So i see this issue still persists.

When i change the component in my library that is a separate file and i publish changes, in my design files i can see that the component in assets panel shows the updated version but but not across my design layouts. And still I do not get the prompt window where i can review the updates and changes.

i have cleared the cache in my desktop app.

Any one has the same problem?

Thnx everyone

ok, not sure of this is a new thing or a workaround but to make it all work as before, in my design file when i go to assets in dialog box header UPDATES tab appears. it recognizes the changes and gives an option to update changed/modified components across the whole file…

Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out. There was an update around Library update in March. After the change, when updates are available for a style, component, or variable on the current page, the Libraries icon in the top toolbar will display a blue badge. The popup windows doesn’t appear any more.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any further questions!

Thanks,

Thnx so much for the reply. Now i can see that. I do not get the UX of this at all but as long as it works that is great.

Thnak you once more.

I have issues with updates not displaying in my file after updating it. It shows assets updated successfully, but it still doesn’t show. The updates come from a different file where I have my design system and where I create/update components for the file, and then I push to this new file.

This started today after the update to the side panels being restored to the edges.

Please help
