Try pinch zooming in a Figma with a windows laptop with the usual Hi DPI drivers.

It zooms in a crazy amount; and out a crazy amount. The only way I can zoom on windows laptop is ctrl + scroll, but this is cumbersome.

Demo:

Gyazo

Pls fix. This doesn’t happen in any other windows application I have

Hi, I still have this issue. Is there any way to fix it, please? It persists both in-app and in the browser too. I’m using a Razer Book with Windows 11.

Same problem in windows . Its horrible. Don’t know why this issue still not addressed ?

Nock nock ! Anybody listening from the Team ?

still not fixed, productivity is staying

I am having the same issue. <please what is the solution???

Resolve issue:

Let’s check your mouse setting “Choose how many lines to scroll each time”. Make sure “0” value

The only options I hare are multiple lines at a time or one screen at a time. Unless I’m in the wrong menu.

For Windows users with a touchscreen, you can use that much more pleasing than the touchpad. Still this needs to be fixed soon. It drives me crazy.

Ok Figma Team… Since March 2021 we have this issue! And it’s not only the ones that use Magic Trackpad, it also have problems using the default trackpad from Windows computer! Are you really committed on fixing this issue or do you like your topics to be crowded??? Is Figma team made by juniors only? Or maybe Figma CEO prefers users to jump in Sketch??? Maybe that’s what you are trying to do… Come on guys, this issue already sucks, don’t you think? Can you please have the kindness to FIX THIS ISSUE???

Pinch to zoom too fast and out of control .

Xiaomi Notebook pro Ultra - i7 -16 GB @ windows 10.

web and app same problem.

Zooming in and zooming out using the trackpad is too sensitive for only one of my accounts. But it works fine on my other accounts.

I have tried clearing the cache on windows but it did not work. Working without an external mouse is very tough now.

Lenovo Yoga standard touch pad pinch to zoom is out of control – since before I can remember – why can’t we get a fix ?

A Year Later - A New User registered today and the same problem

Lenovo

Idea Flex 5

Win10

A crazy fast zoom making Figma pretty much useless.

Hi @poiru, unfortunately I’m still facing a trackpad issue in windows 10, it is zooming in and out so fast while working in Figma, could you help me, thank you.

Been having this issue for over a year now across two different laptops and across Win 10 and Win 11.

@poiru At the very least, you could just implement a setting that lets us control the sensitivity of pinch/stretch – that should help pretty much everyone even if you’re unable to solve the underlying issue elegantly for everyone.

ROG Zephyrus G14

Win 11

@anon21722796 it’s very annoying problem can you fix this asap ?

Same for me on my Lenovo Win 11 machine. Pinch to zoom works great in software like Chrome but Figma goes crazy. Ctrl + scroll works normally. It’s just super annoying when I jump into Figma from my Mac machine onto Win machine, it frustrates me.

Same… driving me crazy. Please fix.

I have the same problem but a funny thing happens. I have 2 accounts on figma one i poened anthe second one is part of a group class. i use the same computer for both, i only change the user. In the group class (digital house) pinch zoom is perfect, in my account is crazy fast and doesnt let u work. how can that be posible? Thanks

Same here. Touchpad zoom is extremely sensitive and a small touch will zoom something to 4000% on both Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 and a MacBook Pro with Windows in BootCamp. The touchpad works fine in all the other apps.

Same here, Windows 11 HP Envy 13

This is still an issue. Running windows 10 with an Asus Predator.

I am facing the same issue

it worked. Thanks bro

This comment thread is pretty hilarious. The zoom is absurdly wrong on a track pad and I would prefer to have it turned off compared to how it works now. It would take an intern less than a week to detect windows user, reduce zoom sensititvity, test and deploy. Gives me a headache trying to move my fingers a quarter millimeter otherwise it blows up.

hello\ Michael I got the same issue, and I believe it’s the account problem, I don’t have the scrolling problem when using other accounts with the same device…

my email is fathuraldifauzi@gmail.com thank you!
