DM Me your email if you want me to roll you back while we investigate. Thank you for sharing the details. To be clear, it worked well prior to last week and now is working poorly?
Hi, I’m having this issue as well. Lenovo Y520, WINDOWS 10, Logitech G pro.
Same issue. Framework w/ Windows 10 and their touchpad
Zoom issue @ Windows 11 + ASUS VivoBook S712DA-BX356T
As others have mentioned, CTRL+zooming using a standard scroll-wheel mouse was previously working great, but as of recently, now zooms way too much.
I use a Logitech mouse with a fairly typical notched scroll wheel, in Chrome on Windows 10.
I have sent Michael a DM.
Hi, at first, I thought I had a faulty touchpad. I’m glad I found this thread to find out it’s just Figma not working correctly. So, I have the same problem, Figma zooming in and out like crazy, basically unusable without a mouse. But, as a workaround, I can open it in browser and the zoom works fine there.
yeah, update have a majoooor scrolling with Ctrl, crazy thing)
It’s been horrible using Figma in the app. The zoom goes from 13% to 50% to then 190% and then 724%!!!
Zoom issue @ Windows 10 (21H2) Lenovo Ideapad 5 14RE05
Edit (12-05-2022): Works great now. Was fixed.

I use HP notebook bs146tu , windows 10, Logitech M221 mouse
Zoom issue @ Windows 10 (20H2) Dell Latitude 5420
Same issue on Windows 11.
Device: Asus Zephyrus G14
Input device: Inbuilt Trackpad
Same issue on Mac OS Monterey
Device: MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020)
Having the same issue this drives me crazy. I just switched from a Mac to Microsoft and this is the only problem I’m having. Please fix @poiru , thanks!
Going back to Miro. This is a critical issue and should have been fixed a year ago.
+1 same problem here. @Michael_Feldstein Are you still running that experiment? And if so how can I get the fix?
DM Me your email address and i’ll remove you from the flag
Please also lmk what computer/os/mouse/trackpad you’re using
Hi, there might be a misunderstanding. I’d like to get the fix for the over reactive zoom behavior. It makes it really hard to use Figma on my Surface Laptop 4 trackpad. I’m not using a mouse. Not sure how to DM you my email address. There is no link other than replying here.
Sent you a DM, alternatively email me at mfeldstein at figma.com
Can you remove me from the issue as well? Using a PC with Windows10, mouse and keyboard only. Somehow the problem only happens on my home PC, while at work PC, the zooming scroll +ctrl is fine.
The email of my Figma account is [redacted]. Looking forward to having this issue resolved.
Yup, on my HP Omen 2021, Synaptics Prescision Touchpad, HP Spectre x360 2021- ELAN Touchpad. Same issue. Sorry to hear you are not able to fix it yet as it makes me want to switch back to Adobe XD on Windows. Praying it will be fixed soon. Its kinda weird, my touch pad works find on basic apps like Crome but in a software thats very important like Figma, touchpad dosent work on windows. Why does it do this in the browser Figma too?? bizzare
