The added seats were set on an annual basis, and the annual cost was seen in billing. Right now I haven’t added any members. If I continue to not add members and maintain only one admin account, won’t they be added to next month’s billing?
Hello, I got a problem while prototyping and I would be interested in your opinion about it. When you’re prototyping on a big project we all know that it becomes really difficult with all those lines connecting a component to another one. I usually use the prototype to test the interaction but what if when I find an error on the prototype? It becomes really difficult to understand which precise frame it is. So in the prototype preview, I think it would be great to have not (only) the screen number “12/56” but the name of that frame to make it easier to find in the page. I don’t know if I’m the only one experiencing this problem (maybe it’s just because I’m not using the right way to prototype?). Have anyone of you experienced this?
On my new projects i cant adjust these sliders with touchpad or mouse. Am i the only one who is facing this issue. And is not also effects panel. Same issues are in the linear gradient color wheel sliders RGBA sliders etc.
I’ve been noticing that my images no longer are showing the little dropdown in the asset panel that gives you the option to download the source image. Is that a bug/setting or is that functionality being removed?
Another nice addition would be to connect your FigJam files with related Figma files. So as not to rely on file naming. Creating links between the two would allow for easier navigation and discovery from others in the team.
In the middle of my work, Figma showed me this message saying I ran out of browser memory, and when I opened the file in recovery mode, it shows I only used 2%, any idea what is going on?
IM NEW AND IM MAKING A GAME CALLED RIDGE I WAS WONDERING IF YALL CAN HELP
Can someone tell me the difference between these two icons next to components in the layers panel? Thanks! Gemma
When creating a presentation, our team tends to have mini brainstorming sessions or retrieve useful information from different presentations or design files. We do this by pasting frames, images, text, or any kind of material, freely in the canvas as a reference for new slides. The problem is when pasting 1 or several 1920x1080 frames (same size as a slide) it automatically converts them to a slide (great for most cases, but restrictive otherwise). This means it is forced to align to a row and behave as an slide, when we just want it to have it there “floating” around for a while as we are working on ideas and polishing things up. At the end we create a new version and delete these references so we can have a clean file. I was wishing for the ability to convert a slide into “just a frame” (this means it wouldn’t be displayed in slide view or presentation mode). And maybe a special paste function that ignores slide conversion would be nice. And now that we’re here, I would also include
Hey ya’ll, I’m working in Figma slides, and adding a live prototype. Here’s what happens: I open the prototype I want from my file, and retrieve the shareable link. The link is not restricted to anyone or anything. I paste the link in my Figma slides. It loads correctly, and has the correct journey selected in the prototype editor in Figma Slides (on the right-hand side, where you can change the prototype). Next, when I go to presentation mode, and click to load the prototype on the slide. It loads the incorrect page. It loads the first page (which is just a cover thumbnail). Please help!
Would be great to have basic formatting properties for tables. Cell color is not enough to create certain data visualizations. Stroke properties: color, weight, line type (dashed, solid) Merge cells: just a must Drop shadow: for table as a whole. At least in design mode Headers: ability to select hoe many rows to display as header Footers: same as headers Alternating colors Basic filtering or tagging Support in design files
Not sure if anyone can help, but I’ve been pulling my hair out all day. I’m working on a website prototype in Figma where one of the sections is sticky which contains 3 blocks of content half way down the page. It all works as expected until I clip the content on the Services-section frame so everything isn’t visible on the design. Then nothing seems to work correctly at all. I can just about get the 3 blocks to stick, but then the prototype gets locked almost on that section and can’t scroll down or up. Yet if I leave the frame uncliped it works perfectly.
When changing an icon’s color in a button component, the color change doesn’t appear on the buttons where the icon has been instance swapped. This was still working yesterday, and I tested it on several projects with different icon sets.
Hey Figma team, The automatic addition of a design seat (for which I get billed for) without any warning or alert is a dark pattern I really wish you’d resolve. I pay for a pro account annually and get billed for an extra seat anytime I share a file with anyone else using the blue “Share” button. Viewers (not editors) get automatically added as full seats. I thought the whole point of Figma is to share files easily so other people can view the work you’re doing without editting. Your UX guides people to use the Share button to show projects to other team members who do not need to have access to Figma — just to view it. But to the actual subscriber it auto adds an extra design seat without warning and bills you at the end of the month. This is unacceptable IMO. Am I missing something completely? Or what is the correct flow to share files and progress to with others - artboard exports? Thank you,
I’ve been trying to use icon fonts so that I can apply inline icons with text. Wingdings doesn’t work, it’s all appearing as text. none of the actual iconography. I also installed a free version of FontAwesome 6, and tried both the web and the desktop versions. Figma posts a note acknowledging ‘new font added’ but when I select it, it’s just text. How the heck do I do this. I tried the fontawesome plugin, but that’s just giving me svg shapes. I need TRUE inline text icons.
