I plan to invite them as editor them to specific files only and not to the team. Will Figma still count them as team seats and charge me? This is assuming I have a pro plan setup and I am currently the only member in the team.

Hi, I am a beginner in figma.  My text looks very transparent although I have Fill and Stroke on 100 %. How can I change it, that my text “Über mich” is less transparent?I have tried and searched but I cannot figure it out. Can anyone help me please, what do I have to change?Best regards, Oli

I have just upgraded to Professional because I want to enter dev mode to edit someone else’s files.When I try to do that, I get a message saying, “Upgrade to work in dev mode”.I have upgraded. This works on my own files, so why not on this?If the response is that the owner of the file also needs a Professional plan(I don’t really know how the ownership thing works in Figma), then I am going to be quite upset, since that is clearly a scam. There is no reason other than to take more money from people for organising the system in that way.So hopefully that is not the reason – what am I missing?I have Professional plan, I should be able to open any file I like in dev mode?

Hello! I am evaluating the use of Figma or other design tools for our startup, I cannot access AI Tools in Figma, how do I get access to them for the purpose of evaluation?I have seen the responses that you are rolling out the features & just wait, but We need to choose a design tool rather soon & many are asking for AI Features, Should we just choose another alternative to Figma which has AI for now? 

I’ve noticed that SVG export sizes have gone from around 20KB up to 800KB. Whatever changes have been put through in the last month is effecting it’s usability for the web exports. Our site has a banner limit of 100KB and SVG has been an invaluable resource in meeting these restrictions. However, within the last month when I exported suddenly I am seeing consistently large file sizes of close to 1MB (800KB) for an image comprised of a single background colour and text. This needs urgent attention as it basically makes Figma useless for any vector artwork.

Hi,I am trying to swap an object in my component instance (pizza icon) with another object (noodle icon). I tried using Shift + I (Swap Instance) but for some reason it doesn’t work. Could anyone know how to work around this? I couldn’t drag the noodle icon into the component?I tried putting it in front of the component but it stayed behind? 

I found the following thread: Prototyping "Navigation + Scroll" | Figma Forum but it’s pretty old so perhaps it was posted before the interaction layering came out.That said I just tried layering a “Scroll To” interaction after a Navigate interaction, and it’s not working.Note the Y-Offset, which is how I’m targeting where to scroll to. I tried it with and without the two State management checkboxes checked, to no avail. Has anyone gotten this to work? The desired behavior would be to mimic navigating to an html anchor in a web page (you don’t just load the page but scroll to where the anchor is). This is a pretty basic web interaction so I’m thinking this should be possible in Figma, especially with the interaction layering functionality. 

Hi all, Newish to Figma and trying to find the best way to create a component or variables for what’s essentially a multi pick-list for users. Use Case, “I want to reserve an office space from 4:00pm - 6:00pm” and a second office from 11am-12pm” For Figma prototype, when I click on one of these boxes I want it to stay in the turquoise state. Would I just make all of these buttons? Here is the design: Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you!

My images are scaling smaller when dragged into figma - WHY? Top image is a screen grab of the website Middle image is the file dragged into Figma (viewing at 100%) Bottom Image is the Website Look at the font sizes in these jpgs - Its impossible to map 1to1 when this is happening - HELP!

Hello. I am somewhat new to Figma but would love to incorporate this animation into my prototype.I need an object (a block of text) to become smaller only when the user pushes and holds another button on the interface.So to begin, the screen is static with some text and a button, then the user presses the button and the object (text) begins to shrink. Then, when the user releases the button another screen is triggered. Is this possible? If so, I haven’t been able to figure it out. I apologize if this is easy and a waste of everyone’s time. It’s not like the usual animations people create so I’ve had a hard time figuring it out.

