We have developed a plugin called “Dualite” for Figma and want to publish it, but when I try to publish, I get an error saying, “We detected a change to your account details. Please contact support@figma.com to publish this plugin. Please resolve at the earliest. Our major critical update is due.

I have a lof of drafts. Today I duplicated a draft and it says after the copy and it goes into edit mode: You don’t have access to this file. If I try to move it, it shows that it’s not located in DRAFTS at all, but in “Another user’s folder” and I can’t duplicate, edit or do anything. So did Figma turn off unlimited drafts now? This would be a pretty weird way to do it?

I’m wanting to import a 3D model I downloaded from SketchFab into my Figma Prototype. I’m using anima to embed the code into my Figma project. But, Anima really just generates the code snippet, and I want to preview it as a part of my Figma prototype. Anyone know how to do this? Here is a video explaining my question: Vidyard

This just started happening. When I go to the Figma home tab, it never loads, nor does it show an indication that it’s trying to load. Reloading the tab, restarting: nothing helps. Internet is fine, and design tabs that I have open load fine So, no access to any of my files, except (thankfully) open design tabs. Using Figma Mac client, no updates available. Here’s what I see:

I can’t seem to edit the text on a file without the font being installed. Given all i need to do is text changes I just want to check I’m not missing something? In Adobe for example if I don’t have the font it just doesn’t look right, but I can still edit the content without it. It feels like it shouldn’t be this hard? I leave how it looks to someone else anyway! 😃 (I’m dealing with the font issue separately, and that’s partly an issue with installing software being controlled by my company, so that’s not my question!) Hey, I have developed and published several plugins and widget with my organization account. I will leave my company, and I need to transfer the ownership of some plugins and widget to my private account, because there will be no one who will maintain them after I left. How can I achieve that?

I have set a rectangles constraint to ‘right’. Now i want to edit the x position of the rectangle from the right side, but the input field for ‘position x’ always reflects the x position from the left side. Is this a bug? Or is there another way to position the rectangle i.e. exactly “10px from the right side of the parent frame”?

Hello Figma Team, I’ve encountered a potential bug when using the background blur effect in my project. Here’s a brief description of the issue: Issue: When applying a background blur effect on a rectangle (with specific blur settings), the effect doesn’t appear as expected when layered with other elements, such as a button. Steps to Reproduce: Create a frame for an iPhone 16 Pro Max. Insert an image as the background. Add a rectangle with the following properties: Fill: #000000 20%, Effect: Background Blur (200). Add another rectangle on top for a button with Fill: #333333 20%, Effect: Background Blur (20). The first rectangle (with a stronger blur effect) does not display correctly once the second rectangle (button) is added above it. Expected Behavior: The background blur effect should remain visible and function as intended, with the first rectangle’s blur effect still visible behind the button. Hi all. I am using the new variables modes for light and dark mode. When I switch my designs to dark mode, it all looks great until I click on the prototype present. On the prototype, some of my components are showing up as still in light mode even though on the figma file they appear to be in dark mode.

I received a payment that exceeded what I planned for. The plan I intended to purchase was just the Editor 1 seat. so i require a refund for 2 seat from 3 seat.

Hi there, somehow the prototype feature is not working anymore. When I select prototype and then select a button, it won’t show the small “+” at the border of the button anymore. I used Figma for over a year now - did anything change recently?

Hi all, I’ve reviewed all previous topics and suggestions for fixing this issue, but unfortunately, the problem persists. cleared cache and restarted the application restarted my laptop placed the required library file in the same Figma account (group) as the project None of these solutions resolved the issue. Moreover, I cannot connect the required library, as the system cannot find it. This is happening despite the library and working file being in the same account and even in the same Figma files. I would appreciate your help in finding a resolution.

Hi! I’ve been cleaning my old projects and teams. And deleted all of the teams. I was sure only the projects that belong to those teams will be gone but after deleting the last one i coundn’t find anything from the last half a year. Neither in drafts, nor in trash. Nowhere. I can only see projects i’ve worked on half a year ago. How do i restore the rest? I probably didn’t know the files from the last half a year belong to one of the deleted teams

Hi everyone, I think I’ve found a bug with the new variations feature. When selecting a frame and switching between variable modes, the icon colour for a component does not update correctly. Context: I’ve recently implemented variations within my design system to enable me to toggle between two different styles instantly (similar to light vs dark mode). I am designing a white label product so this feature is saving me a lot of time re-styling the typography, colours, etc every time I do a new design. I have been able to do this with icons, so that they switch to a different icon set when I apply the variable mode change (I loosely followed this guide here: How I link my Icons with Figma Variables | by Praveen Nalakurthi | Medium). Everything is working as intended, HOWEVER, when I go to change variable modes the only thing that does not update is the icon colour. The icon itself changes correctly but the colour defaults to the icon colour in my design system, despite me having applied

I’m loathed to post this because Figma is becoming a time sink and nothing ever gets fixed, sh!t just gets bolted on with very poor testing and planning to avoid fallout. It’s the new Sketch, Photoshop, you name the bloatware, Figma is it. Having a group elements in a container that i want to apply auto layout to, let’s say a simple row with cells, doesn’t matter. I have the row, I apply auto layout… yet now I have auto layout of one item with the rest being absolutely positioned. The container element with the background and shadow is now within the auto layout and the rest sit on top with some arbitrary position. This is garbage. Manually fixing this retroactively to the elements is a massive waste of time. Figma is becoming a massive waste of time. There was an update that changed this behaviour. Previously the container element would be applied as the background, and the contents would be auto-laid-out as you’d expect.

I would like on click to swap an icon (from plus to minus). Is there a way to do it? I can create variable to basically anything, but it does not let me do it on the icon instance. Any thoughts?

I created variables in the system so that we can easily switch the typography mode of a frame from mobile to desktop. And I connected these variables to the text styles. The frame typography does change when switching to desktop. However, on side panel, the mobile size is still displayed instead of desktop size even after switching to desktop mode, and this is very confusing for the team. Please provide a solution for the same.
