Hello! I’ve run into an issue: initially, the text and input elements were perfectly center-aligned with each other. But after I started editing the text field, it shifted upward, and ‘Align middle’ no longer works. What could be the problem? I’d really appreciate your help! 

Hey Community!I always struggle with creating responsive designs using the correct combination of constraints, auto layout & prototype settings.I am trying to create a side panel with the following expected behavior:Logo section (Topmost): Must always be visible on screen & not scroll with the page Middle section with menu items that scrolls when I scroll with my mouse pointer over the side panel, that is, in case the number of menu items exceeds the screen length. Footer section (Bottom-most): Must always be visible on screen & not scroll with the pageThe entire side panel should increase/decrease in length depending on viewer’s screen size. My Settings: Menu component has 3 frames in auto-layout for the 3 sections (Logo, menu items, footer), with the middle section (for menu items) set to 'Fill', 'Clip content'. Hi everyone,I'm facing a strange issue where the "Layout Grid" option is completely missing from the right-hand panel.This happens even when I select a Frame. I've already checked the following:I am selecting a Frame, not a Group or a Section. Auto Layout is turned off (there is no "Layout" section with a minus button). The Frame has zero rotation.No matter what I do, even creating a brand new Frame with the F key, the "Layout Grid" section simply does not appear. Has anyone experienced this before or knows what might be causing it?Thanks for your help!

I have a foundation figma file with unpublished and published variables and collections. I am trying to apply such variables to another file with two ways: Importing the foundation file library to the file i am working on. With the command await figma.teamLibrary.getAvailableLibraryVariableCollectionsAsync(); i do get only the published collections so i do not have access to the unpublished ones. Using figma rest api endpoint GET /v1/files/:file_key/variables/local i get all the variables and collections but i cannot import the unpublished ones in my working file, so i cannot apply unpublished variables to the working file’s nodes. Is there any way to apply unpublished variables to a file through figma api? the weird part is that through figma ui the user can apply unpublished variables. Something goes wrong when trying to do so via code.Thanks in advance!

Every time I open Figma (a lot daily), I have this annoying popup. How to close it forever?  

we have a client that wants us to transfer an entire project including all versions / libraries / comment threads over to their account. seems easy to do within an organisation - less so between organisations.exporting the file and re-opening it and saving it on their side is not an option at this point.any help greatly appreciated.

How do I make this text left aligned_Clicking on align left has no effecté 

I’ve created a component with elements that can be toggled on/off using boolean properties. They each work individually however when the subhead and body components are both toggled off the frame that they’re housed in doesn’t reduce it’s height and subsequently the white space from the frame remains at the top of the component.I’ve double checked and the frames within this component are set to hug contents for height. Open to workarounds but the one’s suggested in this feature thread (such as a 0px line being added) don’t remove the padding between the frame and the rest of the component.  

Who else is trying to find where the corner radius is in Figma Slides? The problem is sometimes it’s there, but sometimes not… 😰

I’m trying to prototype a mobile app interface with floating overlays — like draggable toolbars or on-screen script buttons — similar to what’s used in tools like arceusX script UI.In Figma, I can build the static UI, but it’s tricky to visualize how these elements would behave on top of other apps or interact with touch. Has anyone here figured out a smart way to simulate floating layers or translucent overlays in Figma for Android use cases?Would love to hear how you’ve approached this kind of thing — even hacky workarounds are welcome!

Hi is Figjam supported on Android? I've been using Figjam on my iPad but recently switched over to a Samsung S tablet. I can't seem to find a Figjam app.

Hi,in some instance,i see a `fills[0].imageHash` to have a null value.fills[0] is of type `IMAGE`it’s attached to a node that i can see in the editor, and i can see the image.It seems to be that the image is somehow corrupted,it is a node that i transfered from one file to anotherhere’s a file to reproduce the issue, take a look at the root node (named “root”)it has 1 fill of type image with a null imageHashIs this a known issue ?should i let it gracefully fail ? or hope for a real fix ?Thanks in advance for your input

I’ve built a hero component with an autoplaying background video. It has a button in the bottom corner that needs to be able to play/pause the video on click. My problem is that when i try to select the video, it’s greyed out and not selectable. Anyone know why this is and if there’s a way around it? I have the Starter Plan but no Figmal AI button. According to the Figma website all paid plans come with Figma AI. I tried contacting support but they told me to ask here for some odd reason. So hopefully a kind soul can inform me if Figma AI is only available in higher tiers (if so, I wish Figma had said so in the first place).Thanks in advance!

Hi,I’m testing out the beta auto layout grid and I’ve come across something peculiar and I was wondering if anyone else came across this issue? Is it possible to put text over a background shape? Auto layout does not like this for some reason, it shifts the shape up or down in the grid.I also tried to apply horizontal auto layout and that does seem to work in terms of sitting above the shape however when I adjust the webpage frame that part isn’t responsive. See attached a few example images. Please let me know if anyone has had the same issue and how they were able to resolve this?Thanks
