Hello, I have been messaging back and forth with Figma for months; however, there is no one directly being able to assist me. I have verified my account through SheerID, and they gave me a verification code. However, Figma is unable to create my educational plan. I have messaged them many times, and I haven’t gotten a response yet. It keeps asking for verification, so I resubmitted the form and I keep getting the error that verification limit exceeded. Can anyone assist at Figma or will I be not receiving any information going forward as I have already attempted to go through every outlet? 

I am an EDU account user. I used Make AI to design an interface for an educational platform. After less than 2 days and a total of 50 versions, I was alerted with 'You've reached your current limit. Your credits will reset on November 1, 2025.' This consumption of 3,000 credits per month is too fast. Moreover, there is no place in the backend where I can see the current credit usage in real-time, which is very unreasonable. The consumption data is not transparent. Now I have to wait until November 1 to use it again, which seriously affects my ability to work normally.

Hello! I’m the developer of the “Figma Converter for Unity” tool.I was sending Tier 1 requests to the REST API and received a ~4-day timeout before the next API request on my free plan.After that, I purchased a Pro dev seat subscription, but the timeout didn’t disappear and is still 4 days.I believe that after purchasing the Pro subscription, the API limits should have been reset.Right now, both I and my clients are facing the issue that even after purchasing the Pro subscription, it’s impossible to immediately restore our workflow.Please look into this problem.

Hello, I’m the owner of a design file created with my education account [redacted by moderator to remove personal information]. Recently, when I try to open it, I get the error: “Hmm, we couldn’t find that one. This Design file may have been deleted, moved, or made unavailable.”This project is critical for my academic deadline, and I need urgent help recovering it. Hi! Can someone help build a draggable nav bar? I'm trying to create a nav bar you are able to drag across the screen, but I'm having trouble having the nav bar follow my cursor as it drags. Also I want the size of the nav bar to change as the nav bar drags across the screen. Please help me!

Hello figmaHow can I get my refund back because I am not using the figma anymore ? I just subscribed for one month by clicking monthly and it was just $5 and this month on 29 November 2025 it took $35. I am looking forward to get my issue solved thank you

When I go to Share > Update Community file > Publish update > Save, it will tell me that the file is successfully published. When I check the community resource page for the Slides file, the name, details, and slide previews are up to date. But when I click “Use template”, the slides are still the previous version of slides.  This is happening to me on Convex Dark Slides, which I am the author of. They are Brian's Figma Toolkit, which is on an education plan. 

The recent change to the K (Scale) shortcut has really interrupted the workflow. Previously, pressing K once switched to Scale mode and automatically activated the scale input field, so we could type a percentage immediately.Now, pressing K does not activate the input. If you type a number, it changes opacity instead — which is easy to miss and causes accidental mistakes. To actually scale, you now have to press K a second time or manually click the field.On top of that, the scale field no longer clears itself after applying a value, so you can’t quickly apply consecutive scaling (e.g., 90% → then another 90% on the new size) without manually clearing the field.The previous behaviour was much smoother and faster. It would be great to have that back or at least have an option to restore it.

When I move the screen around it glitches and my webpage keeps reloading. I think it also crashed at one point.

I can't find this "use alternate zoom handling" in figma destkop version. This function makes the mouse scroll (zoom) non-linear which I don’t find comfortable. But some how it’s turned on in desktop version and there is no way to turn it off in desktop version. Please help! 

There’s a lot of plugins, and especially for certain features that there’s a lot of plugins for, like finding Icons/Symbols, there’s certain plugins that i prefer or like, but can only access them through the Recently Used section, but it disappears if I use other ones. There should be an ability to favorite a plugin for reuse.

Hi!We are currently investigating a way to use the same design system for all our different sub-brands (as they have a lot in common). To do this, we have created a small working group where I am one of the members.The result will be some kind of POC where we want to prove the concept of having a core library with shared components and then having a local design file for each brand where all the styling is applied.I would therefore need some help in getting an important feature for us (I have both googled and used various AI chats, but have not been able to get it right). You mentioned that we now have access to a higher level of support through the Enterprise license.Right now we are using a free version of Shadcn as a basis (Core). That is where we have all the basic components (buttons etc.) and also our own custom components that will be inherited in the local brand files. Hi all,Have you considered adding a feature to the auto layout “gap” feature that could allow a user to set a minimum gap i.e. 8px and a maximum gap i.e. 40px?I’ve recently needed this function for building bar graphs. I need to make them responsive without getting too small and overlapping on each other or too big when expanded.

I am trying to push my site to Github but it seems to indicate that there is a security issue. I have tried to recreated my repository and nothing seems to be working. The connector appears to say that it is properly connected but then the AI chatbot states that it cannot perform the upload. I have reviewed all permissions and it is not working. Also, I am using a personal GitHub as I have not setup an organizational account on Git but if that is required I can do that. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi eveyrone,I’ve started by drafting/prototyping in Figma Make, and have moved things forwards really quickly. I’d now like to move the screens into more of a workable space where I can see/edit all screens to take them from initial concept to my own specific design and see noodles linking screens together. Do you know if it’s possible to move the files across? Or am I better taking screenshots and starting from scratch? 

Components added from libraries in the sidebar are added above the frame and not contained within the relevant frame. This means that you need to navigate back to the layers panel to manually place the component within the frame every time.Open design file. Select frame Navigate to Assets Search for a component in a library Click on component. Insert instance. Observe that the component seems like it is in the frame. Navigate to File. Observe that the component was added above ALL layers.

Simple as the title : Allow components to be set as file thumbnails. We need that possibility in our company to be more flexible with our thumbnails, wich may change year by year.

Since it’s now possible to upload WOFF files to a Figma Sites project, i wanted to ask if you can also embed Adobe fonts? This would be such an essential feature for any brand work. 

I am making an app which gives gift ideas based on your prompt in Figma Make. I want to connect a LLM which can directly give recommendations based on your prompt. I did connect Gemini API, but its not giving me ideas related to prompt and giving the same ideas for all prompts.
