Hello i would like ti put in a scrolling page, a video fixed in his place, but i want that while scrolling the video start to play forward or backward depending on the scroll direction. It is possible to make this in Figma? Thank so much for any help. Antonio

Hi all, As part of the ISO27001 process, a section in the audit requires us to provide RTO and RPO times for our software that we use daily. I can’t seem to find this information about those times for Figma. Does anyone here know the timings for these? Thanks!

I cannot find a clear explanation of how it is handled in Figma billing if a company pays for an annual account for a designer, and the employee leaves. It does not look obvious to me that the license is a seat license. Like…how do I assign that seat to the new employee for the rest of the year paid for? We can’t just lose the rest of the year that we paid for because an employee leaves right? Has anyone dealt with this? @Figma can you explain how this works? Thanks.

Hi, our team is switching from Sketch to Figma and we’re having a hard time time figuring out what the best course of action is. Currently we have found that, In sketch, we have to copy all the components (Symbols in sketch) into the according design file and than just import this file in Figma to make sure all connections betweens instances and components don’t break. However we don’t really know how to get the components out of the design file and into their own library file that we can than publish without breaking all the links. Is there an easy or a proper way to do this?

Hi, I was working on Figma on IPad,Chrome browser. But after the latest IPad update copy and paste option doesn’t work properly. When I try to copy&paste a frame, it only pastes the text on it, but not other features. I tried turning the IPad off and on again, I tried different browsers, nothing seems to work. Since last Friday (December 6th), all the projects in my account (which is an account under the company’s domain), the texts are not appearing on the Figma board. When I play the prototype, all the texts appear, but, being in Figma, on the Figma board, nothing appears. I’ve already cleared the cookies, memory, restarted the PC, and nothing happens. If I log into the project with another account, everything is normal. What can I do?

Everything is redlined, but no suggestions. It is driving me nuts. Any ideas why is this happening?

Hi All, Looking for a monitor to work with my M1 2021 MacBook Pro to use with Figma. Can anybody recommend any as my back is hurting being hunched over all day. I have seen so many monitors but I just don’t want to blurry fonts and lines. It’s not for gaming. Thanks

Hello, I want the ‘Request for Quote’ button and its background to fix position when scrolling. I manage to get it “fixed” in the prototype tab, but it then this button doesn’t appear in prototype mode. Please see pictures. I’m not sure if I’ve set up constraints properly or not. It’s a long screen, so I don’t want it right at the bottom of the screen, I want it stuck at the Y 756 axis point. Not sure if its an auto layout issue either since I thought absolute position could override any issues with auto layout and fixed-position elements when scrolling. Thanks.

Hi everyone! Does anyone know of a plugin or method to make editing text variables in Figma more efficient? In our project, all texts are linked to variables, each with modes for translations into multiple languages. The issue is that there are a lot of variables, and finding the right one in the tree structure takes a considerable amount of time. Additionally, some text strings are quite long and include paragraphs, making it very inconvenient to edit them in the single-line variable table. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I have Figma installed but each time I open it, it tells me I need to update. I click update now and nothing happens but I can’t open certain files due to this. I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled several times but it’s still going on. Can anyone help?

Recently, Figma has been freezing when I open it on my desktop. Although I can work online through the browser, I prefer using Figma on my desktop. I switched to Figma from XD and am trying to adapt to it as my primary design tool. I initially thought the issue was due to macOS Sequoia since I recently upgraded, but even after downgrading my OS to Sonoma, the problem persists. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Figma to see if that resolves the issue but to no success.

I have a table of some processes and i wanted to keep it clean and non distractive so the default state of table rows emphasize only what is important. Once you locate the point of interest and you hover the the state of certain elements should change. I am searching solution trough variables and conditionals i guess but i never used them before. I know the old variants solution but its not practical because i will need more than 20 different states. here is the image of the elements for better understanding. Status have 7 stages and each in 2 states (Default and Hover) Action have also 4 options with 2 states as well

Hi All, I am trying to embed a Figma Prototype into a Webflow created website and have it still be responsive at different breakpoints. All the support I have seen online is not addressing the issue for me. Using the embed code from Figma and changing the iframe settings width and height to be 100%, the prototype still remains it’s fixed dimensions and does not scale with screensize. I have also tried containing it within a div block class and modifying the dimensions/scaling of the div block. Everything I have tried just results in it being cut off and cropped without any scaling to the actual prototype. Any advice on how to get a an iframe to be responsive in Webflow would be greatly appreciated.

It somehow knows it was launched from a program. And, since I am using this program to automate some interactions with linkedin, this information is passed along to linkedin which prompts me that it requires I login. Hello, I’m experiencing an issue with the sticky navigation. When I click on an anchor link that is part of this navigation, it doesn’t scroll to the bottom of the sticky nav as intended; instead, it jumps to the top of my frame.Ive tried playing with the offest with the anchor link itself but no luck. Hello Figma Team, I had an idea for a feature that could simplify working with duplicated pages in Figma. When designing, I often need to duplicate a page to show elements like popups or slight variations. The issue arises when I make changes to one of these pages—I then have to manually update all the other duplicated pages to keep them consistent. What if there was a feature called “Frame Mirroring”? A “mirrored” frame would allow users to create linked duplicates of a page. Changes made to one mirrored frame would automatically reflect in all other mirrors. It would function somewhat like components but designed specifically for entire pages or frames, with flexibility to add unique details if needed. I think this could save time and ensure consistency, especially for workflows involving iterative changes across multiple pages. Hi designers, If I want to add the prefix variants to my Button component in the design system, should I create the Prefix component like in the uploaded image? or create another variants within the Button component that has the prefixes: varient1: has the prefix1 varient2: has the prefix2 which one is the best practice for creating buttons in design system? I appreciate any help you can provide.
