I am doing some Usertesting, most of the other tests when perfectly.
But with this one user the prototype is stretched and squashed.
As shown in the picture below. (The red squares are covers)
You can even see the blue interaction box are offset from their original position.
Is this a known bug? Is there a fix for it?

Disable hardware acceleration in the settings and restart Chrome. If this didn’t help or if this slows down Figma too much for you, the following steps will fix the issue:
Enter chrome://flags/ in the address bar and press Enter
Find ANGLE in search
Change the ANGLE graphics backend setting to D3D11, WebGL or whatever is available except D3D9 — this is the buggy version of this library
Restart the browser
You need to register the application launch parameters. Go to the properties of the Figma shortcut (right click on the icon → “Properties” → “Shortcut” tab)
Add the --use-angle=d3d11 or --use-angle=gl parameter to the “Target” field after the path to the application. The result in the first case will look something like this:
"C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Figma\Figma.exe" --use-angle=d3d11
Close the window and use this shortcut to launch Figma app
The fixes above are only for Windows. This problem shouldn’t appear on macOS. If the fixes above don’t help, report the issue to the Figma team via the support request form. Don’t forget to send them your system information: both hardware and software. You can use another browser like Firefox in the meantime.

I have created new files and used templates but that zoom still appears no matter what I do.

When run the prototype presentation, the frame android image, does not fit with the telephone frame on the presentation, it is crazy because the links for the buttons are actually on the right place, but the image is just not well displayed on the back ground. how can I fix this?
Now I know is not only my problem because I saw someone post similar issue with the image problem post onseptember 4th. but they close the case after 30 day with NO answers.

Encoutered this same problem but it can be solved by using Figma on a Firefox browser. The only problem is that your client may not be using Firefox.

well if you are using Figma software in windows, u can create a figma.bat file with the following content which will solve the issue.
START C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Figma\Figma.exe --use-angle=d3d11
this file you can keep on desktop as an icon for Figma, whenever you click this - it will open Figma with a proper flag which solves the display issue.
This solves only part of the problem. This doesn’t solve problem if distortion appers on the customers computer. In user test situation you can’t demand that customer start fixing this kind of stuff. This bug ruins user tests. Hope this gets fixed in Figma.

If the solution for windows desktop doesn’t work do this:
Wrap the file target extension in double quotes after the file path and the result will look like this
C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Figma\Figma.exe “- -use-angle=d3d11”
Agreed. Just experienced this in a remote user testing session and it was very disruptive.

Yeah agreed, this isn’t a solution for people that are using prototypes to user test, especially unmoderated. 2/3 of my participants experienced this same issue yesterday. Please solve.
