Hi,Sometimes I use group objects instead of auto layuot ​​when necessary, but I noticed that this has been changed with recent updates. PLease stop moving most commonly used buttons to new places all the time!It isvery bad us practise, each time I need to spend time to learn where I can find an options that was moved or has a new look, like whith this auto layout flow buttons, which where presented as a dropdown before. Very subtle and unexpected change.

How to recover my figma slide files

As the heading suggests.

Noobie here but I’ve looked at all the forums and videos on this. NOT talking about the UI hide which seems to work in hiding the BOTTOM icon bar. I was using the LEFT sidebar which contains icons in for process planning etc. I hid it and now it is gone in both online and app versions. NOT fixed de clearing cache OR by using view UI

I can’t find layout after the update.I used to see one when I created a frame with shift + a . 

I use Figma in browser (Chrome 136) on Windows 11 23H2. Recently I’m experiencing missing fonts in design files, yet the missing fonts are installed and usable on my computer. The settings panel insists that I have not installed FigmaAgent, but I have. Reinstalling FigmaAgent does not solve the problem.The problem does not always manifest itself. It sometimes goes away after a reboot.Other topics in this forum suggests that figma_agent.exe might have not been started. That’s not the case. The program is properly configured to run on startup, and I can see it in Task Manager.However, in Resource Monitor, I see no program listening port 44950. Apparently figma_agent.exe somehow failed to bind the port, but there is no diagnostics because it is a GUI program and does not output anything with OutputDebugString. So - first of All, the button appears for a second, and thenb just disappears. I tried to check it up on different accounts. 2nd of all - When looking troughout all figma community files, why not to let person open few sources like links in browser? - its really frustrating that sometimes faster way is to re-enter the tab and write the same input in search field

This area of the interface is currently registering actions on mouse release, even when the press starts outside and the cursor is only moved into the area before releasing. As someone using a drawing tablet instead of a mouse, I find this quite frustrating, since it's easy to accidentally release the mouse within this area after adjusting the gap on the side.Details:I use a drawing tablet instead of a mouse. When adjusting the Gap (on the right side), I highlight the Gap field with the pen pointer, then quickly move the cursor back into the design area. If I perform the action quickly, the pointer often slides over the alignment adjustment area before being released. That’s how I discovered the issue. 

Now I can’t set a cover. I followed the instructions to move the artboard to the top-left corner, but it doesn’t work. Please bring back the feature to manually set an artboard as a cover — without it, files are no longer visually organized.

I’m trying to switch my team to using Slides, but when they export the decks to PDF they are reporting huge file sizes (over 10MB) even when setting the quality to “low”. Even with very basic slides, the files are large, how can we get decks below 5MB without having to use a 3rd party compressor? And why are they so massive?

I opened my Figma today and saw the announcements of what launched at Config. However I could not read most of it, as the text was cut off.I use lower resolution (1168x755) to make text bigger on my laptop (MacBook Pro 16”), so I presume this is why the popup content was truncated. I often see this issue on the web in general – a button falls outside the viewable UI, text gets cut off, etc. Usually I need to temporarily zoom out in order to be able to access the button or whatever (although this is not an acceptable solution). In Figma I tried using the usual hotkeys for zoom Cmd +/Cmd -, and nothing happened (I have since discovered it’s called “Interface Scale” and uses different hotkeys). There was also no way to scroll, resize, expand this modal popup. The svg_include_node_id property doesn't exist in the Pulgin API's ExportAsync method when exporting to SVG, but it is present in the REST API's GET image endpoint. Can we please have the property in the Plugin API as well? The svg_include_id property isn't enough to map figma nodes to SVG elements. Hi, Why can we not use naming that matches JSON when creating tokens? My developers cannot just copy paste the tokens since the naming is different.
