HI @sharun chandran — welcome! Our content team recently put together a course to help you get started with Figma Design and core concepts: Course overview: Figma Design for beginners (2025).
Hope this helps — and others, feel free to share your go-to resources too. 🙏🏻

If you’re starting out in UI/UX, Figma is one of the best tools to learn because it’s simple yet powerful. My advice is to focus on three things:

  1. Learn the basics step by step – start with wireframes, then move on to prototyping and components.

  2. Practice under real conditions – set yourself timed challenges or recreate app screens to build confidence.

  3. Review and improve – after each project, note what feels weak (like auto-layout or spacing) and revisit it until it clicks.

When I was learning, I used a structured set of practice tests that really helped me identify gaps in my knowledge and strengthen my fundamentals. If you’d like to explore that kind of structured approach, here’s the same resource I used:

Pairing practice with reflection and small portfolio projects (like redesigning a landing page) will help you learn faster and build a portfolio that shows your growth.
