 Hello, I’ve been a college professor for a long time and have been using Figma’s educational plan for my classes for a long time as well without any issues. Out of the blue today I got an email stating that my educational plan will expire in 4 weeks. I clicked on the get verified button once again on the figma website and got this.   I went back into my files and looks like nothing has changed. Should I get a confirmation email stating everything is ok or do I need to do anything else?  Right now I have four teams under the educational plan and I plan on adding a 5th. I doubled checked everything and it all looks good for now. I’m teaching a figma based summer class in two weeks and I want to make sure everything is good to go or if i’m missing something.  BTW I related this to education@figma.com as well.  I just would like any reassurance that what I have done is good and I don’t need to worry about it or if there is something else I need to do i’m directed in the right direction.

Hi folks, I don't understand what's going on, but when it came to animating the slides, I could specify: go to the next slide after one click OR directly. I can't find the option anymore. Am I the only one?

Hello dear community, I’ve created a 30-sec prototype in Figma using smart animation. As I’ve seen that there’s no way to export any of that as a piece of JSON file from Figma directly, I had to re-create all those “smart animated” parts manually in Jitter, where I could export it as JSON. The problem began when I realized that Android and iOS couldn’t play those animations because I used SVGs for some graphics. Jitter offered to convert all SVGs to PNGs, and this workaround works only for the same viewport, which is not ideal, to say the least. The ideal solution for me will be to have the ability to export a smart animation from Figma directly in a JSON format. The second ideal solution will be to discover whether there is a motion design tool that supports Figma’s smart animation and is able to export the animation as a JSON format. Hey guys,I have a file with 8 small vector Illustrations in it and running into difficulties exporting them. If I export a pdf the vector illustrations will not be displayed in it, an error message appears: "not all elements will be shown correctly" If I export the file there are error messages because of the pixel sizes of the graphics. But I don't want to scale every element of the layout by hand and pixel perfect plugin was no use in this matter. Only way to fix it was exporting to SVG and the. Export the avg to pdf. What can I do next time?

Newbie here and really struggling on some very basic stuff.A couple of questions - When I try to extend my desktop frame on Myaccounts_v2, so that I am able to design below the fold, three of my icons also drag, I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong? Also with icons, on some of them I’ve been able to vectorise so I can scale and on other ones I haven’t. This is so basic but what is the exact way to do this?  Thanks 

I’m new on figma, I’ve used like two times figma on my web explorer and then I download the desktop app, I started the application, it says I need to login on my explorer all normal it opens the page then i make a click on open desktop app (because I’ve login on my browser) but there’s nothing happened make a click again but nothing, I’ve attempted 6 times but nothing Then like 3 or 4 minutes it says this Device specifications: Windows 10 home Single Language last update installed: Windows 10 20H2 KB4023057 Processor: Intel core i5 Arquitecture: x64 Ram: 8GB Windows Language: Es-MX Browser: Edge (Even I’ve tested with another browser (Chrome) and it’s the same) Hope someone can help me

Hey, unfortunately the status does not work for me in DEV mode. I can mark something as ready for dev, but as soon as I change it again, it is not displayed in yellow (change state). I can't find the completed function either. I have the latest version and have already tried researching solutions - but have not found anything. Can anyone help me?

Hello,In Dev Mode, raw color values are shown in an hsla format, not in hex, whereas in Design Mode the values are shown in hex values. Is there any way to change the format for Dev Mode so it shows hex values? Thanks ! 

I am using AMZ Design Kit. How do I import designs into Figma?

I’m learning how to create a prototype in Figma and I have two questions.First, I need to make an interaction which when I click a button (any button) on page 1, it automatically needs to navigate to page 2. I did the part where the button turns blue when I click it. But I don’t know how to make the page change from page 1 to 2.  Second, when I click a button(one of the small squares), it needs to change it’s color and the long button needs to change it’s color too. (Without any trigger on itself). I did the part where the small button changes it’s color but the second part is kind of difficult. Could you give me instructions on how to do these? Hi folks,I have an urgent question: until now, I’ve been signing into Figma using the “Continue with Google” option, linked to my Google Workspace account. However, we’re about to shut down our Google Workspace and move over to Microsoft/Teams, using same email account.I’m really concerned about losing access to my Figma account and all the work stored there. I’ve reached out to official support but haven’t received a response yet.Does anyone know if there’s a way to switch my login method from Google to a regular email/password login without losing the content of the account?Thanks in advance!

I have a large variety of images here that I had to make into a component set, they weren’t all layed out properly so I figured I’d quickly use the auto-layout system to fix that, but the new grid system retains the gaps that were originally between all of these and I have no idea how to fix that.The first to items in the component are empty and are used when the master component this is added to is set to use no hat at all, the second image for each hat will be the backside of the hat which has to be layered behind the character in the master component.As you can see from the first image there’s tons of gaps here, but I don’t know how to fix it with this new grid system.Now the examples I’m using here are for a personal project of mine, but this is certainly going to be a problem for my work as well since I often use the auto-layout feature to quickly fix the distance between several objects as well  

Are all the measurements including font size in px?

Hi, could someone please help me. I am unable to set auto layout to auto distribute horizontally. It only let’s me do so when I specify auto layout direction. I am extremely confused by the settings in general because the first Icon is labeled Freeform which converts the auto layout to a regular frame without any indications. The top right icon does the same only it’s highlighted in blue. I also couldn’t understand Grid Beta. This used to be so you can set auto layout bi-directionally ↩︎ it doesn’t seem to work in similar way but is rather building tool in somewhat of a separate category. Also, how often do you click Align or Grid boxes vs Vertical and Horizontal gap settings? It makes no sense! =\ 

 How can I remove these excess vectors outside the frame? 

Hello, not sure if I overlook something but I have difficulties to set a different number for rows / columns for grids. I think this happens once I have mapped content to the cells. Is this intended, a beta bug or do I miss something?Thank you.

Hi, I am not able to update figma as I really want to use figma sites. Please help! I see figma buzz but not figma sites, and I dont know how to update my figma either. 

I did clean install of Sequoia which did nothing. I then deleted Sequoia, and because of the T2 ended up in internet recovery installing Monterey! I installed Sonoma. later. which did absolutely nothing!