How do you set a thumbnail for the at the Project Level? Not at the file level but the Project  

I need to recreate this effect to show it to a client, the effect goes like this: I click the "Confirm" button; The current content of the page summaries in a card; It stays on the screen for a little bit meanwhile the new content is shown; The old content goes up and the new content take place in the page (note: scrolling up reveal all the old content of the flow) Is there a way to do it?I uploaded the video here 

Hi all, i have been working on components in a styleguide and have no to restore a specific component. As i understand, if i select a status in the version history where the component was good, the whole styleguide would then be reset and all changes since then would disappear. Is it possible to reset only this on specific component or does anyone know a workaround?

In Figma, I am trying to export HTML but it doesnt seem to show the GDS components I have used in the page. Am I missing something or does Figma not recognise GDS components when exporting code?

Hi, everyone.I recently started my studies and during one of the classes I noticed a variables icon very close to the letter spacing field. However, when I looked at my screen, I didn't see the same icon. What is this icon for? Is it some feature that no longer exists?  I would appreciate it if anyone could help me.

Hi everyone, I am trying to migrate from InDesign to Figma but I still need InDesign files. After creating the Figma documents I will need to somehow export them and work with them also in InDesign. It seems there is no way to export a document directly from Figma to InDesign. Does anybody know how to do that (maybe a plugin) or if it is even possible? Thanks

スタータープランをつかっているものです。 Figma AIを試してみたいと思っているのですが、AIのメニューが、ツールバー上に表示されません。 UIはすでに新バージョン（UI3)に変わっています。また、ファイルブラウザ上で、プロジェクトの設定でもAIの機能はオンにしてあります。 このような状態の中で、どうすればAI機能をオンにできるか、どなたかおわかりになるでしょうか？ 宜しくお願いします。 

I have a frame full of component tabs set in an auto layout. The tabs are stroked and the gap between is set at -1 to avoid double line thickness between them. The default tabs have a grey stroke whereas the active tab has a blue stroke. Canvas stacking is set to ‘last on top’ which works great when the first tab is active. When the second tab is active, it’s left blue stroke is hidden by the first tab’s grey right stroke. I get the same result (but mirrored) by swapping canvas stacking over to ‘first on top’. If I bring the second tab to the front, due to the auto layout, it moves physical position to the first in the main frame. How do I keep it’s position in the auto layout but also move it to the front?

I have an Insert Tracking Link- Component If i press the black button - it opens the overlay What i want to do is - If i press the save button in the overlay -The Overlay closes The Insert Tracking Link button changes from black to green How can i go about and do that  

Hi! I’ve seen some issues with KR and the text seems broken. I also saw that the support team has advised to use “Regenerate all instances (slow)” from [menu > quick actions]. However, I’ve seen that the editor can only access this and the viewer cannot. Is there any way the viewer can also use this option as well? Or is there a way other than to use “regenerate all instances” and fix the broken text problem?  Many thanks!

Hi everyone,I'm having a serious issue with one of my Figma files. Hope someone here can help me!Here's my situation:I created the file myself, using my personal email (confirmed I am the owner). When I open the file, at the top of the file it says "Unassigned file" (in a yellow bar). I cannot edit, duplicate, or move the file to drafts or a team. The file has copy and duplication permissions turned off, and I cannot seem to turn them back on. Other users can only view the file (as set), but I can't even manage my own file properly. I double-checked that I'm logged into the correct account (owner's email).Here are some screenshots of the issue I already tried:Checking ownership and permissions. Looking for "Move to Drafts" or "Move to Team" options — but they're missing. Logging out and back in.⚠️ Important: This is a very important project file, and I need to continue working on it.If anyone has experienced this before or knows a fix, please let me know!Also, any way to contact Figma

I love the vertical trim option that just came out. But as of now it’s not supported by any browsers. So if you enable this feature the developer you hand off too will not be able to use vertical trimming, therefore your all the designs will be off due to the larger line heights that the vertical trim was subtracting. So while this is a great idea, if you can’t actually use it on the web yet, you’re just making more work for yourself and your developer. Am I missing something here?

Is this possible with Auto Layout? I want Auto Layout to wrap but I want the hanging item/card if there is one to be center aligned versus left aligned.
