Why, oh why do I have to click to see the size of the current Text Style I am using? Why not showing the XX/XXX like in the Styles panel?
I build a simple map, and it broke 10+ times, keeps fixing itself, with google map api key with everything added. it was kinda working at start asked for a search to be added and it keeps breaking since then even the style it broke, I have never been this disappointed. I wish I could show you the trivial things that it breaks on. This is not right. Do not add credit limits until ur product is at least able to fix it self the errors that it adds in without reasoning.
Record and place and move around voice notes against items so that asynchronous discussions feels easier and personal than text.
Hi Guys,To have full control of your libraries I think it is a good idea to give some freedom in managing styles and elements within the manage libraries section. This way you can quickly switch colors and components within the interface all ready in place for it. Means; No more unwanted styles or components connections within your libraries. More control and easier adjustments without plugins or difficult work arounds.Currently it works only once the name is the same, but only half of the time and this is a lot of work when you want to change a lot of styles or elements. Some examples; If the dropdown just covers all your styles and components you can easily check your libraries and select the style and element you want from the file you want. Being able to search within this is dropdown would be a good idea. Hope this becomes a thing, a side from major future updates something I would really want! Thanks, Joost
It would be nice to be able to set the default spacing between frames. I find 40px to be rather tight most of the time. It could work the same as the ‘Nudge amount’ feature.
Have you considered adding an Auto-alphabetize feature for figjam mind-maps?Cheers,John
I use color variables for a labeled-website that supports different retailer themes and have Light/Dark mode. I want QA/Dev Figma viewer users to be able to switch retailers/theme and switch between light and dark mode. I want the interface similair to what I see (as an editor) where I can select these values under the Layers panel. I would want to select which variables I want users to have access to.
From what I can see animate only works from slide to slide as a transition. But there’s limited animate options and I would like to stagger or animate individual areas of slides. Is that possible? If I had say 4 blocks of objects/text/pictures or something it would be nice to animate each individually after the other to bring my slide content more to life. Also, it would be nice in Grid View if you could select a slide and drag to add similar animations right there. Auto animate after delay doesn’t seem to be available either. Given limited animation features I’m adding some duplicate slides and using smart animate between them but I have to click or use spacebar to trigger each slide. Wish you could choose animate, type of animation and after delay or normal slide click progression.
It would be great to have the ability to open a shared Figma link somewhere in the app. Maybe on the home page. WHY? The working process implies sharing the content. If it’s one team, they can easily tag each other in Comments and be happy. However, we may also share the Figma links in such places as JIRA or other. https://www.figma.com/file/________________________ In that case, when you click on the link in a browser, you have it opened in a browser. Yes, you can switch using the ‘open in app’ button. But it’s not so convenient when you have a bunch of links. I’d propose having an input field on the home page, where we could paste the link(s), and they would have been opened in a new tab(s).
It is shocking to understand that a graphic design tool does not have the capability for printing. While the export feature may be one of the solutions, it's a bit strange. The screen's capabilities of the screen. As well, that you're drawing the resize to the printing page and parts way in by the mouth. I just appreciate that at least printing capabilities will be included.
When facing the problem of big heavy files I feel like the option to select a page and convert it to the new separate file might be really helpful.
Hi Figma Team! 👋I'd like to suggest a "Repeat Last Action" feature, a simple shortcut that lets us repeat the most recent action (like resizing, renaming, applying styles, etc.).This would be super helpful when handling bulk updates across 100+ visuals. While we can replace assets using ‘Select all with’ same instance, variant or same properties, it doesn’t always update everything correctly. I still find myself going through the visuals to double-check and manually adjust the ones that didn’t change as expected.Although there are some relevant plugins, they don’t quite solve the issue or work consistently in every scenario.Having a built-in shortcut to repeat the last action would really speed things up and reduce the tedium of making the same change over and over again. Thanks Figma for the amazing work, hopefully my little wishlist will come true someday! 🙏✨
When writing paragraphs with some fonts, the paragraph spacing at zero is still too widely open, I want to close them further, a negative paragraph spacing would do the job.
