Hello, i need help!I'm using the official Figma MCP plugin with Claude Code.The server connects fine — claude mcp list shows plugin:figma:figma (https://mcp.figma.com/mcp, HTTP) as ✔ Connected. But when the agent tries to actually call any Figma tool (use_figma, get_metadata, get_screenshot, etc.), it always returns "No such tool available: use_figma" — same for every name variant.It looks like the tools are registered as deferred stubs (my config has tengu_deferred_stub_tool: true), so the individual tools are only supposed to materialize on demand — but the loader that expands them never surfaces, so none of the Figma tools are actually invokable. The MCP skills load fine; it's only the tool calls that fail.Has anyone hit this? Is there a way to disable deferred/stubbed MCP tools, or force the Figma tools to register directly? Restarting the session hasn't helped so far. I also tried to erase all servers and start from scratch, but nothing seems to work. Environment: Figma MCP plugin

Hi! I’m experiencing an issue with nested components placed inside a component slot.After triggering an interaction, some of the nested components visually reset to the default state defined in the design system. However, when I hover over them, they immediately return to the correct state they were supposed to display.In the attached video, the chips inside the drawer are configured with different labels and states. After closing and reopening the drawer, some of them appear with their default properties. As soon as I move the cursor over each chip, the correct label and state are restored.This appears to be a rendering issue, since the overrides are not actually lost and return without any additional interaction besides hovering.I’ve attached a screen recording showing the behavior. Has anyone experienced something similar or found a workaround?

Why can't my account use the AI agent on Figma, and why is sharing restricted?When submitting a prompt to the AI agent, I get this error:"Something went wrong"srid_KP0VRNAXSG3SHX7PCCFVNxxxxxFile sharing is also restricted on the same accounts.What I've tried so far:- Created a brand new account on a Starter plan just to test — same issue occurs.- Several people on my team use our company email (same domain) and hit the same problem.- Interestingly, some accounts using the exact same company domain do NOT have this issue — they can use the AI agent and share files normally.So it doesn't seem to be purely plan-related (happens on both Starter and Professional) or purely domain-related (some accounts on the same domain work fine, others don't).Has anyone else run into this, or know what might cause accounts on the same domain to be treated differently? Any insight would help — currently stuck waiting on a support ticket for this.

Hi everyone,After the UI3 update, the Export section completely disappeared from the right sidebar in Design mode.Yesterday it was there as usual, at the bottom of the Design panel. Today it's completely gone.I have already checked everything:I'm in Design mode. I'm the owner of the file. The right sidebar is visible. I selected frames, components, vectors, and images. I scrolled all the way to the bottom of the Design panel. I also created a new export setting before, so I know exactly where the Export section should be.The Export section is simply no longer there.If I try to export using keyboard shortcuts, Figma shows the message:"You are not allowed to export this file."Has anyone experienced the same issue after the UI3 update?Did the Export section disappear for anyone else? "Make an image" only generate 1:1 square‑format images by default. It can’t generate images in different aspect ratios, like 16:9, 4:3, vertical and other sizes.When you request other ratios, the output comes out inaccurate with noticeable deviations, which hurts practical usability.It really needs built‑in options for various aspect ratios, plus proper support to match the ratio requested in prompts.If there is any existing way to generate images with your desired aspect ratio, please let me know. Hey! I created transparent frame with glass effect applied but it disapears during an export. I tried different export plugins and formats but still glass effect is not presented as is on the exported file. If background is solid everything works perfectly. Is there any way to export it with transparency? The frame

I recently subscribed to the Figma Professional plan, primarily to use Figma Make AI. As part of my subscription, I received 3,000 AI credits.However, I am extremely confused and disappointed by how quickly these credits are being consumed.Here is what happened: I created only 6 design pages using Figma Make. Those 6 pages consumed all 3,000 AI credits that came with my Professional subscription. Assuming I may have simply run out of credits, I purchased an additional 1,000 AI credits. However, I did not realize that adding them as collaborators would result in them being assigned paid Full seats and significantly increase my subscription cost. I genuinely thought I was simply inviting people to collaborate on my files, and I never intended to purchase five Full seats or authorize these additional charges.According to my invoice, I was charged $100.00 for 5 Full seats, as well as a $54.19 billing adjustment, bringing the total to $154.19. What it says on the tin. I can’t select, edit, or even click some dropdown options in Figma. It’s not localized to a file, and it’s not localized to desktop app vs browser. It seems to be localized to my desktop computer, as things are working fine on my laptop. I’ve tried restarting the app multiple times, reloading the files tabs, etc. I can’t do any work on my dedicated computer and am unsure how to fix or prevent it from happening again. This isn’t the first time it’s happened.

Hello! I have a file where I keep all my CVs, I’m trying to copy an A4 frame to make a new version, but I keep getting the alert "You are not allowed to copy this file". I gave figma a break for about a week, but the same issue is still persisting. It’s my own file, so I’m not sure why it would suddenly lock me out like this. Any help would be appreciated! Update: it only does this on the web based browser version. The computer app is completely fine. The web based version also won’t let me export anything. 

When I have edit access to a file, I really don’t want to always land in dev mode. Any time I open a figma file link from my teammates (who also have edit access and haven’t marked anything “Ready for dev”), opening them lands me in dev mode. It’s super annoying. I never use it, since I am more comfortable viewing and reviewing designs in the traditional edit mode. And outside of our team will full edit seats, no one even has access to dev mode! So it’s not like any viewer with a lesser set of permissions would get dropped into dev mode anyway; why is that the default?!

I am working on a simple folder Icon. Everything is completely aligned to the pixel grid. See this example image: But when I go to the menu and select “Pixel Preview” to preview how the icon will look at 100%: The resulting image and UI components in my file look distorted, some with double borders, etc. It just looks janky: The interface zoom is set to 100%. All shapes are aligned perfectly to the pixel grid.I noticed that if I set the interface scale to 80%, everything looks crisp. See this image: But I can’t work like this. The UI is way too small. Why does pixel preview look horrible for me when the interface is at the default 100% scale?Possibly Related: I have a 4k monitor and my Windows DPI scaling is set to 125%. Could this be causing the issue?Can someone help?Edit: I don’t know why, but the last image with the UI scaling set to 80% looks a lot larger in my browser than it does on my desktop.
