Do I have access to Figma sites through my Figma student/education account?Thanks

I’m having an issue in Figma Sites where I’ve made a custom nav bar with figma make and it works as I intended except for the fact that I can’t actually link to the pages on my site. I only have three buttons “Work”, “About”, & “Contact” and I’d like to functionality to work like so.When the "Work" button is pressed it automatically goes to the page titled "Home". When the "About" button is clicked it automatically goes to the page titled "/about" When the "Contact" button is clicked it automatically scrolls to the component labeled "Footer 1"I’ve had mixed success with the first and last item. Essentially it defaults to the “scroll-to” interaction but only works on the desktop portion of my Home page. When the About button is clicked I either get a black screen or a “Not Found Error Page”. If anyone has insights on how I might achieve what I’m looking for I’d really appreciate it! Should the Figma Plugin frontend store the refresh token along with the access token and handle refreshing at the proper time, or should the plugin backend store them and handle it? I feel like storing the refresh token in the Figma Plugin frontend is not great for security, since some OAuth providers might require the client secret to be sent along with a refresh request. If the backend handles refreshing tokens, I see a couple of hurdles:do we need to generate a new read key for the plugin to poll? how does the backend know what access token it is refreshing? I’m pretty sure the real answer is “don’t set up your components that way” :P but I thought I’d ask in case its a bug.I have an open branch with a main component, and I copied an instance of that component over into another branch, both under the same master. (Branches will remain unmerged until the dev work is complete.)When I click “Go to main component,” instead of taking me to the branch with the main component, it just drops me on the first page of the master file.Is it because it’s bad practice to reuse components across unmerged branches--they don’t count until they are merged and published? Or is this a bug and it should be able to take me to the branch containing the main component?

I’m trying to clean up how shared configuration data is handled in a Unity project and wanted to sanity-check my approach.For things like gameplay tuning values, item definitions, and balance parameters, I’ve seen both of these patterns used: Static data classes with constants or readonly fields ScriptableObjects used as data containers, referenced by systems at runtime I understand the general benefits of ScriptableObjects (serialization, inspector editing, asset reuse), but I’m less clear on the tradeoffs once a project grows in size — especially around testing, version control, and runtime safety. In practice, when do you consider static data classes the better option, and when do ScriptableObjects clearly scale better?

Just created a pitch deck using the AI feature and trying to export but it only lets me do File>Local Copy to a .make file. I don’t see any Menu Bar either for the Export function.

I was using the free version of Figma and was able to access Figma Design Tools in the Slides section until this morning. Later today, I decided to pay for a Collab Seat to get access to more features within the software, and I noticed that I lost access to Figma Design Tools. Is this normal?

Hello! While trying to publish a new version of the plugin we were asked to add 2fa to our hello@viewst.com account to get the possibility to publish a new version of the plugin.  But after we add it and try to publish a new version, we get a new error message "We detected a change to your account details. Please contact support@figma.com to proceed" that blocks our possibility to publish a new version with fixes of our plugin.  

I have this figma file that has an animation in it. I want the animation to be converted into a lottie animation for my react-native app but I am stuck since only the first frame is getting covered. I’m unable to publish changes to my library. I keep getting a message to reload the page to publish. After reloading, there’s a record that a component was indeed published; but there’s no updates available or any changes on the Figma files where I’m using this library. Any idea what I’m missing or is there an issue?

For example: all icons use the “icon” color variable by default, but within a success inline message component, the icon is overridden with the “icon-success” color variable (green), as the icon should always be green in that context. Swapping, say, a checkmark icon with “icon-success” applied for a shield icon retains the correct “icon-success” variable. I would like to use Figma Make to prompt the creation of slides that I can use for a presentation. Usually what is first generates is in the right direction, but I want to be able to then edit directly on the slides (i.e. without vibe coding). Is that possible? If so, do I need to move it into Slides first? How do I do that? Thanks! 

I’ve been doing a form mockup using the Atlassian Design system, and I’ve encountered the following error when viewing it as a prototype, involving the drop down menu element.The field looks normal before hovering over it.It shrinks to this width when I hover.It returns to the correct width when clicking, but the text in the field defaults back to the default text that the component has when you first place it.I’ve tried switching the states to define the width as “Fill” for each of them, but it doesn’

I can’t seem to find a way to turn off the red measurement tool. If I go to View > Hide UI it does remove it, but it also removes other side navigation components that I need available.   

Hello guys, I’m trying to activate the Figma Education plan but I’m stuck:  Attempting to verify shows “Verification Limit Exceeded.” I reached out to SheerID, and they responded they were unable to process my request and that the ticket is permanently closed.
