Hello, I am currently trying to embed an iframe on a Sharepoint site and I want to remove the Figma UI. I have previously been able to do this by simply amending the url with %26hide-ui%3D1 but now this doesn’t work. I have noticed that the entire iframe embed code is different now. like I compared the code I have for a prototype that is currently live and has the UI removed, but when I compare it with the embedded code that Figma gives me for that same prototype now, its completely different. Please help! TIA

I’m trying to be efficient with how many variables I have. I have buttons and dropdowns that contain the same content - hence using a component. When a dropdown for example is placed on different page layouts, I want the user to click an element, have it expand (using a variant of the component) and when the user selects option in the dropdown, they’re navigated to another page… but for each mockup page, the location changes. I thought I could simply set the ‘navigate to’ to go to a variable string, so I could change it on the fly. But that’s not possible. What’s another way to do this, without having 50 copies of my dropdown just so I can send each scenario to the right location.

Hi, I have a team in education plan. Now we’re all graduated but we need those design files. After the education plan expired, I want to upgrade my team to professional plan but Figma doesn’t allow it, we can only choose to upgrade to organization plan which is too expensive for us. And now we cannot access or download or move our file to a new professional team (I plan to buy one if Figma allows to move the old files into the new team). Is it true that we can only upgrade to the organization plan from education plan, or this is just a glitch? Please help me here T_T

Why am i not receiving login link mail from Figma in my outlook account? That account was my work Figma account and all my design files are in it and im unable to login, everytime i try it shows a message that a link has been sent, but there isnt any mail. If anyone can please help me out, please do it. This is a really urgent issue as I have clients waiting for their designs and out of nowhere I can’t access this account anymore…

I am pretty new to figma so any help is appreciated. I have created a very tall page that you can vertically scroll. I can add comments but only the top comments are viewable. Any comments applied to the bottom half don’t appear at all when prototyping. If you scroll down in the prototype, comments that only apply to the top are still displayed but overlaid now on the wrong elements.

Trying to stretch the limits of what Figma can do by creating a tender like swipe (left->delete, right->apply, down->save) The page content is dynamic based on variable modes. There is a chart on the page that also needs to change with the mode. Is it even possible to handle this within Figma, or am I on a fools errand here.

Hi there! I have a Project I’d like to transfer from my education plan, to my pro plan. I’ve inputted the URL correctly, but no matter what I do, the “request transfer” button always stays disabled… Can I transfer a project from an education plan? Or am I missing something? Thanks so much!

Hello all I have created a design system for a suite of websites which will all utilise the same components in some way or another. But they will all need a different colour palette. My design system includes colour styles set up so that all the components created within the system use this palette (labelled “primary”, “secondary”, “accent” etc.) Then I start a new project, import my design system and add all the components I need. Here’s where I am stuck. I now want to change all the colours in the new project to a local colour palette (all labelled the same). But I dont want to change it on the design system, because I will use the design system multiple times for websites, all with different colour schemes. I need to somehow convert the colours brought in through the design system to the local colour palette. And what would be even more amazing, would be every time I drag in a component from the design system, it automatically converts to the local colour style equivalent! Any way o

I am using the free version and also a paid version (Professional team license). I have seen this message coming up lately and it is bothering me. I am not able to create large files with many screens. I used to work in an organisation where we used to have large files and I have never seen this message. Is this something that comes in free version and professional license alone and not in the organisation and enterprise plans? Please help…

Hello, I am a facilitator who is looking for a new whiteboard now that Jamboard is sunsetting. One of my favorite features of Jamboard is truly anonymous sticky notes. I found an OLD forum on this, but nothing recent. Is it possible (now) to have anonymous sticky notes. I’m a high school teacher using FigJam as an interactive board to go through my slides and do activities. Unfortunately, this means some students end up spamming with stickers or doodles which has been distracting. Are there features where I can limit their use of these without setting them to ‘view only’? The features I’ve been using so far with students are the post-it notes, filling in tables, and using sections to allocate their digital workspace. Thank you!

Hi, I’m trying to re-verify my educational plan for the account I have now, which is created with my google account (I have had the education plan here for 4 years already), since I still have one more year left of my studies. I’m not allowed to get my account re-verified because my e-mail is “not a student mail”. This is a very new constraint from implemented by Figma. Since they have not had this constraint for the education plan earlier, I have always used google account. That’s why I now have all my university projects, and all my internship projects as part of my university degree in this account. It will be a huge problem and struggle for me to transfer all of it to a new account (official student mail account) because there are so many, and I will have to get so many people who have shared files with me to re-invite me individually to all the files. I will also continue some of my projects after my studies, which would mean I would have to re-transfer them all back to my google

Actually, only 1 user needs the project. So I removed 2 users I shared the project with after searching around across the entire account to downgrade my subscription without success. Now, I’m doing my monthly admin and notice that Figma charged for 3 users instead of 1. Hello, This is a screenshot taken from macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 using the native iOS Simulator This is what happens as soon as I upload it to Figma, the alteration remains also after exporting it The difference is pretty consistent, the alternation is clearly visible and this is a huge issue for us. Has anyone ever encountered and fixed this issue? Is Figma working on this issue? I guess we are not the only people working on iOS Apps, we are doing pretty standard and simple steps, taking a screenshot and then uploading it to Figma. I have created two variant collections, the first includes all the core brand Colours, the second contains all the colour tokens. I want to move the colour tokens collection to make it become a group under “Colours”, but I can’t “move” it and I can’t find options for that. Does anybody knows?
