Could you please add the option to show width overlay in figma make, it would really help debug breakpoints when prototyping. Thanks
Just like Microsoft Powerpoint, we should be able to add duration for the transitions between our slides to make it not look like we are in a hurry. Currently, I think the default duration is 500ms and it’s too fast for me. I want to make it gently transition from one slide to another. The animations are great, but if you could also add more transitions, it would make it even more better.
For now the only solution I found is to switch the Image fill to Crop and to drag the edge of the image manually until it flips. This is cumbersome and not very precise because of the overlap of the image’s edges and the crop bounding box edges. A simple set of mirror buttons would be super helpful! Thx!
Just wanted to add a bit more context! Many agencies and independent designers build full visual systems in Figma, then rebuild everything manually in Divi for WordPress. A plugin or native export option could save hours of repetitive work and help preserve design-system consistency.I’d love to test or even provide feedback if your team ever explores a Figma-to-Divi workflow. It could really empower smaller studios that rely on WordPress as their delivery platform.
I would like to be able to apply variables to sweeps, etc. If this were possible, I think it would be possible to expand the dynamic expression of prototype.
A simple option to randomize a pool of sticky notes, without using a plugin. Seems to very useful for researchers.
Hi Figma team!I’d love to suggest a small but meaningful UX improvement. In Figma, many numeric fields can be reset by typing “auto” (such as width, height, or layout), which is great. However, when working quickly, it’s incredibly easy to mistype “auto” as something like: atuo auot uato aout atou utoa or other nearby typos At the moment, Figma doesn’t recognize these variations and simply rejects the input, forcing users to delete and retype again. Considering how common and predictable these typos are, it would be a great UX win if Figma could accept common mistypes of “auto” as valid and interpret them as auto. This would improve workflow speed and reduce tiny daily frustrations without causing any conflict, as these typo variations aren’t used as valid values for anything else.A tiny change, but a quick win to improve designers’ lives ✨Thank you for considering it!
I’ve been using Figma for almost 7 years, and this has been a pain point for me while using Figma to craft UI designs in each of the projects I’ve been through. It doesn’t allow me to reorder the starting point flows I’ve created when more starting point flows are added. As more are added, there arises a need to reorder the way people navigate from sub-flow to sub-flow within an app design in the desired order. Additionally, having the ability to rename a specific flow directly from the present mode would be a plus, so the user wouldn’t have to leave the current context of present mode and go back to the shared workspace to find and rename that flow.I am pretty sure that there are a lot of folks in here in this feedback community must have the same concern as mine. So Figma, I am asking you to make an according adjustment to this and ease our lives. Thank you
Hello, Figma team! I am an active user of your product and would like to propose a new feature that, in my opinion, can significantly improve the workflow for designers and their teams. We are talking about the possibility of allocating a separate editing mode only for texts inside layouts. At the moment, when it is necessary to make edits only to text elements (for example, to correct typos or change the content of the text), users have to get full access to all elements of the layout, which can lead to undesirable changes. It would be very useful to have a feature that would allow you to edit only texts, without the risk of accidentally changing other design elements. Such a mode would be useful for copywriters, marketers, and other professionals who interact with layouts but are not designers. It would also reduce the burden on designers, who would no longer have to worry about the safety of all other aspects of the project. Thank you for your attention and for the excellent product
I would like the possibility to add drag and drop in Figma prototypes in which you can reorder items in an auto-layout frame. Right now it is limited to adding a simulated drag and drop of one item, without auto-layout applied to the parent group/frame. Unless you create different flows to allow multiple items to be dragged and dropped, but always from a static position, to a static position. I’d like that extra bit of freedom, as it allows for better prototypes and conversations.
What can you do when you have unattached comments? There should be an option to place it back on a frame or object inside the canvas. Vote here if you have the same issue. (original question here: What do you do with Unattached comments? ) It would be great if @figma can let us reattach lost, unattached comments back to a frame. Even better if the comment automatically falls back to a children frame underneath when you ungroup a frame, to which the comment is attached. That just reduce unattached comments from happening.
Option to select a precise video frame for the thumbnail preview.
Mass selecting elements in Figma can be a pain. Especially with the new changes to auto-layout sometimes elements will get nested 4 or 5 frames deep. In Sketch, you can press Cmd+Opt while dragging to select a group of objects. When you do this it will only select elements completely within the drag area. This makes mass selecting way more powerful. I’d love to see Figma copy it or come up with something better.
