I have added a video (with music)in to Figma frame. also set the option to “Autoplay” but on the shared preview link, it just missing the audio until I press any part of the screen

My team are on a professional monthly plan where I am the Admin role. One of the team members who has full design seat and should have full edit access to all files and projects in the team recently got downgraded accidentally by another user to view-only resrictions for one of the project files, and therefore the files within that. I can’t seem to go in as an admin user and just grant him access to the project file again because I was not the original creator of that file? The original creator of the file is currently on leave. What is the point of an admin permission level if the permission level doesn’t grant access to undo actions like this? Is this a bug or built in functionality? Has anyone else had issues being Admin level but not really having any control over the files that you didn’t specifically create yourself? Or am I just totally spazzing out and just missing/overlooking a button that allows me to do this? I’ve reached out to Figma for support but would appreciate help as

Having an issue opening prototype preview in browser - prototype is just showing as a white screen. It opens in the iOS mirror app, but in browser I’m just getting a white screen where my prototype should be. I’ve tried clearing cache, logging in and out, and using a different browser (tried both Chrome and Firefox). Anyone else having this issue?

Hi Community,I am working on a project where i need to add a Heading and Description on an image which will be generated by a prompt. The image generation part is already figured out. The problem is to add the Heading and description and a logo image on the image itself and make the entire thing editable.once they are stitched together.Thanks

I’ve encountered a bug where scroll position resets on all interactions when viewing a prototype in responsive view… The fix (for now) is to just view the prototype at actual size… Once I switch and view the prototype at actual size, scroll position is preserved as expected/intended… Wondering if anyone else has encountered this or found a solution for it?

  I want to create a stepper that allows only one option to be selected at the time using variables. So far I have something like this but it doesn’t feel clean or practical enough, since there I was trying with only 4 options and the actual content would have +10 options sometimes.Each dash has an active/inactive version, and I toggle the visibility using booleans to invert the items that are being shown each time.Logic inside each dashHow my layers are set up  

I am trying to build a prototype where the size of the overlay depends on the size of the window. There is a set of overlays. On click of the button I open overlay on the side of the screen and the height of the overlay needs to follow the height of the window. First image looks good. The overlay in the second needs to adjust. HOW?

Is it me or am I noticing some oddly placed options in the top navigation menus?Examples:Collapse Layers under the Objects menu- Shouldn’t this be under the View Menu? Layers aren’t objects. Pick Color in the Edit Menu. I’ve never seen anything like that before, esp. in that it doesn’t invoke a color picker, but the eyedropper. Round to Pixel under the Arrange menu. My gut says that’s an Object function.Not a massive set of issues and I’ll eventually have the key commands down for these (except for Round to Pixel). Anyone else noticing this?

Hii Team,I want to ask that Like I am designing the screen which is showing the data in the tabular form but now In that I am adding the features for it like filters in the additionally I have two drop down in it.I am sharing the screen shot with that also, Now In the screenshot There are two drop downs for the filter like bot status with the three value All, Active, In Active and same for the parser status but the data also need to be changed according to the selected option like for example Both at all option, one at all and another at the active and all the other possible ways.Now I tried a lot but unable to find a way to update the data based on the selected option I have all 9 possible screen along with the data so need the way to change data based on the condition so please anyone can help replay here.The black part has some data so please ignore it.Also If the design can improve then put the suggestion also.Thanks and RegardsDhruv

I'm currently creating my portfolio, in presentation slide format. Unfortunately, the presentation slides for my web UI screens are heavy, due to the size of the mocked-up screens, so when I export as a pdf, it's extremely heavy! I've tried converting the screens to png or images, but the visual quality is terrible. I've tried flattening all the screens, but it breaks all my designs... I can't find any solution to reduce the weight of my portfolio without altering the visual quality... do you have any advice?I hope I have succeeded in being clear in my explanations…thank you in advance for your advice! 

