I have a master button component and I have applied variable on font name so it will change on desktop (opensans) and mobile (poppins) when I set frame mode. Now issue is when I update master button component weight property the variants are not updating when I drag variant outside the frame and again place it inside the frame it gets updated please fix this bug figma ASAP.

I am batch renaming layers and need to change the case from mixed case to lowercase. (A simple example: “ICON_brand_IconNameHere_Primary” → “icon_brand_iconnamehere_primary”). According to this Figma article, the Rename Layers tool should support regular expressions. I’ve used this in the past to successfully edit prefixes and suffixes, but it isn’t working for changing cases. I’ve tried using the following expressions: Match: ([A-Z]+) Successfully matches capital lettersReplace:\L$1I’ve tried variations on this, and instead of changing the case, it just inserts “\L$1” wherever capitals exist in the original.How can I achieve this?

Is anyone else experiencing this? no matter what is tried.Figma crashes only by accessing the plugin. Not even interacting with it.

Фигма стала потреблять много энергии. Даже открывая пустой файл, появляется уведомление о высоком потреблении энергии. Из-за чего быстро разряжается аккумулятор.К примеру, при работе в ФШ такого нет и аккумулятор сажается медленнее. За 8 часов работы в ФШ сажает 50-60%, а фигма разряжает полностью за 4-5 часов.Ноут — MacBook Pro M1 Pro  

I have been experiencing this issue where if I have viewers added to the project and the files within the project inherit the project view settings the viewers are still unable to open each file within the project. And when I look at the files I only have 2 share options: “Only those invited” (which means I need to grant access on an individual basis or “Anyone” (which would result in ANYONE even outside the organization to be able to access it with the link)This feels like a bug to me because I need to add everyone one by one to every single file. And when I need to revoke access later in time I cannot do it globally, I have to go into EVERY SINGLE FILE to remove them. You can understand how problematic this is. Is there any solution so that everyone who is part of the organization or project automatically has access to every file within each project folder?? Or is this the intended functionality?

When I click the blue update icon, I get a success message, but the blue icon never goes away and the component does not update. I am stuck in an endless loop. I have tried repairing the connections per another post.

I am following the Figma beginners tutorial and when I select a group within my design, and attempt to convert it to a frame, some of the material from the group does not seem to render into the frame.  In particular, it seems to cut off some of the material from the borders.I’m following the steps outlined in the tutorial - create a group, select the group, use the drop down menu on the right to change “group” to “frame”. 

I have a big file (130K layers) and recently I add the new variables for text styles and boy the file running very slow, I can’t edit nothing, not mentioning play with the prototype. It has nothing to do with my PC or memory usage (14%). I had to remove the variables for text styles to make the file run faster and it works. This new feature is great but until this performance issue will not be resolved I will not add variables for text styles to my projects.

As the title describes the “Panels > Toggle Variables” disappeared from MacOS Menu (using the Figma app) after one of the lasts updates. This is needed though for giving it a custom keyboard shortcut. In some old tabs that I haven’t refreshed in a while it is still available. As soon as I refresh the tab it disappears. Here is the menu before/after. Please fix, this slows me down so much … Thanks J

Figma web site does not load totally fine but gets stuck at this stage: When i check firewall logs i see some https(443) traffic being blocked with a warning of high risk:Question1: why forti thinks we got a high risk here, any clues?2nd: Whats your suggestion to make web site work? (turning off ips, AV, webfiltering or smthng else?)

We currently struggle with Icon sizes in figma. All our icons measure 32x32 px. Our Devs now noticed that there are different sizes displayed in the Dev Panel. For Layout the measurements are correct: 32x32px. But in the SVG section it says: 32x33px. This is the case for several Icons, some are single components, some are part of a component set.Single Component​​​​​​Component within set.Does anyone have a similar problem? How do I solve this?

Hi,I've been having a nightmare today trying to access different pages in the Figma Mac app. Some pages load fine, but others simply won't open. I've tried resetting the cache, using the browser version, and even resetting the cache there as well, but the performance issues persist.Is there anything else I can try to resolve this problem?   

When using swap instance and trying to find an icon, its really hard to see since the icons are black too 😰, is there anything I can do? 

I have a problem with the layout grid functionality. I set up columns and rows in my projects. Previously I was able to create several layouts, now I create columns/rows, set the parameters, then add another layout, but then I can't edit any layout.Do you know what the problem is?

The annonations font in Hebrew when Dev Mode is on is not the same font of the rest of the Hebrew fonts. It’s very hard for developers to read because is a serif style and very small. Please fix this by matching the Hebrew font to the rest of the fonts (Arial).

I have read the documentation on where to find a personal access token and I cant find it in my settings. Any help would be appreciated  

I am not getting exact render displayed in Figma web while exporting it to SVG format. The shadow and gradient are not going as per expected. I looked at one comment where community member suggested to use clip content. It worked for another user. However, I tried same this, and it is not working.  

I’m trying to switch the fill color of certain elements that have assigned color variables. Normally you can just click on the applied color variable and it will pull up your library and you can switch it. But when I click on it now it doesn't do anything and I can’t switch it that way anymore. I’ve tried quitting/reopening Figma and the file itself, and restarted my computer, but it hasn’t helped. Was wondering if you could help?

I’m trying to combine auto layout components with frame resizing, however I can’t seem to get them to work together. If I have a series of component in an auto layout frame, they won’t resize even if I set the constraints of every component to “Left and Right”. If anything, when I have my elements in a Frame then add auto layout to that frame, the “Left and Right” constraints disappear. I also re-checked all of my component’s parent components & variants and set their constraints as well. I tried to solve this by setting the resizing value to “Hug” or “Fill Container” up in the coordinates panel, but as soon as I resize the “parent frame” the components & auto layout frames automatically revert to “Fixed” and don’t hug or fill the resized container. The end result is that it feels like I can’t use auto layout if I’m trying to have my screen resize automatically. Other designers I work with are also running into this problem. Any ideas on what could be happening?

I’m working on drafting out a tutorial for a complex process which involves highlighting buttons on the page with a drop-shadow effect to cause a glow on them. My problem is that after I duplicate that frame and remove the drop-shadow/glow effect from the button, it removes it at first but is reapplied when I either change something else on the frame or when I close the document and come back. So there’s no real way to remove the glow effect on a button once I’ve applied it to one and duplicated it… This is very frustrating and would appreciate any help in how to possibly resolve this!

Hi everyone,I'm having trouble with the new Figma Slides feature. When I try to copy and paste a layer from one page to another, it doesn’t go where I intend. Instead of placing the copied element on the existing slide I’m working on, it creates a brand-new slide with the contents. Is this a bug?Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yesterday everything was fine but today when I wanted to see my prototype it started lagging badly .I have 3 pages with but they aren’t any complex and many more complex projects ran perfectly fine, this one doesn’t have an enormous amount of animation or components with a lot of variants (usually up to 2 var.)  How can I fix this? I’ve read “how to reduce figma memory usage” but it wasn’t really helpful.  edit: if i post it on Behance as a prototype it runs perfectly fine

Hi there, I’m trying to copy and paste a frame from a previous version within my file into my existing workspace. The frame is being pasted, but components and layers are showing as empty frames. Any solutions?

Hello! Today I accidentally deleted some elements from my space, but Figma has only versions which were created more than 30 days ago. I don’t understand why figma didn't do the backup version of my space before I did my delete, and now I can’t restore deleted elements from cmd+z and can’t restore my previous version because of the free account.Maybe I can restore my previous version from the support ticket?
