I am working on a side navigation panel within my design and am having trouble with the prototype not working correctly. I was able to build out variants for the closed and open states with the subnavigation and was able to apply connections to all of the items successfully.
What I am running in to is when I toggle open the subnavigation, it remains open when I return back to the original page. For instance, if I have a Home, About, Wallet, and Promotions with subcategories under all but Home, if I am on home and open About to go to a page from there and return to Home, the About category is still open.
I am wanting the side nav to close all the other pages in this instance when the user returns back home.
Does anyone have any ideas for how to resolve this? Hopefully the explanation provides you with enough context for the problem I am facing!