I would like to ask: are there plans to introduce such a feature (tool) for Figma Draw as an eraser in the future? For example, it could easily erase unnecessary vector graphics down to the smallest detail. That is, I mean the eraser, which is have for example, in Adobe Photoshop and MS Paint.
Hello! This is feedback for the Figma team. It would be so awesome to be able to see what was modified specifically when publishing components to avoid any potential unwanted changes that went under the radar. I see it will show some components or variable changes as “modified” with an arrow. But others it doesn’t show what was changed. Any insight into why this is would be helpful. Thank you!
Any way to only paste cell values in comments? when copying from excel, pasting in comments includes cell markup. in the example below of what pastes in comments, i am only trying to paste the link " https://www.cvs.com/minuteclinic/clinic-visit " usage for this is that we are given a link grid and link tagging structure to paste in comments to make it easier for and marketers to QA what the links should be. it didn’t start pasting this way until recently this is what pastes: table {mso-displayed-decimal-separator:“.”; mso-displayed-thousand-separator:“,”;}tr {mso-height-source:auto;}col {mso-width-source:auto;}td {padding-top:1px; padding-right:1px; padding-left:1px; mso-ignore:padding; color:black; font-size:11.0pt; font-weight:400; font-style:normal; text-decoration:none; font-family:Calibri, sans-serif; mso-font-charset:0; text-align:general; vertical-align:bottom; border:none; white-space:nowrap; mso-rotate:0;}.xl671 {color:#4472C4; vertical-align:middle; border:.5pt solid windowt
My main goal is to align our typography tokens closer to code. In code, we don’t need a “body-lg-bold” text style because it can be done in code with <strong>.However in Figma, if I don’t define it as a text style (like “body-lg-bold”) and use “body-lg” and then bold it with “command+B”, the “boldness” resets in interactions or resets when a designer re-enters the text box.Has anyone found a solution to this without breaking text-styles? What does your design system do?Is this something that we cannot align with code?
Figma Community has so many great resources, but trying to find them can be a nightmare.Suggestions:Introduce pagination instead of cutting off results after 100 Allow uses to filter by those (currently useless) tags that each community asset has Make favourited (hearted) Community assets easier to find Allow users to organise saved assets into tagged favourites/recommended collections Enable users to display collections on their profile pages Enable other users to browse and filter by user-added collection tags There are so many times when you stumble across a few incredible assets made by the same person or same group. It would be amazing to browse their recommended assets as well.
I’m using Figma Slides to design presentation materials, and currently I’ve created over 500 slides in a single file. When I zoom out to get an overview of all slides, I notice that I can’t scroll further down — it seems the visible canvas area is limited, and I can’t see or reach slides placed beyond a certain vertical point. Here’s a screenshot showing the situation. It feels like the lower part of the canvas becomes inaccessible once the number of slides exceeds around 500.Questions Is this behavior intentional (i.e., a specification or technical limitation)? Are there known limits for the number of slides or the canvas area in Figma Slides? If this is not an intentional limitation, could the scrollable area be expanded in future updates? Context I use Figma Slides to design complex lecture materials. Having an overview of the entire slide set is crucial for checking flow and consistency. It would be very helpful if Figma could support a larger canvas area for projects with hun
I work with a big DS team with multiple systems and collections. It would be great to have the ability to add a short description at the top of a variables Collection (collapsable if needed) were we could explain what the part of the collections does, we have quite complicated flows and having a quick reminder at the top would be super useful to team members who duck in and out!
Hi. As a tablet user. Samsung Galaxy tab6. I love that I can work on figjam! When using pen would like to see erase option. Also if I want to remove element I didn’t find a easy way to delete. Perhaps in the drop down option add delete. Thank you! I’m using figjam in Chrome browser on tablet.
I think Annotations should support adding Variable modes as a property. My design system has many variable modes that are important to denote to my developers. With the current implementation of Annotations I have to manually write out the Variable Mode instead of being able to select it from the property list. Please add this capability!
I’d love to be able to create variants of Fills like in a component. Or, similarly, move the Apply Variable menu into the Fill area if there’s relevant options. This would help give designers more context when making styling choices AND would clean up the Fill menu(s) considerably. Example:
Hi Figma team,It would be great to add a sitemaps generation in the settings of Figma Sites.Which auto generates when adding new pages and could be edited as well in XML.That would improve SEO and custom configs. You could potentially add an AI feature for this to auto optimize your sitesThanks
Please add the option to filter comments by author in the file — SEO has flooded me with comments, and I can’t see any of the ones from the other designer that I actually need.
