Details:1. This issue occurs on both desktop and web versions2. Reinstalling the version does not resolve the issue3. Sometimes it occurs frequently after a few operations, roughly every few minutes4. Turning on and off the vpn does not solve the problem5. Duplicating the file does not help

Hey Figma Community, I have been working on a big project, and creating it using Figma Make; with the full professional seat. there are a total of 1809 versions created on it right now, but I am stuck with this “Too many prompts, try again soon” message, in every figma make file, either creating from scratch or the same file. What could be the potential fix for this? Hi Figma Community,I'm experiencing an issue where Figma file links are not opening in the desktop app when clicked from Safari. Instead, they always open in a new Safari tab.The core issue is that this problem is isolated entirely to Safari. I’m trying to paste my prompts into figma make but it creates this text widget/document How do I turn this off?Before I was just pasting the prompt and clicking enter. Now that does not work, I need to write something bellow.I almost never write prompts here, I alway paste them, they come directly from Claude or GPT where I have specific projects for prompt creation, with guardrails and specific configurations.Please help me turn this off.  

Hi Figma Team,I am reporting a severe bug with Figma Make that resulted in a completely hallucinated design and the unfair loss of ~250 AI credits on my Professional plan.I attempted to generate a specific dashboard ("v3 / dashboard") using my "Caregiver Web Portal" design system. Despite attaching my local library and providing explicit rules in Guidelines.md, the AI failed completely.The Issues: Ignored Libraries & Guidelines: The tool completely ignored my attached components and explicit styling rules, hallucinating an entirely different and unusable UI. Server Crashes: I hit multiple "Model is overloaded" errors and endless Vite preview engine spinners. Massive Credit Drain: One single incorrect generation cost me 172 credits. In total, I have lost nearly 250 credits to these bugs and server failures.

Hi Figma Support Team,I’m reaching out because I’m genuinely disappointed with the reliability of Figma’s AI features. I’ve been using Figma consistently for the past three months, and around half the time I try to use the AI tools, the results are either incorrect or completely unusable.In many cases, the AI confirms that it has implemented the feature I requested, but instead it generates fake or irrelevant UIs, or it doesn’t implement the requested feature at all. This has slowed down my workflow significantly and has made it difficult to trust the tool for day‑to‑day design tasks.I chose Figma because of its reputation for quality and innovation, so it’s frustrating to experience this level of inconsistency. Could you please look into why this might be happening and advise whether there are known issues or upcoming fixes?I’d appreciate any guidance or solutions you can provide.

I can’t get my student plan approved, I need it for my upcoming course in Uni. I’ve tried and failed in verifying my account with all sorts of documents while my peers in the same major and course didn’t encounter any troubles (I submitted the same documents they had).I’ve reached out to SheerID support and they couldn’t offer me any help - “After a deeper look into your request, we are sorry to inform you that we are unable to verify your status at this time. Because our system could not validate the information provided—and due to the nature of our verification platform—we are not able to offer further details or manual assistance for this specific request” was the reply I received. I’ve also contacted education@figma.com but haven’t received any confirmation that my mail has been received. I am a professor and use FIGMA. My education status on my account seems to have expired and reverted the account to the free version.When I go to verify again I get this error message:Verification Limit Exceeded.-----I have reached out to SHEER ID for help but they are not responding.I need the professional status of my account restored asap, since I have a class in session and am using it.

I cannot publish my work anymore. It says “Publish was unsuccessful - try again later or contact support”. Is this related?I have the same issue as well as Update attempt was unsuccessful. It worked fine until this morning.

Hello friends, I'm having trouble opening Figma Make. The submitted requirements work fine, but the preview area keeps showing "Couldn't load Make". How can I solve this problem?

I’m sure that the page is extended to include the entire design content of my pages, but when I publish, some of them are fully viewable and others I can’t scroll to the bottom of them! Sometimes it’s just a little bit, and other times it’s a good 200px worth of content. I’ve tried different browsers and it’s consistent across them.

You have to enter characters in the exact order as the file name, fuzzy search almost never work.If I got a file named: “あいう”：✅ Search “あ”, “あい”, or “あいう” shows the file. ❌ Search “い”, “う”, or “いう” doesn’t, not even in “see all results” page.I have to use Raycast’s Figma search plugin to get this simple task done. Search from the first character of the file name. Search from the middle of the file name.

I am using the education upgrade for Figma and some members of my team are able unable to access the files we are working on. Everything online about adding/editing seats is involves the admin page, but the ‘seats’ column in the admin members page is not there. My teammates need access to our project. Do you know of any way to fix this?

The go to instance button button in the the Review updates modal doesn’t seem to focus the artboard on the selected component anymore. It used to not only select the relevant page and highlight the component in the layers menu, but it also used to zoom into the component as well. But now selects the relevant page, but has the zoom level all the way out and for large design pages, it’s very painful to try to find where the highlighted instances is.

Hi everyone, i cant open my files on the figma app (keeps on loading)  but i can open it on the browser

I’m on an Education plan, team admin, but my seat is locked and I can’t assign a Full seat. I need Full seat access to publish a team library for Figma Make. 

For a few months now I’ve been running into a very specific bug with auto-layout, items set to ignore auto-layout, items pinned to all sides, and undo.When I cut (⌘-X) the parent item, then undo (⌘-Z) the nested ignore auto-layout pinned item has its Y position set to 340 instead of where it previously was (0).I’m unable to get the problem to show up with a fresh file, so I’m convinced it’s some kind of cascading issue I have with a specific set of properties on components. Anyone else running into this?

Hi Figma team,I recently updated my subscription payment method and saw a $0 authorization, which led me to believe the update was successful. However, there was no clear confirmation in the billing settings showing which payment method was active.My subscription was subsequently charged to the previous payment method instead of the updated one. This creates accounting and tax complications for me, as the subscription should be billed to my business account.I have already contacted support but have not yet received a response. I've been a loyal Figma user for many years, and I hope we can resolve this promptly.My case number is 1768372.

I bought a subscription to the professional plan and cancelled it during the first month. My account is now the free one. But I have just been charged for another month! Why? I would like a refund please. 

I purchased the collab seat for $5.60 on Jan 25 and paid for it directly. I received the invoice on Jan 26.However, on Feb 26, I was unexpectedly charged for a “Recurring Professional Team (monthly) subscription.” I had already canceled all subscription plans in early Feb, so I do not understand why this charge occurred since I am now back on a free account.Please assist me with this issue. $16.80 is a significant amount in my country. Why was I charged again? Am I eligible for a refund?I only agreed to pay the initial $5.60 as advertised. I did not consent to any $16.80 recurring subscription.
