Those two list item components are same component with collapsed and open variant. I would like to have upper one pushing lower one down on opening and vice versa on collapsing. Is something like that feasable with Figma? Later I am planning to add more items, but I am trying to avoid complex components with dozens of variants. Thank you in advance for your support
Hey, is there a way to put the component in the other instance of the same component? I’d like to use basic layout components across my design system so it’d be soooo useful. If it’s not possible - is there a way to bypass it in a different way than building similar components with different name?
Currently, you can press enter to go down one step in layers, and shift-enter to go up. That’s really useful, but completely pointless when there’s multiple layers at same level, and you need to select only one of them. Is it possible to somehow select only first in the list, or navigate to next sibling? Because right now, when I enter into a deeper layer, it selects all layers within making any kind of manipulation impossible.
Hi, How can I export the source resolution version of an image which has been set as a style? I have looked far and wide to figure this out, but it does not seem possible. This seems like a feature every single developer in the entire world would need, I do not understand how this is not implemented yet?
I added the fonts locally (Font Awesome 5 Free, Font Awesome 5 Brands) and at the same time the “FontAwesome” font disappeared from the list. And when I deleted fonts locally, it remaines in application as if I had not deleted. And the former “FontAwesome” did not return How to remove fonts from Figma? And get back default fonts?
Hello guys, I have already submitted a form for joining the beta community on Figma. It is almost 2 weeks and I haven’t heard back any updates. I would like to publish my design system but I still can’t upload files for the community. How long should I wait ? Thank you
Hello, I am trying for days now to set another editor for my figma file (I’m on the free plan). Whenever I do it I get: “Upgrade to Professional You’ve reached your plan’s 2 editor limit. The user you’ve invited will be granted view access, but they won’t be able to edit. You may give them edit access later if you upgrade to the Professional plan or downgrade other editors on your team to viewers.” My settings before I try to add the user looks like that. So just one owner and no other editor! Can someone help me? Thanks a lot 🙂
Hello, When i export assets to zeplin or my own folders, assets has blank space. For example; On figma i can see duck without blank size; But when i export to zeplin or my own folder duck has lot of blank space from top ect.; How can i export without blank spaces? Anbody knows?

I’m trying to work on a prototype for a client. We’ll be building an iOS app since our core users are mostly iPhone users. Right now I’m at the Hi-Fidelity wireframe phase, where I’ll be building an interactive prototype for the users, without any branding/ colors. Just to test the idea. My problem is that I can’t decide which iPhone artboard to go with. I hate it when, with some prototypes, you end up having weird black bars when it’s not built for your phone’s screen ratio. Should I just go with an ‘iPhone X’ artboard or is there a way to make it more responsive where it fits all iPhone sizes?

Hello guys, I hope you can assist with this one. I was doing a design implementation and I typed “{” and “]” with ATL GR + Key, and since then I cannot run Figma on PC anymore, it just crashes 😃 Tried to re-install but the problem persists.
I love the Text > Text Uppercase / Lowercase function in Figma, I used it profusely until about a month or two ago when it stopped working for me. Several updates and reboots later, it still won’t come back. All the other text transform options (e.g. bold, strikethrough, increase/decrease text size) work for me except the Text Uppercase / Lowercase / Original Case. Other members of my team have tested and they still have the full functionality. Is this a permissions thing? I miss my letter case transforms so much, I hope someone has some idea of how to get it back.
Is there currently a way to create a deep touch interaction experience in Figma, or is there a plan for that? I’m wondering if anyone has a way to demo it or workaround.
I have an issue regarding with the scroll within a modal, wonder if anyone have gotten this on your projects. As you see in the sample, the scroll feature works, but once I bring the modal up, some how the view kicks back and doesn’t allow me to scroll all the way down, wonder what’s wrong with my setup… thanks in advance

Hi, design noob here. I’m trying to export a part of these rectangles but can’t figure it out: I masked the biggest part of this shape with rectangles (please see screenshots) but can’t export it properly in SVG - even when I draw a slice around the part I want to export. Hi, I’m trying to do something in Figma using icons from the web. I downloaded some, and I noticed that their border is too thick to fit in my design (they are already outlined), so I applied a white inside border to them, since the background is also white (so I get thinner borders); but when exporting the frame to PDF you can actually see a very thin black border around the icon. _ I forgot to add that in Figma everything is alright, there is no black border around it: Is this a problem with PDF rendering?
I’m trying to get the fill of a GroupNode. When I try to access that property, I see this error: Property 'fills' does not exist on type 'GroupNode'.ts(2339). Based on the documentation I think I should be able to access this property.
I have a Mac and I DO NOT have Avenir Next installed on my computer, however I can access Avenir Next on Figma in Chrome. My collegue does not have Avenir Next in chrome on Windows. Please advise.
I am creating a marketing flyer that we recently translated to Burmese. We’ve converted this flyer into a variety of other languages but it seems that Burmese characters are not recognized. What work arounds would be recommended? Do I need a plug-in?
