I added the fonts locally (Font Awesome 5 Free, Font Awesome 5 Brands) and at the same time the “FontAwesome” font disappeared from the list.
And when I deleted fonts locally, it remaines in application as if I had not deleted.
And the former “FontAwesome” did not return

I found that the default font FontAwesome used in Figma was FontAwesome version 4.
I downloaded FontAwesome 4.7 and installed it, and it was found again by Figma
