Every time when i want to export asset, i have to click directly to + icon. What’s more - export options expand after this action so i have to scroll down to click export, as export option is not visible (red line)Plus - if i export asset as jpg, next time when i export something else, png is selected as default, IU should def remember last setting. Would be cool if export button got position fixed so it’s always usable.
When Figma Make is working on a particularly long implementation, it will pause in the middle of it and the chatbox will become active again. I have to nudge it to continue by asking it “Are you still working?”I want it to work continuously until done with the current prompt. As a fallback, at least play a sound when this happens so I can nudge it to continue right away.
It would be great to add a animation to a auto layout container with X ammount of the same children layers This would animate in a stagger like manner, with posibility to add delay between each children, and a animation type ( fade in, slide in, etc) This would be a killer animation addition in my opinion
We have Make, we have Supabase, Github integration is releasing, but what about being able to use LLM’s in an app that is created via Figma Make. This would really help teams who are working on building AI-centric experiences.Imagining what models can do is one thing, but being able to prototype how models will interact with user inputs during experimentation would be really impactful.Anyone else feeling this?
new auto layout is awesome. But not having shortcut for it setting make me sad. really miss shortcut for direction, aligment and padding and resizing option Please make it
I have a single page site that has a nav bar that scrolls to different sections on that page. I want to add sub pages for some of the content on that page, and I’m trying to add the same nav bar and anchor a nav menu item to a section on the main page but it doesn’t seem like its possible unless its on the same page.
I’d like to suggest implanting a Layers System feature to the pen tool, similarly to desgin and animation softwares. Managing the actual tool is impractical due to the many vetor layers created in each pencil stroke.

Currently you can sort by collection in the variables explorer which is obviously important however when it comes to assigning variables to elements around your document, you have to find the variable through a drop down that includes every collection. This quickly becomes a mess if you are utilizing multiple collections and sub-groups. An option to only view by collection would be very useful, similar how you can sort by library for component/style libraries. There could probably be a lot more done when it comes to organising and managing variables however I think this would be a step in the direction.
Working with color variables is great. I’ve built several component systems using variables. However, there are a couple of obvious features I feel are missing or need fixing. I’d love to see these features added in the future: Cross-referencing a variable with added opacity At the moment, I can cross-reference a color variable, for example, the primary color, but if I want to use the primary color with 50% opacity, I have to use hex values and manually set the opacity. If I later change the primary color, I also have to manually update all the opacity versions, which is inefficient. Better variable mode preview Currently, when I create a new mode or theme and reference other variable colors, the preview still shows the base (default) mode instead of the colors referenced in that specific mode. This feels like a bug and should be fixed.
We’re looking to gather more accurate stats from our library usage and inserts. Rather than showing the last 30/60/90 days it would be good to be able to filter by month.
add search bar in open overlay dropdown in prototype panel
I’ve been enjoying using FigJam for prototyping and collaborative brainstorming—it truly makes creativity flow. However, I’d love to see an enhancement that bridges the gap between creative prototyping and technical diagramming. One feature I’m passionate about is the inclusion of official icon sets, and resources for major cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure. Currently, these icons are essential for accurately visualizing cloud architectures, and many other tools, such as draw.io, offer them as a built-in resource. By integrating these official cloud icons, FigJam could become a more robust solution for creating professional and precise architecture diagrams, appealing to teams working on cloud infrastructure and system design.I believe this enhancement would not only streamline workflow but also elevate FigJam’s capabilities to match, or even surpass, existing diagramming tools. Thank you for considering this feature request—I’m excited to see how FigJam evolves!
It would be helpful if we can export export strokes as strokes in pdf. Some printing company will need the use the stroke to cut out the design. One thing I bumped right now is, after exporting as PDFs, the stroke originally in the design turned into an outlined stroke which the printing company reference the stroke as a path to cut.
Loving the new AI features in Figma, especially First Draft. ✨It’s great that we can choose from different libraries, but I’m wondering—is there a timeline for allowing user libraries instead of just using the four default ones?Right now, the available options are:Basic app (315 components) App wireframe (317 components) Basic site (166 components) Site wireframe (163 components)Would love to know if custom libraries are on the roadmap and when we might expect this feature.
