I'm developing a Figma plugin that needs to import a large number of variables (600+) using the importVariableByKeyAsync API. It is one person who cannot access DevMod for the PRO version of the project. Other developers work without problems, but it is the particular one who catches the error. How can this be solved?

Hello.I recently developed a widget that works on the Figma+Figjam page.I want to publish it as a paid widget, but I couldn't get the payment system permission for my account.so I tried to use an external payment system, but since there is no clear guide for this. I am afraid of violating the regulations, so I am temporarily suspending the development and asking for your inquiry.■Question■It is a one-time payments widget, but if I publish it as a free widget and call the PayPal payment page with the 'figma.openExternalUrl' function to process the payment and allow paid functions(like a Pro Version) to users who paid through my server, does it not violate Figma's policy? Of course, assuming that the basic functions of the free version exist so that non-paying users can use it. please, please, please...

Hey folks, I’m running into an issue and curious if anyone else has had the same issue. I’ll put it in a list just to keep things orderly:First, I make a change to my library, then publish the change Then I check the document it’s linked to, and check for an update. I see an update, but it’s actually a previous change that also didn’t go through.  If I go back to the library and make one other change and publish, then return to the linked document, now I can see the previous change. This isn’t the worst thing, I can just be-bop things around and fake a second change to get the first to go through, but it is a little silly 😅Has anyone run into this? Would you happen to have a solution?

Hey Figma community, I’m working on a project where I need to update text in my Figma designs programmatically and export images using APIs. Could someone guide me on how to achieve this? Here’s what I’m aiming to do: Update Text: Modify text elements within a Figma design using api or something else. Export Image: And export the updated design as an image file using api or something else. Example: Lets say there is a business card design in Figma and i want to update the name of customer in the card and export it as png using api call or something else.

I’m trying to use the new Annotation feature in dev mode, but I am not shown the button to even add annotations. It’s supposed to be in the top left next to the comment button (according to this blog post), but all I see while in dev mode are the selection and comment buttons. I have a full design seat, so to my understanding should be able to use all Figma features.

Im experiencing bugs on swap instance component. If I drop a button it looks fine, however anytime i swap it with another button variant it messes up the styles. This has been frustrating for my team and not sure how to fix it. This is happening on both the desktop app and the Figma web app.

What these icons mean? All seems to be regular figma files and I though...maybe something with branches or published library. But most of these files never had any branch or the local components are not published (at least at this moment). Any thoughts? 

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone figured out how to use modes to switch icon sets. So let’s say I have Brand A and Brand B in my modes, and the colors and spacing change when I switch brands. Can I also somehow make the mode switch my icons? (in a way thats actually feasible to use over the long run). Like an edit button that has a pencil icon: both brands would have different pencil icons, both named exactly the same. And switching brands would swap one for the other.

Does anyone have suggestions?

So below are some screenshots of vectors I’m trying to get out of illustrator and into Figma, when I export to SVG from illustrator, then illustrator itself sometimes causes these weird artifacts, but for some reason copying the vector data to the clipboard and pasting that into figma usually does the job, not always unfortunatelyRight now this seems to happen constantly, these gaps may not seem that big a deal, but they become extremely obvious when put on a bright background, and when these vectors are scaled up, so are the gaps, making them even more noticeable.For now I can deal with this, but I’m eventually going to need a workaround for this issue, any ideas?

I am an Android developer.During the transformation of the framework from sketch to pygma, we found that the sp/dp unit units can only be changed by 1/3, 3x.Our service requires 1/4 and 4 multiples of the development unit, so if this part is not resolved, there is an issue that the design team has to modify all the screens.There are two questions.1. Is there a plug-in to fix this?2. Can you add 1/4x and 4x sp/dp development unit multiple in Figma?I hope a good solution will be found.Thank you.

Hi, I created a set of icons that are used as instance swaps for an icon component. For now they are Bootstrap icons. All of them are flattened vectors and each is a component on it’s own. There is no auto layout inside the icon instances. I tried inplementing it and setting the size to fill, but that didn’t change anything. I then made variants of the icon component. If the icon is just outlined or filled, the color and the size. The size and the fill work perfectly but the size is giving me issues. The original size of all of the icons is 16x16px. Then I scaled the component to 36x36px and set that as the “L” variable. Most of the icons scale normally, but some icons just don’t want to scale. It’s always the same icons no matter if they are outlined or filled in. In the screenshot all variables are set the same for the two icons on the right, except for the icon instance. But the Graph icon retained it’s size while the circular icon defaulte

How do you make the header disappear when scrolling down then appear when scrolling up?

Dear Figma representatives, you periodically survey whether billing is fair. NO. We are receiving a bill for 5 users that do not exist for our Organization plan. On top of our actual use, we are billed for $45x5x12 = $2700 total loss for ghost users we don’t have. This is unfair and beyond. Possibly classified as illegal/theft in the EU. We will have to consult our legal departement and come back with the conclusion.

I am able to make a connection, but when I try to play out the prototype it is not working. I am trying to make a back arrow that goes back to the homepage for each page of the app. How do I fix this? I attached an example of one of the pages with the back arrow.

Anyone knows how to remove these lines?Its not a ruler. Seems to be a fixed ruler inside a card (Not a component). 

Hi guys, I’m working on a file that I created months ago and suddenly today it stopped working properly. I work in polish and all the diactrical marks (ą, ę, ć etc.) in every place suddenly stopped rendering properly and are replaced by default font. I tried restarting both Figma and my PC (Win 11), reinstalling fonts and Figma but nothing helps for now. Any idea what’s going on and how to fix it? It’s quite an issue for me as I can’t generate proper graphics and suddenly I need to move back to Illustrator to get my work done…

Hi, I have been trying that cursor move(without clicks) makes video in background play/stop .Although I tried to apply mouse enter/move out in tiles covering whole space, but video keep playing once stop in a tile. It would be great to hear solutions. Blue tiles with mouse enter/move out interaction 

I’ve been playing around with calendar-style UI designs lately and wanted to bring in an iCal-inspired layout. I found this use ical template free resource, which is technically for CapCut, but I’m curious if anyone has tried adapting that kind of layout or style into a Figma design.I’m hitting a few snags trying to recreate the spacing and structure visually without it feeling cluttered. Has anyone here tackled a similar challenge or have tips on clean calendar grid design in Figma?Appreciate any input!
