In the new Libraries dropdown, Figma decided to design a new way of showing components. In the new way, if you hover over the component in grid view, a tooltip appears and shows the name of the component.
In the Assets Panel, the name shows instantly on hover at the bottom of the tile, and any documentation for the component shows in the tooltip.
I prefer the way it’s designed in the Assets panel.
