Changing mode while hovering/pressing

Can anyone from Figma take a look at this. I feel like this is a bug but maybe it's intentional?

In the meantime, would you be able to share the file link with us? If so, please invite support-share@figma.com with "can edit" permissions so we can take a closer look. Just a heads-up—users with @figma.com emails on your team won’t count toward your billing.