So After the update,I got SLOW down. seriously. Lot of things I use changed. For starters, coloring, and hand tool locations changed. Crop Image is now HIDDEN. Literally you go on a journey to find where it is. Someone in a billion dollar company thought this was a great idea…Only things I love is the AI features for remove background and boost res. And I accidentally found those. I cant see what other AI features are implemented.I am going with the changes and I HAVE to adapt. but Cmon guys. Let us use what we used to. Roll back the UI or smthng. This is slowing me down.
Hi,Is there a way to put the color accessibility directly in the UI panel? Like right next to styles, if I select and object it shows check mark & AAA or AA or an X and then you can click into it as needed. Right now if I have a bounded variable, I have to click color, then go custom and then go check?
I just hate seeing a red line under favourite. Thank you. Love the product.
Hi Figma team,I was really disappointed to see that Iranian universities are no longer supported for the Education Plan. For many of us, Figma has been more than just a tool; it’s been our main way to learn design, collaborate with classmates, and dream about building a career in this field.Losing access feels discouraging. We’re just students who want to learn and grow, and it hurts to feel excluded because of where we live. Education should bring people together, not separate them.I hope you can reconsider this decision or at least find a way to keep Iranian students included. Having equal access to learning tools like Figma means the world to us. Thanks for listening and for everything you’ve built to inspire the design community.
Hey everyone,I’ve been using Orca Slicer for a while and really enjoy its features, but I just saw that a new release is out. Has anyone here tested the orca slicer latest version yet?I’m curious about what improvements or fixes it brings compared to the previous builds. Specifically, I’d like to know if there are noticeable changes in print quality, speed, or support generation. Also, does it remain stable on different printers? Any feedback, pros, or cons would be super helpful before I update.
We currently have different libraries in which we store different levels/layers of Figma variables (encoding design tokens). In our current set up, we have a Semantic library, with variables pointing to variables in a Themes (light/dark modes) library, and those point to colours in a Primitives library. Right now, there isn’t an easy way of seeing the library in which a referenced variable exists. If I have a variable x referencing y, it seems like I need to try editing x to see where y is coming from. Tokens Studio has this great visualisation that you can open in a browser from the plugin in Figma. It’s built using https://reactflow.dev/. I guess the same could be made for Figma variables, but we don’t even need a fancy solution like that one. Within Figma, even a sticky header would make things less painful. And a “variable explorer” view would make things so much clearer, even if it only let you see one full path through the aliasing graph at a time.
Hi,I’m trying to transition the agency I work for onto Figma Slides from Keynote. One of the blockers I’m having is that Figma Slides does not feature a Master Slide for the beginning of every document. I have created a master design file containing variables, components etc so that my colleagues can cherry pick any slide design they want, but obviously the components being pulled through are always instances, so changing something as trivial as a client name in the header throughout the doc is a ‘find and replace’ action which is a bit hackie, therefore the need for a Master Slide. It would also be nice to see variables in Figma Slides so you can change the font family rather than having to go into every style and changing it there.
I need to be able to see which Layers are using a particular Variable in order that I would know if I can safely remove a variable or not. Hence, please add a parameter within the Search bar called “Variable Name”. Or you may include how many instances are using a particular variable within the Variables Page, or within the Edit Variable modal as shown in the screenshot.Lastly, please allow Gradients to be added as variable. Thank you!
Problem: It’s difficult to get an overview of which colors are being used in a document Solution: All selected colors are in alphabetical order. This way you are able to see if there are duplicates
Hi, I am working on a problem and my process starts with Figjam file, later I will be moved to Figma. I would greatly appreciate if I can create a page for Figjam within Figma file itself so that I have central place for all my problems/features in one place. This reduces my file clutter in design also. Easier to manage and control the context in both ways.
Hi,I would like to see faster quick emoji menu when hovering over comment in figma. Something like MS Teams does: Right now figma requires one more click and it opens huge popover with all emojis with is not ideal solution in my opinion.
As a Solution Architect I would like to use Figma Jam for my project Architectural Diagrams but the Figma Jam doesn't currently support Bumped Arrows which is primary element of standard sequence diagram.
