Display errors within screens

Robedy

For a few days now, all users from my company have been experiencing the error that previously created designs are displayed incorrectly. This is shown by the fact that elements are completely shifted and components appear destroyed (spacing is incorrect and elements are overlapped). As soon as I double-click on the element or component, everything straightens out again. But each user has to do this separately. And several times a day. Since then, this has had to be done several times a day and our developers can't even correct this in Dev Mode, for example. This makes it impossible to work at all.

Figma support had a really good solution for me which worked directly:

Step 1: Click the main menu in the top left, then click Actions. Or in the Tab bar on Actions.
Step 2: Search for Regenerate all instances
Step 3: Then click this command which says Repair after it

Hey @Robedy , sorry for the trouble! This looks definitely odd.

I see your support ticket in the backend (for your reference, ticket number #1241512). We have escalated to the Technical Quality team for further investigation. We will reply you soon, thanks for your patience in the meantime 🙏🏼

Awesome! Thanks for sharing the workaround. I’ve marked your response as the ‘Best Answer’ so others can easily find it if they run into a similar issue.
