental. Just used the triangle tool for the first time… what an abomination of an experience. Nobody wants the bounding box spaced around the shape like this by default.
