Hi everyone.I’m new to Figma and UI/UX design. I’m trying to make a feature table for a product. I made the table which consists of 2 columns and 8 rows and it’s an Autolayout. When I set the width of the cells to “fixed”, the table is responsive to resizing but when adding text to the cell, parts of the text appear out of the frame. Setting the width to “hug content” fixes this issue but this pushes the cells out of the frame and also the table is no longer responsive to resize. Please help :’) 

Was hoping for some clarity in regards to how credit consumption works with an initial prototype design prompt (20 credits) vs an iteration prompt to refine the result? Similarly, how does the credit consumption work with multi-faceted refinement/iteration prompts vs single task based refinements?Thanks 

Hi everyone,I’m facing a confusing issue. A colleague and I are working on the same Figma file, but our Layers Panels look different.As you can see in the attached screenshot, my colleague can see actual image thumbnails (visual previews) next to the layer names in the panel. On my side, I only see the standard generic icons (like the hashtag for frames or the square for rectangles).We are both using the same file, but I cannot find a way to enable this visual preview. Is there a way to turn this on? Could it be related to the Figma version (Desktop app vs. Browser)? Does it require a specific plugin that I might be missing? It would be very helpful to have this visual guide for organization. Any ideas on why this is happening?Thank you!

Hi, would love any help and support possible from the community. I have been using Figma Make constantly for the past 3 months to build an app idea that I have.  Yesterday at 5pm PST figma Make stopped accepting my prompts, it goes from “Thinking”, to “Summarizing chat history….” and then times out with a internet connection error.  My internet is working great, speed tested using other apps.  I am still connected to Supabase and the app still displays and works on the figma screen.  I can’t use the AI Chat at all and am at a standstill.I also noticed yesterday in Figma Make that after my prompts and Figmas response, I use to have a version number of the updated version.  All of a sudden yesterday before this issue I don’t have version numbers anymore.  I have an up thumb, down thumb, and ai icon shat shows how many AI credits I used.Complete side note.  I have been told that my account will start tracking AI credits as of tomorrow.I am not tecnical at all and thought figma Make was a

I submitted Claude Canvas 3 weeks ago, still no updates on timeline. Every time I ask, I get a non-committal vague reply from the support team.  What is going on with their approval process? Figma is become such a bottleneck. Anyone here with recent plugin approval experience? 

Is anyone else having issues with contacting support to resolve issues on their subscription? I’ve reached out to support twice and each time they transfer me to sales but no one follows up. It’s been almost a month of trying to reduce the number of seats on my org subscription before it gets renewed. Any advice on how I can get this resolved ASAP? I really don’t want to get charged again.

Hey all, I am finally getting round to trialing out Code Connect, Figma MCP and the like to see how it all works and if there are any noticeable benefits to these features for my wider team.I had some issues initially setting up, but have finally gotten to the point where I can connect them to GitHub, for testing  purposes I am using the Figma Design System and corresponding coded components. However when connected, I get this error, and I am unsure how to fix it. Has anyone come across this before, and any advice on how to resolve? Thanks!  

Hi,I look after a CodeGen plugin, which my designer colleagues use and they have recently started investigating how to integrate Slots into their designs. Hence, I was looking into adding support to our plugin, but am having trouble parsing SlotNode types - as in the type is altogether not present from the plugin-typings? Is this expected, because it’s still in beta? Or have I missed to update something obvious - apologies if I have!The Figma app is showing the type if I log it to the console, I just can’t add any code to manipulate it.I am on v1.123.0 of the plugin typings.Thanks,Lachezar 

I am unable to locate a similar topic, but I have a client that is using a base component that changes color on hover. I have created the hover using variables for colors. The client will be changing the hover state color for each of the 100+ sites they are using.How can I map the hover color so it is a quick switch from one file to another without affecting the original component? Hoping there is an easy solution. Any help appreciated.

I've been setting up a webhook integration to monitor file changes, and I ran into some confusing behavior with the FILE_UPDATED event. I'm sharing my findings here in case it helps someone else, and to confirm if this is the intended behavior.My Setup:Plan: Professional Plan Authentication: Personal Access Token Scopes: My token has webhooks:write, file_content:read, and file_comments:read permissions. Integration Tool: I'm using n8n (a workflow automation tool) which receives the webhook events. My n8n instance has a public URL and is reachable by Figma. Webhook Event: FILE_UPDATED The Problem:When I selected the FILE_UPDATED event, I expected it to trigger when I made changes to a design file (e.g., moving an object, adding a shape, changing a color). How is everyone handling adding Liquid Glass and M3 to their design systems and variables?We have collections for our primitives and then semantic collections which have our 4 business lanes as modes, including light and dark for each. Currently 6 total modes. Now we need to add in Liquid Glass as well as Material 3 and those will also need light/dark mode.

I’m trying to map a Figma Site to the subdomain cook.tastemade.com. The DNS records are properly configured, but I get the below Error 1000 when trying to access the site. The custom domain status says “Awaiting certificates” in Figma even though it has been several days. 

Hi, How do I paste the blue frame in between About and How? The entire frame A is using auto-layout. Using ctrl+C and ctrl+V. Is it possible? I know I can use mouse click and drag in then it will sit perfectly in between. But what if I wanted to use keyboard keys?If i click on About and paste, blue frame will be nested inside About frame which is what I don’t want.Another way is to select any frame, hit Shift+Enter to go to parent frame A, However this will make the blue frame pasted at the end of frame A, imagine i have 10 rows, I’ll need to press arrow key up until it’s positioned on the 3rd row. Thanks!

Hello, We are planning to transfer a project from one company to another. The previous company that has been working on this project is planning to deactivate the account that holds admin privileges for the organization containing the project. They also mentioned that the domain associated with the admin account will be deactivated. I think that the organization itself needs to be transferred as-is in order to preserve existing comments and maintain library connections. Although we have already changed the owner of the projects within the organization to the new party taking over, we have not been able to change the admin of the organization itself.  If the domain of the admin account is deactivated, will the projects within that organization also be deleted? If the organization is deactivated, is there any way to transfer or change the admin of that organization?
