Question

Why is my Make AI points being used up so quickly?

I am an EDU account user. I used Make AI to design an interface for an educational platform. After less than 2 days and a total of 50 versions, I was alerted with 'You've reached your current limit. Your credits will reset on November 1, 2025.' This consumption of 3,000 credits per month is too fast. Moreover, there is no place in the backend where I can see the current credit usage in real-time, which is very unreasonable. The consumption data is not transparent. Now I have to wait until November 1 to use it again, which seriously affects my ability to work normally.

Hi @Freeman996, thanks for reaching out!

Right now, EDU users will only see credit limits when using Make once you’ve met your usage limit for a given period, and when your limit will reset. I’ve updated your topic into a feature request, and we’ll pass your feedback onto our Make team regarding making your current credit progression more transparent.

That said, the reason you’re most likely hitting your credit limits too quickly is due to your prompts. We recently wrote up some best practices for Make. When your limit refreshes, try applying some of these tips to get to a better output with fewer prompts.

Hi! I’m having the same issue with my EDU account. It initially said my credits would reset on November 30, but when that date arrived, the message changed to December 1 instead. I thought I could simply wait it out, but it now seems like Figma Make is continuously pushing the reset date back each day.