I’d really appreciate this option available even if it necessarily means that AL content switches from “Fill container” to “Fixed height” when moved to another row. I’d like to use Wrap AL for responsive rows of instances of text-filled cards/tiles with total heights dependent on inner content, making all the cards in the group vary in height. Usually, I would leave vertical “Hug contents” on the tallest element in the group, setting others to “Fill container”, whereas with Wrap AL, such option is greyed out. Why’s that so? And does it need to stay like that?
Hi,I started using Figma Draw, but the pen pressure sensitivity feels off to me.In my opinion, stroke thickness increases much sooner than I’d expect, and the variation I would hope to see in my drawing/writing does not exist.Strokes on right ranging from barely touching the screen, to full pressure.I’d like to have a setting in the Figma app that allows me to adjust the pressure, as I typically can in other apps that support pen input. The setting in the Surface app on Windows could serve as good inspiration for its implementation. :) I don’t know whether there is an API on Windows that an application can use to receive this pressure curve information, perhaps that is something the dev team could also look in to.
DescriptionI work on a Microsoft Surface, and there are many Windows 11 and Windows 10 touch devices with a pen. The pen has two primary inputs. Writing and erasing. You also use your finger to pan or scroll the board. Microsoft Whiteboard supports this model very well. It would be fantastic if FigJam did the same, because I am a UX designer and I sketch a lot in my creative process. The current experience keeps me from using FigJam.What happens todayIn FigJam I cannot use the pen to write and erase directly while using my finger to move around the canvas. This slows sketching and forces constant tool switching. What I need Pen tip writes Pen eraser erases Finger pans or scrolls the board This mirrors common behavior on Windows touch devices and matches how Microsoft Whiteboard works. Why it mattersFast sketching is core to my workflow as a UX designer. Natural pen plus finger interactions make wireframing and ideation much faster. This change would remove a daily barrier and make Fi
this is similar to what has been solved in this topic: https://forum.figma.com/topic/show?tid=23910&fid=7 but this solution doesn’t work for me as no longer have access to the file I’m getting notifications from.Being able to manage notifications from account settings or somewhere else than the file it self would be nice
Hi, I often work with complex components that need to be updated. Some are very complex. I would be very happy to be able to use the "Review updates" window in fullscreen.Or am I the only one? :)Thank you

Hello Figma Team, I wanted to share a suggestion for improving the user experience in Figma. On several occasions, I have come across “Click: none” events that are quite annoying. My proposal is for Figma to automatically detect and remove these empty events, especially since when trying to create a link, it sometimes detects this event and switches it directly to the drag event. This problem has caused some prototypes to not work correctly when launched. If it is not possible to automatically remove the “Click: none” events, it would at least be very useful to be able to change the events directly from the drop-down menu. Currently, I always have to clear the “Click: none” event before I can make any changes, which is somewhat tedious. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to seeing this change implemented. Best regards!
I used the Figma Make export tool to generate a React site, and it initially worked beautifully — it saved me an incredible amount of time. I was able to deploy the site and fortunately saved the generated source code. However, the export only included the source files, not the necessary config files (package.json, tailwind.config.js, tsconfig.json, vite.config.ts), which makes it extremely difficult to rebuild or modify the project. After many attempts and major code changes, I still can't get it working — especially the CSS.Worse, after using the tool again with a second prompt, the entire project broke and became unbuildable, throwing errors (specifically from figma_app.min.js). There is no way to undo this or roll back. While there is a "Save local copy" feature, there's no way to open it again — a major missing feature that could have saved the project.
Clicking between two pages is inconvenient – there should be a hotkey for that. Context — I have components in Page A and need to see the changes I make on Page B. I make lots and lots of small iterations to my design and want to swap between Page A and B quickly to see results. Solution — A back and forward button (or hotkey) that let’s you jump between pages you’ve last visited and forward again.
