🎉 Welcome to the Figma Forum! 🚀
I work with a design system that has a lot of spacers. On Sketch, there’s a custom plugin we have that toggles the visibility of all layers with “@spacing” in its name. Looking for a similar option for Figma!
My internet works perfectly, I can watch YouTube videos and check social media. I don’t want to panic but I can’t access my files ?? Even on the browser
I was working on a file, when I realized the offline button appeared. it was weird, as all my other files were opening just fine. I decided to close the file, but when I try to open it it takes forever to load, but never fully loads. I sent the link to some friends but it won’t load on their computers either. does anyone know how to fix this?
I’m often importing fairly high resolution assets like 3D renders into frames. Many of these images are 5120x2280 in PNG format. I’ve read that Figma downsamples all images larger than 4000px, but I could use some more clarity on this. Are PNGs converted to JPG as part of this downsampling process? Are these images downsampled to 4000px on the longest side? Is this always the case? Furthermore, is there anyway to actually control the downsampling? For example, it would be really great if I could automatically convert 5120x2280 PNGs into, say, 1600x900 JPGs, either while importing or through the image fill panel.
I’ve just noticed that I can no longer choose “Vertical scrolling” as an “Overflow behaviour” on any of the frames in my prototype. The option is displayed with a little exclamation mark to the left. I have created a new empty frame, and get the same problem. Previous frames with this option still scroll vertically, but I can’t edit the setting. Help! I can no longer work on my project 😦

How do I export a photo with a shadow so that the shadow isn’t exported as an extra area? When designing a website, the developer tries to export the photo, but it is exported with an additional drop shadow box that does not give the exact dimension of the photo.
After some updates last year, every component I could find now has a non-empty key, even if it’s not published to the library. Before that, the key was only available on components that are published to the library, otherwise it was an empty string "", as far as I remember. I want to use the key as a key in the dictionary and I’m wondering if it would be ok to do that? Do all components now have a unique key? Or could there still be some old files that have empty string as a key?
Usually I can see an export tab here on the sidebar but it seems like it’s gone now. How can I export a layer to PNG / SVG?
