Thank you, @Celine_D. I also noticed that notification button appears in the header of the forum. It’s great. It also would be nice to have a notification when someone liked your comment or post.

The search results should have an option to sort by date.

All the results are shown mixed up now. When i want to find a similar problem and solution, i need to see the newest topics, but not the ones that were posted 3 years ago, for example.

I appreciate the new layout, navigation, and style overall. It feels simpler cleaner and more content-focused but it does overall feel like a slide backwards in terms of functionality so far.

To start with, I can’t really recall how it compares with the old forum, but I feel like I’m always waiting — it feels much slower and less responsive. Agree with others as well that not having subscriptions and notifications flow over from the previous forum and not being able to vote on features is a bit of a pain too. The forum feels instantly less useful and personalised because of it.

The most surprising things for me though are two very simple accessibility issues —

  1. 14pt body text is way too small for such a visually simple, content-heavy website like this, and
  2. This colour contrast is… yikes

Keep up the great (and hard, I’m sure) work though! Can’t wait to see how the forum continues to evolve over time 🙂

Filter for most liked and most commented post would be nice, not only most viewed.

What is this? Is it some sort of wind up?

Hello Figma - I’m here to introduce a concept known to most people as “deletion”. What this refers to is the removal of something - in this case, from a website or database. So what will happen is something - a picture, for example - might exist (i.e. be present in some place on the pane of reality), and then, after someone pressing a “delete” button, this thing that did exist would cease to do so. So what would happen is it would be real (defined by Oxford as ‘actually existing as a thing or occurring in fact; not imagined or supposed’), and then no longer be real after the delete key was pressed. This allows something to go from a state of existing to a state of not existing.

It’s a very powerful tool, and has been present on computational devices for a long time - even before personal computers were invented. As such, I would strongly recommend that you integrate this valuable tool onto your platform. It would be so beneficial!

Thank you!