Hi! I’m new to Figma & design - but trying to create an interaction on a prototype which involves two sections on one frame. One section would be fixed and is the top part of the frame, whilst the second section would allow me to scroll over the first section. A reference of the same interaction can be found here on mobile view: [The Classic Check Cashmere Scarf in Mid Camel | Burberry® Official] Sadly when I fix position when scrolling of the the top section of the frame, and set the second section to vertical scrolling it will scroll underneath the top section which is fixed on scroll. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Reposting this community question a sit was never answered and I have the same question: It’s possible to work with Figma desktop app and force the app to not sync a design file to cloud? I have to work at some design that can contain some sensitive information and I don’t want to be uploaded on the cloud. I know that I can stop the internet access for the app, but maybe the app already has something build it. Ref: Force figma to not upload a design file to cloud

Hi, I have a problem with constraint, for some reason, sometimes, the scale and left and right option is not available? What could be the reason for this? Thank you so much!

I have a grid of images as shown below. I plan to apply to variables to each image - an “x” variable, and a “y” variable - with the values being their x,y position in the grid.I also have 2 buttons, “Horizontal” and “Vertical”, with values that can increment. My goal is; when the value of the “Horizontal” button is 1 AND the value of the “Vertical” button is 1, then only the bottom-left image is displayed, everything else is hidden.The logic for each of the images would be something like;if Horizontal = x and vertical = y, then “Hidden” = false; otherwise, “Hidden” = trueMy problem is that when I apply x and y variables to each of my images, they all have the same value, when what I would have wanted is for each image to have the same x and y variables but different values. For example: the bottom-left image will have x=1 and y=1, the image above that will have x=1 and y=2, and the image beside it will have x=2 and y=1, and so on.Is this possible? Grid of images Horizontal and Vertical

Hej I’ve been using Figma for 5 years now and never had this issue. So I’ve made a small prototype in which I use a component set. In the sketches of the component set I’ve set the button texts for several different actions. However, when I open the prototype to run it and start clicking through the actions, the buttons texts are moved around. So text from one button in one position is suddenly shown in another not related button in another position. Examples 1, how it looks in component set: How it looks when prototype is running: Even if you can’t read Danish, you can tell that blue text link under “Betina” has the wrong text, and the buttom right button also has the wrong text. Why? I’ve never had this issue before. Any good ideas? I’m even fairly certain it worked yesterday 😅

Hello,I am currently developing a Figma plugin to extract local variables and local styles . However, I am facing difficulty in exporting local variables and local styles from Figma plugin to Figma styles and Variables.Could you please advise if there is a method /API to export local variables and local styles to Figma from plugin?

On my new projects i cant adjust these sliders with touchpad or mouse. Am i the only one who is facing this issue. And is not also effects panel. Same issues are in the linear gradient color wheel sliders RGBA sliders etc.

In the middle of my work, Figma showed me this message saying I ran out of browser memory, and when I opened the file in recovery mode, it shows I only used 2%, any idea what is going on?

Hey ya’ll, I’m working in Figma slides, and adding a live prototype. Here’s what happens: I open the prototype I want from my file, and retrieve the shareable link. The link is not restricted to anyone or anything. I paste the link in my Figma slides. It loads correctly, and has the correct journey selected in the prototype editor in Figma Slides (on the right-hand side, where you can change the prototype). Next, when I go to presentation mode, and click to load the prototype on the slide. It loads the incorrect page. It loads the first page (which is just a cover thumbnail). Please help!

Not sure if anyone can help, but I’ve been pulling my hair out all day. I’m working on a website prototype in Figma where one of the sections is sticky which contains 3 blocks of content half way down the page. It all works as expected until I clip the content on the Services-section frame so everything isn’t visible on the design. Then nothing seems to work correctly at all. I can just about get the 3 blocks to stick, but then the prototype gets locked almost on that section and can’t scroll down or up.  Yet if I leave the frame uncliped it works perfectly.   

Hey Figma team, The automatic addition of a design seat (for which I get billed for) without any warning or alert is a dark pattern I really wish you’d resolve. I pay for a pro account annually and get billed for an extra seat anytime I share a file with anyone else using the blue “Share” button. Viewers (not editors) get automatically added as full seats. I thought the whole point of Figma is to share files easily so other people can view the work you’re doing without editting. Your UX guides people to use the Share button to show projects to other team members who do not need to have access to Figma — just to view it. But to the actual subscriber it auto adds an extra design seat without warning and bills you at the end of the month. This is unacceptable IMO. Am I missing something completely? Or what is the correct flow to share files and progress to with others - artboard exports? Thank you,
