Damn. Almost a year and still no solution to this. Unbelievable!
Thank you Suresh for clearly articulating the pain points that we are facing.
Hey Suresh,
We hear you, and sorry for the frustration. Product Support is already aware and monitoring this thread. While we wish we could do more for you here, our team is only here to monitor and moderate the forum. We’re not equipped to handle any billing issues.
Thanks, Denise. A couple of comments…just to be fair on both sides.
- Figma Customer Representatives were very cordial and polite in communication during my interaction. Even though they didn’t know what to do, they exhibited empathy and patience.
- Please do not mark this thread closed until we really address this.
Thanks for the additional feedback!
Since our team here is not equipped to handle billing issues, we’ve updated the topic to a feature request so that we can continue to gather feedback and votes to advocate how big of an impact this is making in the community.
Hopefully this will help find a real solution for you all! 🤞
Thanks @dvaliao.

Facing the same issue, have tried ICICI and SBI cards… the SBI card is also getting validated by the bank but the payment isnt going through.
I have tried close to 10 cards… None seems to be working. VISA, MasterCard, American Express, RuPay - I have tried all of them. I have also enabled International transaction on them, still no luck. Please help as work is getting severely impacted.
Hi Suresh,
With reference to your mention of apple store payments.
Which card/ payment method are you using for the apple store? None of our cards are working for setting up the payments for apple search ads on the app store.
Best,

Hey all, we’re aware that some of you may be having issues with purchasing Figma if you’re based in India. This is due to a payment regulation in India that we’ve worked to be compliant with. Our team is currently looking into workarounds in order to improve this, but at the moment we recommend trying a different card. If you have any questions please reach out to our support team directly here
PS closing this thread for now. Please direct specific account questions/issues to our support team via the form linked in the post above. Thanks! 😊
Is there any way to upgrade to figma professional in India? I have been facing a payment issue and all of the cards have failed. I tried ICICI cards, Axis bank, SBI, Amex, HDFC, citi bank with both Visa and Mastercard carriers, NOTHING WORKS.
All cards have FAILED.
Please help if you have any idea how this works.
I facing same issue. Any solution yet ?
Thousands of people are unable pay in India. People have invested lots of time and money in your tool @Figma_Support.
It’s your responsibility to fix and just not say - none of our business.
I tried to upgrade to the paid plan and my cards keep getting declined. There are no problems with my cards, they work fine for any other transaction.
I live in India and use cards issued by Indian banks. Seems like this has been a problem for over a year and still no fix in sight. I have never faced this issue with any other product.
You must have a lazy team. Hopefully Adobe will step up and fix this soon since you clearly aren’t cut out to handle this a complicated task even with a year’s time.
