As an admin I tried to make the project view-only but selected access as “Disabled”. Now even I can’t see the project. All files inside it are still available in the Recents. Is there any chance to revert this change? As usual, Figma support is silent.

I created a more complex variable system where the prototype simulates a card machine. However, on my local machine, all the variables are displayed and updated. When I share the project with other devices or people, some variables are not updated or displayed, which prevents my prototype from working properly. Could anyone help me with this issue? Could it be related to hardware or caching?

Is it possible to use variables to prototype multi-frame navigation in a prototype? What I seem to have found is that any interactions I apply to the full_screen instances suppress all interactions done in the main component. Prototyping Example.fig (30.4 KB)

We have recently moved our Business Plan from Professional to Organization. Now, we would like to move some files that are stored in local Free Teams into this Organization. While being an owner and admin of the teams respectively, when pressing “move file” on the file in the free plan, I do not get the option to move the file to any Team inside the Organization, but only to other Free Teams. I have stumbled upon this thread Moving projects from one organization to another which sounded like only Figma themselves can do this type of “migration”. So in the end, I am asking: Is it possible at all for me to move a file from a free team into an organization - without manual export/import? If not, I would request the following features: Please extend the documentation in this regard Please include this information as a prompt BEFORE one changes their plan from Professional to Organization, stating that one should move all local files into the team (if it is the Organization Plan that restr

Hi everyone, We have designed our sales deck in Figma and downloaded it with the plugin Super-PDF and then compressed with smallpdf.com. On my Mac it looks perfect in Google Chrome, Preview etc. However, there seem to be problems to open it on Windows in Adobe Acrobat Reader. First, on some pages Adobe shows the error "An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem. " Additionally, the layering does not seem to work correctly. Specifically, I have created a mockup of a phone screen with the iPhone frame laying on top of the phone screen to provide the border. This is correctly shown on my Mac but not Adobe. Looking forward to your ideas on how we could fix this or at least investigate reasons. Thank you!

I am trying to have 2 text that sit under one another: A title and body text. When clicking on auto-layout and clicking on vertical - it display the text beside one another. Yet when I click horizonatal - it displays the text on top of each other. Please help

I’ve designed a motorcycle entirely from vectors shapes and to get both side symetrical I created a component for the left half of the content and then duplicated it and flipped it horizontally to create the other half. Now I want to merge the two sides together into a single shape. Some shapes have a stroke which is creating an unwanted line down the middle. I have duplicated both sides of the design and detached them from the original component and I am going object by object trying to combine the two seperate sides of each into a single vector. The difficulty I’m having is that when I delete the lines that sit between the two shapes, the fills on both are deleted. Some fills have taken time to get right and include a base colour and one or more gradients. I have tried adding new joining lines between the two sides and then deleting the ones that are now unecessary but the fills always vanish. Collaborating with designers who have already obtained licenses from other teams is becoming even more challenging; now, libraries are not allowed to share privately across teams. Just want to get advice on how to make cross-team collaboration more smoothly? (Assuming buying additional licenses under our account is not the only option)

Hi there! I’m facing an issue while working for a cliente. We are currently working on our Figma (org) and they have their own Figma (org). We are using a public design system that is publishing among the communities resources. The library is both published on our org and their too. The project is closing so we are trying to transfer everything to them. At first we are trying with the “send a copy” feature. They correctly receive the workspace and looks like all the components are able the relink to the library in their org, except for some of them that Figma shows as “local components” (we didn’t use any). We can’t make it work and don’t know what’s actually happening. Every kind of support is appreciated! Thanks, Danny

Hello, I am a student from Kazakhstan and my place of study does not issue Figma. I am studying software development and I really need Figma.

Imported files are taking up too much of the memory, so is there a way to find which component is causing the issue? Is there a way to remove the imported status of a component and convert the imported component into a native component to that file to avoid the memory issue?

I’m new to Figma, and I’m curretly getting this message when i open the program “Limited access: To create new files, switch to a plan where you’re a full member”. I’m supposed to be on at student plan, and thought that would give me access to creating files. Am I wrong, or do I need to do something else? Thanks!

I am trying to fix a navigation bar at the bottom of the screen; after I chose to fix it in position under prototype, the nav bar disappears in the present mode. How do I fix this?

Hello Figma Community Team, I need assistance with my embedded Figma prototype on mobile via Framer. While the mobile version appears fine when viewed on the Framer canvas, it looks cropped when accessed through my published page at Natasya Gunawan Portfolio. Additionally, I noticed that the iPhone 15 Max is not included in the prototype. On desktop, everything appears to be working perfectly, so I’m unsure what’s causing the issue. I would greatly appreciate your help with resolving this. I am trying to fetch all the versions of a file using the Rest API endpoint - GET/v1/files/:key/versions But I am getting only the latest 25 versions. How can I fetch all the versions of a file? Thanks in advance.

I have a 3 page interactive instagram “drag on” carousel. I don’t know how to export it. I created an 1080x1080 p interactive carousel and want to export it and post on instagram. So that when someone swipes left or right manually, the interactions work live. But I am unable to export it as 1 single file. I don’t want a mp4 or GIF. I want a file that i can post but the interaction must work only when people drag it as a carousel on instagram. Can someone help? Is there any plugin for downloading the Flow directly to system in 1 single file that is compatible with instagram?

I know this isn’t exactly what Figma was made for, but I created a scrolling carousel of images by creating a component and adding an interaction in the prototype menu. I’d like to use it for social media, but can’t export it as .mp4 or .mov to do so. Is there a plugin or workaround that’s not just screen recording (really diminishes the quality) to export a frame that contains an animation as video?
