I recently subscribed to the Figma Professional plan, primarily to use Figma Make AI. As part of my subscription, I received 3,000 AI credits.
However, I am extremely confused and disappointed by how quickly these credits are being consumed.
Here is what happened:
-
I created only 6 design pages using Figma Make.
-
Those 6 pages consumed all 3,000 AI credits that came with my Professional subscription.
-
Assuming I may have simply run out of credits, I purchased an additional 1,000 AI credits.
-
Surprisingly, after submitting just a single prompt, the entire 1,000 credits were consumed immediately.
This behavior seems unreasonable and makes it very difficult to understand the actual cost of using Figma Make.
I would appreciate answers to the following questions:
-
Why did a single prompt consume all 1,000 AI credits?
-
How are AI credits calculated for Figma Make?
-
Is the number of credits based on prompt length, generated components, iterations, or some other factor?
-
Is there a detailed credit usage log available that shows exactly how many credits each prompt consumes?
-
Were my credits consumed correctly, or could there be a billing or usage issue with my account?
-
Are there any known issues related to excessive AI credit consumption?
At the moment, the AI credit system feels unpredictable because there is no clear indication of how many credits a prompt will use before it is executed. Without transparency, it is impossible to estimate or manage AI usage effectively.
I kindly request that your team:
-
Review my account's AI credit usage history.
-
Explain why my credits were depleted so rapidly.
-
Confirm whether the usage is expected or if there has been an error.
-
Consider restoring any credits if the consumption was caused by a bug or unexpected behavior.
I subscribed to the Professional plan expecting to use Figma Make for my design workflow, but the current AI credit consumption makes the feature impractical. I look forward to your explanation and assistance.
Thank you.
