Hi! Sorry for my bad english, but I noticed a bug in my Figma file. I hope someone could help!! I built my components on a dedicated file and published the library. When I use my component in another file related to the library it doesn’t show the component as it should be. When I clic on it, the component updates itself immediately. Hello, I’ve noticed a bug after the recent Figma update. I’m using a MacBook Pro running on macOS Sonoma 14.2.1. Figma no longer recognizes the left click on my mouse, even within documents. When I manage to open a file, I’m unable to interact with it properly, especially with deep selections. While using Command + Left Click, I can select elements, but I can’t edit text, for example. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Uninstalled and reinstalled Figma Restarted my computer Nothing seems to work. Can you help me with this issue?

Hi Figma community, We are a small business with 15 seats with the Professional team and we want to move only 2 seats to Enterprise, instead of moving the whole 15 seats. I have an existing account using my company email with the R&D department at work. I need to create my own account in my marketing organization so we can separate the billing and admin responsibilities, but FIGMA won’t let me “add account”. I end up in an endless loop of loggin gin to create a new account only to be directed to my existing account. I don’t want to delete my existing until I have the new account to migrate all of my files to. FIGMA support has been useless, sending me irrelevant articles that do not address my issues, and finding a phone number to cal a human is a UX case study in what not to do … help.

As the title says, we are in the process of moving all olur files from individual drafts to team space (paid version). i am owner in project file and have edit access in team space but i cant move project file to team space… **> When I click move on the file ** > Current Location : X(*) 's Drafts > You can’t move files that are in another person’s Drafts. (*Person X is no longer working with us and has made me owner on the files as they leave. ) I need your help to put the files back together.

Hello, I have an educational account and I want to move the team with all projects and files to professional license account, is there a way to do that?

I have a lot of files in ‘Drafts to move’ folder in the sidebar. Are these files still going to be there after my Education Plan expire or should I move the files to ‘Drafts’ folder in one Team project folder that I have? Or is it better to create Starter Team Project now and move all the files into Drafts folder for this project. Additionally, is the prototype functionality available in Starter Plan? I have few links on my portfolio website that refer to the prototype links and I am just trying to avoid a situation where the links become broken after the downgrade. My Education plan expires in 3 days so please advise asap. My apologies for the rush.

Components appear misaligned until clicked into. Then they revert back to looking misaligned after some time. I’ve attached a screenshot of what I’m talking about.

Every time I’ll go to write a text with accents the application stop on this character with accent and start a loop, rewriting every caracter, I can’t continue to write the word. 2. Are you able to consistently reproduce it? If so what are the steps? Yes, write “línea” with the keyboards letters (l+'+i+n+e+a). As far as i know, this bug is only happening with this specific accent (acute). 3. Share a screenshot, recording, console log, link to the file, etc. Youtube link of the recording. 4. Is the issue only happening in desktop app or a specific browser , or both? Both. Only happening in FigJam. 5. Hey everybody! Has anyone been able to access and use the AI Beta with a Starter (free) account? If not, are the AI features showing for you on a paid account? I see that Figma has AI Beta Features available, and I’ve reviewed their documentation for it. Unfortunately, the AI feature does not show in my toolbar. So, I am curious if I need to do something (beyond the settings to enable AI) to access it, or if I need to do something like upgrading my plan to get access to the AI Beta. Thank you!

I’ve lost access to a file while switching the accounts. Now tapping “send request” doesn’t help anyhow. There is no request in any of the two emails even though I have access to both of the accounts.

At one level, that makes sense, since in the browser, the address bar contains a link to the current version. However, what I’m looking for is the current version such that it includes the current version-id. For example - https://www.figma.com/design/:fileId/FileDescrition?version-id=5662857941&node-id=1-3304&node-type=canvas&t=:anotherId By copying the address bar value, the version-id is not included. And if the design changes, then the URL that was copied from the browser address bar no longer reflects what I was looking at the time I earlier copied it. It’s amazing being able to use the apple pencil to sketch in FigJam on the ipad! But the text input doesn’t appear to support the scribble feature for the apple pencil. “Scribble” lets you write text into any text input with the apple pencil and have it convert handwriting to text. It works well in most applications I’ve tried, however not in FigJam. The worth of the feature is that you don’t have to switch from pencil input to typing just to enter a few words of text. This works in the UI, but not the canvas, btw.

UI2 seemed to have a better sense of what I wanted to click and grab, generally favoring Frames—making moving frames easy/intuitive. And if I wanted to select a deeply nested object of a frame—I hovered over and used Command+Click In UI3, it seems to only select the hovered object. Which makes targeting/selecting the parent frame very difficult and annoying at times (especially if there’s not much padding). Are people also seeing this? Can I restore the previous click/command+click logic? (Sorry if repost, but I searched quite a bit)

Hi, I’m working on Figma and it’s prolonged and unusual… It opens very slowly and takes a full 2-3 long minutes to go between PAGES or crashes. There is no change in the way I work. Deletes images and components or things that may be heavy… Just unusually slow. What to do? Has this happened to anyone else? 🙏

I want to use Figma for vscode but after logining in the loading keeps going on and the files or projects on my account are not displayed.

I have a file that is used as a library for many files and I don’t want to break the connected. I need to transfer the file ownership to me from a previous team member who has design edit access on my team account and created the Figma file. If someone is on my team and I am an admin is there a way I can transfer the ownership or with the original designer have to do so?

Is anyone else experiencing that Figma is acting very sluggish? Checking the memory, it’s not using that much and I don’t have very large files. It lags when I hold down spacebar and move around, it lags when going from one page to another, it lags when I perform various tasks such as export components to SVG. In general, it lags a lot.
